I've followed just about all of your builds and admire your attitude and skills. This one really hit home - it made me pull my almost-done Honda CMX 450 powered project out of the equipment shed. My wife put it into storage 5 years ago right after I broke my leg, and half the farm eventually got stacked on top of it.. I'm pushing 72 and figured it's get it done or sell it before either it or me rots away. Fortunately I had shut the petcock off on its last start up. All I did was replace the battery, clean the tank, and ran some fresh ethanol-free gas with a squirt of techron thru the carb - didn't even take it apart. Started and ran like it was last shut off yesterday. Forgot how loud it is thru 36" curved straight pipes with megaphone ends - neighbor a half mile away came over to investigate. I finished the clutch (bent the bike's clutch lever and mounted it as a foot pedal ) and fabricated the same kind of left-side jockey shifter. Took it for first ride with the right side tire in free-wheel. Light throttle, feathered the clutch, rolled out nice and quick, then nailed the throttle and it all but stopped moving - left rear tire just went up in smoke. Waiting on new set of Ebay tires all around. Once this one is done, I have an early Honda Pilot with a 2 stroke 398cc Kaw jet ski engine that 's nearly finished - just needs a better brake and a steering rack from GPS. Hope you guys are around for a long time to come.
I remember when it was just a pre cut coffin looking for a level spot to be welded.. man that thing turned out so freaking badazz.. never doubted you guys for a moment.. I’ll say it again that is the nicest and sweetest machine y’all have built to date..
Awesome build guys! Please, don't forget to prioritize installing a firewall before further testing as I know how easy it is to be carried away and get exposed to an accident. Safety first! Keep the awesome content coming! Have fun!
When I did my cart…I did it with a CB360 motor…fuel pump…hand shifter (half of handle bar with clutch lever) homemade live axle with 3wheeler tires and a sprocket the size of the wheel!!! Lone disk from the front of the bike! Thing was sick!!!
@@retrox684 You could easily make an aluminum wing that weighs all of a couple pounds and bolt it to that suspension brace in the rear. Since it wouldn't matter aerodynamicly till over 60 mph really in any meaningful way, it would be fine. Just don't make the wing out of steel and the balance won't be any worse than now. They could also do a front F1 style front wing, and do that out of steel to make a little more front weight bias since the engine is in the rear.
I know it's boring stuff but I'd throw two easy safety remedies in the mix: one tennis/pool ball on the shifter stick two avoid eye gouging and a sort of headrest to lower whiplash damages on the neck and to the head in case of unlucky rebounds

for getting the air out of the brake line , the ups and downs in the line traps the air , its still a light vehicle , just lift the rear up untill its above the level of the reserviour and start bleeding , should work a lot better
Neighbors gotta love it... I had quiet go karts and we wore down the lawn, now we're getting booted from our rental home. Interesting kart project for sure - can't help but hear the neighbors screaming silently though, for sure.
As a certified Drag Racing Nut' I am eagerly awaiting for you guys to get this thing to the drag strip! This would be something I'd love to do, a motorcycle engine & trans but with a solid rear axle built along the lines of your dragster...

Just want to say thanks for another great show. Always fun to watch you guys build these amazing creations. Would be awesome if you had some sort of giveaway or a chance for someone to come and work with you for a day. As always it’s great to watch the channel keep it up.

I would suggest a harness with a bucket seat and a taller head bar. And like someone else said a cluster with a thick roll cage spec tube to help in a roll over. But that ting is a freaking BEAST!
I was thinking this the whole video “they need a harness”. id listen to Charles, I mean if it was MY safety on the line I would. That thing is way to fast not to. I’d hate to hear about somebody flying out of it and it ending catastrophically. Keep up the good work guys I love this build it so awesome.
Well you 3 just walked out on stage and pulled the cover off your 750 cc Cross Kart, started with a bit of start up rhythm and broke into the fired up sound of one of the best builds on youtube , kicked ass and took names, with some carb work and a 4 into 1 collector for your exhaust my buddy the bike mechanic says you could possibly see 80/85 hp, it is a Frankenstein build and i thought you 3 could call it Phantom of the Paradise ,AKA the old movie from the 70's, your intro song could be LIFE AT LAST FOR YOUR NEXT VIDEO, and paint the side of the cart with a pissed off LEROY COMING BACK FROM THE DEAD TO GET THE RACCOON, THIS IS THE BEST YET

Keep Charles around! He seems to know his way around a garage and seems like our kind of people. #givecharlesaraise
+1 thumb up right here. This needs more likes.
He definitely has good energy!
Yeah seems like good dude 👍
Estevan Charrette yea #givecharlesaraise

can we all as a group say a quick prayer for John's father's grass. 🙏🙏🙏

It's cool young Owen Wilson decided to help out! Great video.
I thought the same thing.
wow! That's great!
Can we have an intern day contest? Dayum it's not often you see smiles as long a s the machine they're thrashing! Lethal, abso-freaking-lethal!
You mean 'Not Sure" decided to help out, he is the smartest man left alive....lol
Yea i know it his brother, just go with it....
Wow
Charles is super natural with you guys and seems hella comfortable on camera. Keep him around! Seems cool.
I think a gauge cluster would really look nice and potentially keep you from smashing your hands if yall roll over
Need a cage put on it like a Sprint car brace it toward the front then the arm restraints would work perfect
Awesome build guys! Please, don't forget to prioritize installing a firewall before further testing as I know how easy it is to be carried away and get exposed to an accident. Safety first! Keep the awesome content coming! Have fun!
Turned out better then I imagined it would. It looks like a blast to drive and sounds good too!
I was literally going to buy that motorcycle y’all used for this kart.
HOPE it holds together! it's a cool full susp racing go kart!
When I did my cart…I did it with a CB360 motor…fuel pump…hand shifter (half of handle bar with clutch lever) homemade live axle with 3wheeler tires and a sprocket the size of the wheel!!! Lone disk from the front of the bike! Thing was sick!!!
Suggestion: F1 style fiberglass body on it... and/or a huge wing
#bigwanggang
i think a rear wing yuou be worse. all the weight is in the rear with the engine so all its gonna to is lift the front iup making it harder to steer
And a big wing dang doodle

I came down here to suggest a big gnarly wing lol

Wow, that thing sounds awesome and looks like a blast but also borderline spooky in that grass
Big wing and some slicks. This would be a track beast. It can be a cross kart and a track kart with a simple change of tires
ricer
SO2002 that’s not ricey though
A wing? Hahaha, yeah, not how aero works, but ok.
@@SMDTURBO you never know 🤷🏾♂️
SMDTURBO yeah but at speed it works, depending on the angle and size of the wing and extra aero, then yes that is how aero works
This is your finest work. Great looking cart.
Holy crap that sounds amazing!! Great job 👍👍
I would totally drive this!
It will be too fast

The TruthSayer Dude, I take it that you have skipped school. You grammar often?
I left a comment on a previous video of this build on how I'd love to see something like this with a Sportster motor lol.
You guys was just to excited on this episode. Just so!!

U guys need an actual racing bucket seat it will help alot
james knocke They need to be strapped in lol. It looks like if you got ejected, the bar supporting the steering wheel would snap your femurs in half.

Not gonna lie, I love this so much. The look of the car. The tune of the motor. I love it
Now I gotta start building 1. That looks like a blast, you guys rock 🎸👍
Really cool edit of starting the kart up
when does it stop being a go cart, and becomes a dune buggy ? Whatever it is I love it ! ! !
robert miller this is boarder line I’d say, but it’s perfect
not even a bit dune buggy, dune buggies are built for dunes...
Usually it becomes a mini buggy when you add suspension.
Buggys tend to use car motors and tranys long travel suspension and full size tire wheels and breaks.... not those timy wheels
I mean my lawn mower has bigger wheels
