It's strange that MIB agents didn't have their memories flashed red as soon as they were drafted, and were told something like, "you're an MIB agent, you were born and raised to be just that, we're your family and there is nothing else but your family." In this way they would have avoided so much depression and regret for the officers who live knowing that they had to abandon their lives and their loved ones.
Maybe that would clash with their memories, they would have to reconcile not having trained and having a normal life until then? Wait a minute I didn't have weapon training?! Why did I get bullied in high school? So on and so on. Not neurolysing them would somewhat preserve what makes them good candidates to be agents and in their carreer they get brain damaged so much, at one point many must have neuralysed themselves many times already to keep going.

The stakes are high, the threats are real, and the characters make sensible decisions and suffer the consequences of the bad ones.
Casting is perfect, Vincent D'Onofrio gave one of the best physical performances still to this day, the main and side characters are distinct and memorable. The effects hold up, and the overall vibe is just terrific. Not to mention Danny Elfman's always awesome score.
It's up there with The Matrix and Blade Runner as one of the greatest sci-fi movies ever. It's one of my all-time favorites.
"K, give the kid a weapon. Make it a happy weapon."
I never noticed, J's gun actually makes a cricket sound before it shoots.
I just realized he asked the guy with all the bug killing supplies where they keep the dead. lol
5:36 I use to laugh so hard at this scene when I was growing up. I laughed so hard when the tow truck driver said’’please’’.
Edgar: Keep my wife’s truck’s name out of your f****** mouth.
Edgars pulls out gun
Tow Truck Driver pulls out gun
Tow Truck Driver: This is the greatest battle in televison of history.
J: "Feels like I'm going to break this d*mn thing!"
Me: That scene never gets old.😂
A little light on the subject!!
Edgar "compared to you, I am on the higher rung of the evolutionary ladder". Always Edgar who has to open a box: 0:21
3:18 Spider-Man No Way Home, MJ gives Peter that very same coffee cup in the end.
Good eye. I think that shop just exists in New York in real life somehow.
I think Kay's reaction when Jay points the gun at him is pretty accurate, but I would think that with Jay being a police officer he would have enough common sense to know that even a little gun like that should never be pointed at any person he's not trying to kill. I do like that he has enough trigger discipline to not touch the trigger, but I can't tell if it's because he's treating it like a weapon or if it's because he's trying not to drop it.
I love how movies still think abusing keyboards is sophisticated tech using behavior.
The only real piece of science fiction here is that New York was ever that deserted.
0:21 - 2000 год: мальчик, которому запретили играть на приставке "денди".
2005 год: мальчик, которому запретили играть на компьютере.
2024 год: мальчик, которому запретили трогать айфон.
I think what he meant to say was "little person cricket neuralyzer."
Now he only slaps the aliens
Come to think of it why _would_ he give J the noisy cricket if it was so destructive and he was just a rookie?
We like to do a little trolling at the office
It's strange that MIB agents didn't have their memories flashed red as soon as they were drafted, and were told something like, "you're an MIB agent, you were born and raised to be just that, we're your family and there is nothing else but your family." In this way they would have avoided so much depression and regret for the officers who live knowing that they had to abandon their lives and their loved ones.
Maybe that would clash with their memories, they would have to reconcile not having trained and having a normal life until then? Wait a minute I didn't have weapon training?! Why did I get bullied in high school? So on and so on. Not neurolysing them would somewhat preserve what makes them good candidates to be agents and in their carreer they get brain damaged so much, at one point many must have neuralysed themselves many times already to keep going.
main takeaway is that even aliens hate tow trucks
Never underestimate a relativistic atom projectile weapon
6:54 words of wisdom.
Vincent D'Onofrio is underrated actor of Man in Black
What drives me nuts, and did when this came out, is that where they highlighted is about an hour+ away from Truro itself.
Why is Neuralyzer in the quote in the title?
Algorithm
@@Eg0n97 TH-cam Algorithm makes people misspell a title when they upload?
@@animathehallowed1380 No, including different words can make it easier to be picked up by people using the search bar and the more views a page gets the more it's pushed up by the algorithm to people on the main page of youtube and in recommendations.
If you're gonna put a quote in the video title, at least make sure it's accurate.
To be fair, Kay...you only have the bug's ship because Jay discharged hia weapon in view of the public.
Love that this movie holds up so damn well, especially in an age of bland boring shit and remakes no one asked for.
Just realized Tommy Lee Jones is probably using a Kinesis Advantage keyboard. Had no idea they existed back then
Actually each dot we see in Orion's belt are comprised of two or three stars each. They're just positioned in a similar spot so to us it looks like one star. In the case of the last two they're actually incredibly far from one another.
8:16 I just realized that the Bug knocked over the table because of all of the pesticides on it. Originally I thought he did it just because he wanted to be a jerk.
Huh, good catch!
6:49 the way he says bull
The TV Version he says “non sense”
Truro is at almost the very end point of Cape Cod. His search was zeroing in on a spot almost two hours away from Truro. Closer to like Welfleet
Kingpin played an excellent skinwalker.
