Well done. This is the most accurate video out there about the situation!!! I am quietly confident Paul is not wanted in the U.S. and has done his time (who knows if he has really settled his civil debts but that is unrelated to this). I suspect the actions of the Philippine Government is simply the karma bus catching up with Paul because of the lies, arrogance and toxicity he has brought to TH-cam. I suspect how the BI explained their actions to the media is not what is happening in reality (I suspect someone in the media division of the BI didn't quite understand the situation). The Philippine Government appears to be taking action under section 29(a)(3) of the Philippine Immigration Act of 1940. The Philippine Government has the authority to exclude aliens (foreigners) who have been convicted of a crime involving moral turpitude from entry into the Philippines. Whether Paul has done his time of not, he is person who has been previously convicted of offences involving moral turpitude. He was convicted of those offences in 2014 in the U.S..This probably would not have been picked up when entering the Philippines on a tourist visa. It would have been detected when Paul applied for a different type of visa to stay longer. Simple fact of the matter is the Philippine Government legally has the right to deport Paul and they have obviously taken a good look at him and his TH-cam channel and decided he is not the sort of character they want there. That is their right and hey have the grounds to deny him.

He is from the US.... LOTS of criminals from the US flee to SE Asian countries, the D. R. and other brown skin countries. Now I want you to remember that Ukrainian and Russian criminals have recently been FLOWN into the US since Putin's evil attack... MANY were expedited through immigration with no background checks... Same way the US did with Nazi scientists after WWII ended so that they could continue working on bio weapons (operation paperclip). So do not act like Americans are such good people.... Many are descendants of genocidal colonizers...... And refuse to push those traits our of your hearts.

He had to surrender passport in USA. On August 29, 2012, Cardwell attempted to get new passport under his birth name Paul David Sappington, but application was denied.

USA and most Western countries don't want criminals immigrating to their country, no reason they would be welcome in the Philippines, and Philippine Prisons are no picnic like they are in Canada , where I live, Prisons here are called " Club Fed" yes we even have golf courses in them...❤from Canada

Love your content especially how you do your research to make sure you get it right. You should consider a renaming your channel to Philippines Expat News or PEN. You know, I love the content Paul put out on his world zoom channel. A friend recently did a 3 month exploratory visit to the Philippines, he said that was one of his go to channels for info prior to his visit along with Paul, Steve and Calvin.

  • @25Soupy

I would tend to agree with you that he's just being sent back because he's an undesirable and they don't want him in the Philippines. Or he still owes money to the insurance company and HealthTech Management Services that paid back the hospital.
"In addition to the criminal penalties, Judge Freudenthal recently issued a civil judgment against Plake and Cardwell in a suit filed by Powell Valley Healthcare and its management company, HealthTech Management Services Inc. How much Cardwell and Plake will be ordered to pay - and how that money will be obtained - remains to be determined."

I personally think that The Philippines Bureau of Immigration has been quietly upgrading their systems and software to be online with the other countries around the World, especially with Interpol. They (Philippines Government Agencies) want to protect Filipino people especially women and children being exploited by EXPATS. Have you noticed that in the past year that The Philippines News have been reporting catching EXPATS getting stopped at the airport, detained, blacklisted and deported back to their country of origin?
So stopping unsavory characters coming to The Philippines is improving greatly unlike how it's been in the past years. Before they would catch the predators after they committed their crimes. Now they're stopping them from entering the country, committing their crimes and harming the Filipino people and Economy.
Well that's my personal opinion on this situation with Zoomer Paul. Trust me if and when he gets back to the US, and if he's allowed to get onto the internet specifically his TH-cam channel, he will not tell the Truth on what happened and why he was arrested. He'll spin the story that it was all a mistake based upon old data that wasn't updated in the system. We don't need these types of unsavory characters here in The Philippines at all... 🤙

Some countries will still refuse you entry even if you have served your time. One of those is NZ. If you have had a conviction, depending on how long etc, you need a special.character waiver to enter the country. I have heard guys being turned away from the airport for Crimea they have served already. Not familiar with his particular circumstances and the Philippines immigration regime, but now and then the past can come and haunt us. Sometimes we fill in forms, maybe on arrival or some other time, where there are ticks about criminal convictions and we are tempted to say no since we think a)that's in the past and b)nobody is checking those. Then all of sudden someone or something triggers a serious investigation and all.of sudden we are caught up again with a forgotten pass. Last but not least, we have to remember that at times, not just in the Philippines, the law doesn't necessarily work as in the books.

Cardwell has said on his channel that his, then, gf, Shiela was a cop in the Middle East. Philippines Extreme went to the jail 7 days ago and briefly spoke to Cardwell, confirmed that he was still in Cebu and in jail. He asked if he needed anything and Cardwell replied that his “Wife” is taking care of him. If true, he’s gotten married apparently to this women Sheila as he was still mentioning her on videos up to a few weeks ago.

    • @robmari497

Sheila is not a cop in Dubai as Cardwell said. When he interviewed Sheila on his World Zoom channel, Sheila said she worked for a private company with its Head Office in Budapest, Hungary. The number of years she said she worked there was the same as what Cardwell said she had worked as a police officer in Dubai. A check of the employee records of the company Sheila works for records her as a Project Coordinator at its Budapest Office. The company has a Dubai Office. Heaven forbid, Cardwell didn't tell the truth about Sheila's profession

in 1978 when my uncle got off FEDERAL PAROLE, convicted for sending drugs through the us mail from afganistan, almost immediately he got a passport so he could travel to columbia with a friend who was paying for everything to buy cocaine and smuggle it back, and one time they got caught, and that friend made a deal with the DEA to set a guy up for a cocaine bust, testify against him, and my uncle too!!!
passport rules have most likely changed since 1978
Philippine visa extension etc... when i was there and got married in cebu city by a judge, there were questions about felony convictions on some of the forms. there was NO problem for me as i gave a list of all my convictions etc...
ive never BEEN CONVICTED FOR AN ACT OF VIOLENCE, A SEX CRIME, OR A DRUG CRIME!
I WAS ARRESTED FOR POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE WITH INTENT TO DELIVER WHEN THEY SEARCHED MY HOUSE FOR STOLEN PROPERTY, BUT IT WAS NEVER EVEN MENTIONED IN ANY COURT APPEARANCE, BECAUSE THE PILLS BESIDE MY BED WERE CAFFEINE PILLS !!
just because i was never arrested for acts of violence, does NOT mean i was not a bad boy , it just means i never got caught!!
Philippines might have changed their rules since i was there, but it does not affect me as it is just too damn hot there for me!! thats why i live where it snows a lot!!!
