      Have you received your Toyota Yaris Cross yet? Is so, what do you think of it?

      @@anthonyconnor1603 No, sadly it’s taking so long to be manufactured. I ordered it in April and the predicted delivery is end of January 2023. 😞

      @@victoriahayden2961 That is a shame. When you get it at the end of January I wish you good luck with it.

    Nice video mate I've got one on order expected by March 23 gr sports, that rear centre arm rest needs a slot in the rubber backing so it goes over the catch on the right hand seat back, keep up the good work.

      Thanks Paul. Very nice, they do look smart in the GR Sport. Hopefully your delivery will be on time. I've heard a few are still awaiting new cars due to delays. Toyota seem to be managing it well though. Thanks for watching.

    Still waiting on mine, been 3 months and its shown as still processing on the app. Worst thing was the guy who sold it to me was adamant it'll be a around a month although theres a tiny chance it may take longer. When we were talking about value, he said "Don't worry I'm going to care of you and you'll be happy with the price". The quote he bought back was the same online.
    Honestly how I ended up not walking out just because of sales assistant is beyond me.

      I can imagine wait times are being pretty long. Hopefully you won't be waiting much longer. It would be better if sales staff were more up front, thats kind of cheeky.
      Thank you for watching 🙏 i hope you enjoyed the review and found it helpful.

    Did you mention the consumption on test ?

    • @pittmotoring
      @pittmotoring  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good Morning Graeme, I did briefly. I only had the car for 2 hours or so to film the content and test. They claim between 54 - 65mpg. Majority of driving I did whilst I had the Yaris cross was mainly town with a mix of A/B roads. Some parts harsh acceleration. I averaged 51mpg. I would like to have the yaris cross again to test it further, especially its economy. Hope this helps 🙏. Thanks Eddie

    Will the AWD be any quicker with the extra electric motor at the rear??

    • @pittmotoring
      @pittmotoring  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sadly not, combined the 1.5ltr and the motors produce the same 116bhp, the AWD with the extra weight is 0.6secs slower, 11.2sec in the FWD, 11.8 in the AWD and also loses out on the MPG front by a fraction too in comparison with the FWD.
      I would like to test the AWD variant to see how it compares to the FWD I had for this review. My local Toyota dealer though only has the FWD variant as their Demonstrator.
      Thank you for watching and your comment 🙏 😊.

    The main difference compared to all the other cars mentioned is that the Yaris X is the only one to be full hybrid with the much improved mpg figures.

      There is that, the fuel economy is very good, there is also the option of 4wd also.

    • @anthonyconnor1603
      @anthonyconnor1603 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@pittmotoring The fuel economy is very good but how many miles can it do on a single tank of petrol? Salespeople don’t always release how many miles a car can go on a single tank of fuel? When you drove this car, how many miles did you manage to achieve from a single tank of petrol?.
