I actually think asking Ramsey to peel carrots isn’t a bad thing, he could have took one of his chefs out of their place and replaced them but he had faith in what they would deliver so trusted them with the stations. I think it says more about that then not using Ramsey.

He poached staff when he left Aubergine to open Ramsay. Literally, all of them, and it led to a lawsuit. Gordon is not an idiot, he will remember people who are good at their jobs and scalp them from worse positions. It's a double-edged move but, people have to move on and progress, and Ramsay is the best in the world at the moment.

He could have made Gordon do more tasks, sure, but that wasn't the goal of the entire Training session. Why the hell do we need Gordon to properly cook when we've got what looks like rice half cooked that can't be sent, and for once the head chef down there has a level head on his shoulders and is trying to actively train those who need it the most.

at the very beginning of this, I felt very mixed emotions at seeing them greet each other so closely. First I felt a sharp panic at them not being socially distant, then I felt disgust when I realised how close they had just gotten for no real reason, then I felt a quiet sadness because I miss that greeting, a simple hug. Hard to believe that just hugging someone is so strange now #sadness
