Hey guys! Just wanted to let you guys know I have read all your comments regarding the hierarchy in hell and how important that is to the series. I just unfortunately recorded my last 3 videos all in the same day so I won’t be able to acknowledge it until the next video. Just didn’t want you guys to think I was ignoring you LOL. Also I’ve seen several of ya’ll mention that copyright is more lenient for Helluva Boss but I actually got a lot of claims on my pilot reaction before I made the proper edits. I can try again with the next video but I did see other creators on reddit mentioning you can only show 10 seconds at a time to avoid copyright.
That's too bad!! I've noticed that a bunch of smaller channels lately have been getting hit with claims for helluva. It didn't used to be this way and the bigger channels seem to have no issue with it, so it's honestly perplexing. Do what's best for your channel though we understand! As always love your stuff
That's a shame. That didn't seem to be a problem until a little less than a year ago, Viv was super lenient. I guess. Something changed when the Hazbin pilot got picked up. Now a lot of smaller channels have been getting hit hard. Keep doing what you feel is best.

Fun fact: officially, the stellar scene at the start was entirely real, not illusion. Owl daddy used his magic and extensive astronomy knowledge to visit a dying star system just for the most epic lullaby ever.
The Emo phase is so universal even Charlie had it, there's a photo in the background of grumpy frowning Charlie in Hazbin, black hair streak and all. I really feel like Stolas steals the show, he's such a wholesome cinnamon roll. You know, despite being one of the most powerful and dangerous beings in hell.
Well, to be fair, both Charlie and Octavia have parents in strained relationships. Judging by how casual Octavia is in this episode, she seems pretty aware that their relationship wasn't great, even before they were straight up screaming at each other. Kids are way more perceptive than parents realize, and it's more common than you think for a child to realize their parents are not happy together, even if it doesn't become a shouting match. Emo phases are pretty common in households with strained parental relationships. There are other reasons for it, but that's a pretty solid connection, in this case. Even in more "amicable" situations, it's still traumatic to a child.
I love the whiplash reactors get when they see what a caring dad Stolas is. That opening song sequence is beautiful. The way he just casually opened a portal to a solar system that's about to supernova, just to have the perfect backdrop to sing to his daughter.
I swear, after the crass manic nonsense of the pilot and first episode this one blew my mind the first time I saw it, it's such a dramatic shift in tone. Probably my favorite episode.

Fizzarolli, Adam, and Sir Pentious actually all share a VA, which is probably where you’re hearing the connection. The VA is also the actor for Beetlejuice in the musical !!
When Blitzø was arguing with RoboFizz he mentioned he was a cheap robot version of a sellout jester. So implies there is a real Fizzaroli, but that there’s robot versions of him. In Hazbin Hotel, Val own a Fizz robot but he calls it Kitty. Also RoboFizz is voiced by Alex Brightman who does the voice for Adam and Sir Pentious in Hazbin Hotel! For the character here, he gives more of the Beetlejuice voice that he did on Broadway. Love your reaction and can’t wait for the next one. Be careful though because some people will throw spoilers as you get further into this series.
It is now my headcannon that Lillith referred to Lucifer by name around Charlie (instead of 'your dad/Dad') and "LuLu" was baby Charlie attempting to say Lucifer's name.
Stolas’ change from horny antagonist to single twink dad just trying his best for his daughter and just trying to find true love through a hookup is truly some of the best character development in any show
I think that sins are equal to each other in strength (it would be cool if Satan is stronger than Lucifer), and Lucifer is in fact a nominal ruler and he does not need unnecessary showdowns.

There is some kind of hierarchy though, so maybe not full on equal. More likely, it could be a popularity issue. People adore Mammon despite him being a scumbag, but prior the the Hazbin season finale people didn't have much respect for Lucifer, instead just following him begrudgingly because he was the undisputed most powerful entity in hell due to retaining angelic power

20:37 imps actually vary in size a lot, you may have noticed that the one Stolas' wife threw at him was even smaller than Moxxie and Millie, and later we see even smaller imps. I do believe Blitz is on the larger side of the spectrum, but there are larger imps
@falsnamae3511 Mox and Mills are maybe 4 foot at best, they're tiny compared to every human adult they've stood next to. The only way Blitz might exceed 6 feet is if he stood the right way and you include the horns.
@@sammyjc yep, it's in the scene right after "stayed gone" where the vee's are talking about sending a spy (sir pentious) to the hotel, it's the servant serving them drinks etc. You also see robo-fizz's in a few other places in hazbin iirc.
What's up with the dad's in the hellaverse? 😂 We have dads in Blitz, Stolas and Lucifer that try their best in their own way, but sometimes screw things up. But in the end their still love and support their daughters. We love them for that. Better than thats going to come in the later episodes...
In the case of Blitz and Stolas it is very touching because their own fathers were terrible to them, and therefore, they show all the love that they did not give them in their daughters. It wouldn't surprise me if it happens again with Lucifer.
A detail you didn’t mention that I think you might find fun to note is that at 20:21, the theme park ride Stolas runs after Octavia into is based on Lucifer’s head (and hat).
Just so you know, First of all you will learn later why Stolas likes the circus and the number one thing people seem to miss is that Fizzaroli in this episode is a robotic replica, not the real one.

Something you may like to know that isn't exactly told to us outright. Imps have a dimorphism where (afab) girl imps are born with black hair and their horns have thinner stripes while (amab) boy imps have thick white stripes on their horns.. without spoiling, knowing this can help you in the episodes to come.
I think Blitzo is actually five feet or more, pretty tall for an imp. Stolas might be ten or eleven feet. I've heard that when Hellaverse reactions get auto-flagged, the reactor can just dispute it and the video will be cleared. But understandably not everyone wants to deal with the hassle or take the risk. One method that seems to work well is to put a distortion filter over the video and/or cut away but leave the full-length audio intact. In the Octavia-being-terrorized-by-Fizzbot flashback you can actually see Blitzo for a moment, looking like the world's most miserable clown.
I feel like it's also a good idea to consider how both Hazbin and Helluva are against each other. Hazbin has to fix overpopulation while Helluva adds more sinners with most kills. Just something I found interesting!
17:40 notice how Blitz said robo-fizz is a copy of a jester. he is a copy of Fizzarolli who's a famous jester in hell, and is the real person Blitz has beef with, but it extends to robo-fizz because it apperantlly has the real Fizz's personality
Blitz is actually above average height for an imp and pretty comparable to an average-sized human. He's certainly much taller compared to Moxxie and Millie as you already noticed. Stolas is just a fricken lamppost. Owl man is like 10 to 11 ft. There's also a very valid reason why Stolas is so smitten with Blitz other than the whole devil may cry attitude, which Stolas is very much into. But more about their relationship will come to light as the show progresses.

In case you didn’t realize Lululand is the first time we leave the Pride ring. Lululand is in the greed ring that is why it has a green sky, every ring has a different colored sky. Pride: is red Wrath: is orange Gluttony: is yellow Greed: is green Lust: is blue (dark blue, like night) Envy: is purple Sloth: is pink If you’re ever wondering where an episode is taking place look at the color of the sky.

The reason Fizzaroli sounds like Adam is cause Alex Brightman plays both characters (plus the actual, non-robot, non-Freddy Fazbear Fizzaroli) And by the way, the titles you have are so entertaining XD I absolutely agree with the FNAF thing
So alongside the design Robo-Fizz may remind you of Adam because they have the same voice actor, Alex Brightman also known for his stint as Beetlejuice on Broadway. Bryce Pinkham voices Stolas and also has a rather accomplished musical theater career with a Tony nomination or two and a Grammy win. Octavia is voiced by Olivia Wilbert Weed who has been in Heathers and the Broadway production of Mean Girls, I'm still holding out hope for a Stolas-Via duet someday.

The Ars Goetia are extensive list of 72 demons from a late medieval grimoire on how to do sorcery, they've got this whole hierarcy thing with Kings, Princes, Marquises, knights, earls and Dukes. Stolas is a prince. Kings are known demons such as Baal, Asmodeus or Paimon. Stolas is described as crowned owl or raven with long legs. The others aren't necessarilly owlishly described but most in the show carry some resemblance of birds. The ars Goetia was one of the like 5 ars in the grimoire (named the Lesser Key of Solomon). Stolas is a herbalist and astrologist, the latter of which is seen in the show. The other 4 ars include like 40 spirits and Angels. The Ars Paulina has 24 of those 40 and another 160 spirits that stand for degrees on the zodiac. Overall, it's a complicated mess. Non-canon Judaism/Christianity is weird and really complicated at times.
Funny that you mentioned that Fizzaroli reminds you of Adam since they actually have the same voice actor! Adam, Sir Pentious, and Fizzaroli are all voiced by Alex Brightman (who also plays Beetlejuice!)

The whole sequence with Moxie and failing to knock down the target in order to win a pink “thing” (elephant) is a reference to Dark Man although such a situation is a common comedy trope and also seen in Despicable Me among other shows and movies.
I love that you can read so much into Stolas fumbling his words with via, with everything we know about Stolas now I feel it’s something like “I felt alone, she’s always been so distant, I haven’t been happy, we weren’t in love”

What exactly is going on with Lulu world isn't known (beyond it being in the Pride ring) and we thought Hazbin would answer it but it didn't, however Looloo land is in the Greed ring which you can see by the green sky and green flames and Sinners can't be there so maybe it's safer for hellborn. We do know someone named Mammon beat Lucifer in a legal battle to keep Looloo land running from the legal contract but by this time we knew little else.
Stolas as a demon is supposed to be an astronomer who studies the stars. Also, he has good knowledge of plants. So I thought the show portrayed that part of his character well. Always having space themes around him and such
Did you know that Luna is voiced by Erica Lindbeck who voices Futaba in the English version of the Persona 5 games and anime she also voices in a bunch of other games and anime and next episode will have another great English voice actress from games and anime (and some other things but I only know her for her dubbing work.)
Stolas is getting chewed by his wife for his affair with Blitzo, sees Octavia and goes, "I need to fix my relationship with my daughter. Oh, I know! I'll take her to her favorite theme park! Let me just arrange for security." And then proceeds to call up his fboy. 😒
The song at the beginning is what got me into watching this series and then hazbin hotel when it came out, saw the video of it somewhere else on the internet and it was so nice I wanted to see what it was all about.
"I hope we get to see more of the bird guy in this one" at the start of an episode pretty much all about Stolas made me so happy for you! :D Your comments about wanting to see Charlie and Vaggie in the background makes me think that if Emily ever comes to Hell that Charlie will totally take Emily and Vaggie too unless she sits out again to Lulu World lol, and I would love to see that! :D
Just in case you were wondering. The theory behind why Stolas brings Octavia to Loo Loo Land and not Lu Lu Land is because it's probably safer. Actual Lu Lu Land is located in the Pride Ring, meaning that sinners are allowed to go there, obviously if they pay for it. And the thing about the Pride Ring is that there are probably a lot more angelic weapons up there cause of the extermination happening on that Ring of Hell. We find out in a later episode that Stolas and the rest of his family can only be killed by angelic weapons. Also the Pride Ring based on both shows so far seems like the most dangerous Ring to be on, due to the sinners being there. Who are a lot more dangerous at least relative to the rest of hell due the lawless nature of the Pride Ring allowing them to do whatever they want and the sinners immortality (yes, the other rings of hell probably have some sort of more official universal laws in place). So Stolas probably took Octavia to Loo Loo Land because that place is in the Greed Ring, and thus is relatively safer than going to the Pride Ring full of crazy sinners and angelical weapons that could hurt/kill them. :)

I think Blitzo is actually five feet or more, pretty tall for an imp. Stolas might be ten or eleven feet.
I've heard that when Hellaverse reactions get auto-flagged, the reactor can just dispute it and the video will be cleared. But understandably not everyone wants to deal with the hassle or take the risk. One method that seems to work well is to put a distortion filter over the video and/or cut away but leave the full-length audio intact.
In the Octavia-being-terrorized-by-Fizzbot flashback you can actually see Blitzo for a moment, looking like the world's most miserable clown.

I feel like it's also a good idea to consider how both Hazbin and Helluva are against each other. Hazbin has to fix overpopulation while Helluva adds more sinners with most kills. Just something I found interesting!

Blitz is actually above average height for an imp and pretty comparable to an average-sized human. He's certainly much taller compared to Moxxie and Millie as you already noticed. Stolas is just a fricken lamppost. Owl man is like 10 to 11 ft.
There's also a very valid reason why Stolas is so smitten with Blitz other than the whole devil may cry attitude, which Stolas is very much into. But more about their relationship will come to light as the show progresses.

So alongside the design Robo-Fizz may remind you of Adam because they have the same voice actor, Alex Brightman also known for his stint as Beetlejuice on Broadway. Bryce Pinkham voices Stolas and also has a rather accomplished musical theater career with a Tony nomination or two and a Grammy win. Octavia is voiced by Olivia Wilbert Weed who has been in Heathers and the Broadway production of Mean Girls, I'm still holding out hope for a Stolas-Via duet someday.

The Ars Goetia are extensive list of 72 demons from a late medieval grimoire on how to do sorcery, they've got this whole hierarcy thing with Kings, Princes, Marquises, knights, earls and Dukes. Stolas is a prince. Kings are known demons such as Baal, Asmodeus or Paimon. Stolas is described as crowned owl or raven with long legs. The others aren't necessarilly owlishly described but most in the show carry some resemblance of birds. The ars Goetia was one of the like 5 ars in the grimoire (named the Lesser Key of Solomon). Stolas is a herbalist and astrologist, the latter of which is seen in the show. The other 4 ars include like 40 spirits and Angels. The Ars Paulina has 24 of those 40 and another 160 spirits that stand for degrees on the zodiac. Overall, it's a complicated mess. Non-canon Judaism/Christianity is weird and really complicated at times.
Hazbin Hotel, season 1 ep 5... when Lucifer takes Charlie into a pocket dimension for a fly, that's LULU World. it's like circus themed.

Season 2, Episode 1 goes into more detail about Stolas and Blitzo's relationship. Everything really starts to make sense then.
The whole sequence with Moxie and failing to knock down the target in order to win a pink “thing” (elephant) is a reference to Dark Man although such a situation is a common comedy trope and also seen in Despicable Me among other shows and movies.

What exactly is going on with Lulu world isn't known (beyond it being in the Pride ring) and we thought Hazbin would answer it but it didn't, however Looloo land is in the Greed ring which you can see by the green sky and green flames and Sinners can't be there so maybe it's safer for hellborn.
We do know someone named Mammon beat Lucifer in a legal battle to keep Looloo land running from the legal contract but by this time we knew little else.
Stolas as a demon is supposed to be an astronomer who studies the stars. Also, he has good knowledge of plants. So I thought the show portrayed that part of his character well. Always having space themes around him and such
Did you know that Luna is voiced by Erica Lindbeck who voices Futaba in the English version of the Persona 5 games and anime she also voices in a bunch of other games and anime and next episode will have another great English voice actress from games and anime (and some other things but I only know her for her dubbing work.)

The song at the beginning is what got me into watching this series and then hazbin hotel when it came out, saw the video of it somewhere else on the internet and it was so nice I wanted to see what it was all about.

Just in case you were wondering. The theory behind why Stolas brings Octavia to Loo Loo Land and not Lu Lu Land is because it's probably safer. Actual Lu Lu Land is located in the Pride Ring, meaning that sinners are allowed to go there, obviously if they pay for it. And the thing about the Pride Ring is that there are probably a lot more angelic weapons up there cause of the extermination happening on that Ring of Hell. We find out in a later episode that Stolas and the rest of his family can only be killed by angelic weapons. Also the Pride Ring based on both shows so far seems like the most dangerous Ring to be on, due to the sinners being there. Who are a lot more dangerous at least relative to the rest of hell due the lawless nature of the Pride Ring allowing them to do whatever they want and the sinners immortality (yes, the other rings of hell probably have some sort of more official universal laws in place). So Stolas probably took Octavia to Loo Loo Land because that place is in the Greed Ring, and thus is relatively safer than going to the Pride Ring full of crazy sinners and angelical weapons that could hurt/kill them. :)
