Moxxie and Millie are both bisexual. Blitzo is pansexual. Millie's sister Sally Mae is transgender, whixh you can see because she has the male imp horns instead of the female imp horns. Striker is half Loanshark. He’s got the target eyes that all Loansharks have, he has the turned up shark nose rather than the imp’s flat face, his horns are shaped like the Loanshark head fins, and he has extra fins on his much thicker than average tail.

Sallie May, Millie's sister is transgender. You'll notice her horns are black and white like the male's instead of solid black. I love when shows have subtle representation like this.
That's not how you tell. Male imps have white hair and thick white stripes on their horns,. Female imps have black hair and thin white stripes on their horns, they are NOT solid black. I cannot stress enough how excellent and intimidating Walking Dead actor, Norman Reedus is as Striker. Vivzie got some great talent to come aboard, and he nails the performance. I also love all the sweet moments between Moxxie and Millie. They're so cute together.

To be fair to Loona, I'm sure Blitzo calls her for dumb stuff all the time. It would be smart of them to have a "this is serious" whistle code. Stolas probably hasn't heard a word Stella says at the dinner table in years, and tbh I can't blame him. He's reading a book called "Imps in the Sheets" too. You misunderstood the heart eyes: they were for the horse, not for Striker, because Blitzø is a horse girl. "I can't tell how Blitzø feels about Moxxie." ...you will next episode. I'll say nothing more. Stolas is of the Ars Goetia. That's basically the noble rank in hell, but the name is based on a real book. The title translates to "The Art of Summoning Demons", and is part of the Little Key of Solomon (often mistranslated as the Lesser Key of Solomon), a series of books about demonology on which a lot of the Hazbin/Helluva universe bases its lore.
Fun Fact: this episode was released nearly 3 years ago, and Carmine wasn't even introduced as a full character yet. That's some impressive foreshadowing!
Stolas is an actual demon repertoried in the IRL demonology book "The Ars Goetia", he is said to teach astronomy and be knowledgeable about herbs, plants, and precious stones. also I think it wasn't a projection in the last episode, the book can open portals to the mortal realm, not just hearth and demons probably don't need to breath, at least not high demon like Stolas, pretty sure he straight up went to a dying solar system just to have a nice backdrop for his lullaby
Blitz later as Stolas is hooting upsetly giving him the silent treatment for ignoring him all week and not taking him on cute cowboy dates: Stolas I SWEAR I was looking at the horse! We talked about this, you can't expect me to not heart eyes a horse!
Well the Harvest Moon is an actual Farmer's moment in the Fall. Generally when the moon is at its brightest, and helps farmers harvest their summer crops longer. So that is why the game is called that, along with the title of the episode (rather then the episode relating to the game). There is also a lot of folklore/Myths attached to the Harvest Moon.
4:38 Millie casually implying Loona is just a pet, hard to tell if she's even aware of how rude she was, hellhounds are below imps so that attitude may just be ingrained into her. 11:22 You can tell by the horns and hair that Sally May is a trans woman (also voiced by a trans woman), this is such a nice detail seen throughout the show on other Imps. 10:32 I think Striker lied too and the guns would of worked, he is definitely the type to make others look bad so he looks better. 16:15 Yeah we didn't know about Carmilla Carmine when this episode came out, a nice foreshadowing. 22:50 The gold tooth is a common aesthetic just like most characters also have something around their neck like a tie or choker, also deals can't occur with hellborn as they lack a human soul.
Yeah, Moxie could easily shoot this hog in the eyes, which clearly have no shell. But I doubt that Millie's parents would approve of such a move. So it's a lose-lose situation.
The last bit isn't true from what we've seen. Charlie worries in the HH pilot about making a deal, Vaggie tell her not to make one, Lucifer specifically raised her not to take shit from other demons seemingly tied to the notion of deals given context, Charlie of course does make a deal with Alastor in HH for something other than her soul while it is also clearly stated she is at least assumed to have a soul and to be able to "sell" said soul by both Vaggie and Alastor. Alastor has been an Overlord for upwards of 70 years, he'd probably say it outright if he knew Hellborns didn't have souls to sell. Besides "selling your soul" seems to refer specifically to just agreeing to long term servitude in line with the terms of an agreed upon contract, which a literal metaphysical soul isn't really necessary for. Presumably the nebulous unknown whatever that happens to Sinners when they die in hell is the same thing that happens to hellborns, except maybe the redemption possibility and even then, we don't know for sure. _Personally_ I like to headcanon anyone who dies in hell gets reincarnated as a hellborn and just nobody knows because memory retention isn't a common thing, so anybody claiming to remember a past life is just considered crazy, and demons believing in it is just waved off as a way to cope with the finite nature of life and death. There's no evidence for that other than them not knowing what happens for sure in universe, I just think it'd be super neat and cute and sad.
@@Lanoira13Unfortunately for your point the crew have stated in the past that hellborn can't make soul deals because they have no human soul. Charlie is only called hellborn as a technicality because that's where she was physically born but she isn't actually one of them, she even bleeds red like the Sinners not black like the hellborn.
@@Gaterman I did a quick google and I couldn't find a source for that being confirmed, just fans speculating. Could you provide one? Even assuming it is true they confirmed that, I'm willing to call BS. They've also claimed Sinners "can't" have children for the reasoning "it would be crazy if they could and hell is a punishment", and yet Lilith is supposedly Charlie's birth mother, despite being a Sinner. If anything I'd be inclined to say there are probably rules forbidding hellborns making deals intended to protect them from Sinners/Overlords taking advantage of them (or affecting Hell more broadly outside Pride), but Charlie is high enough in the hierarchy she can disregard those rules as do as she wishes with her own life. It would be pretty absurd if Sinners could not only have kids, but their kids have human souls, so they have to probably magically keep Sinners from having kids to keep innocent HUMAN souls from being born in hell, and they AREN'T using that as evidence the system is fucked up. Lilith couldn't have had her while alive because we see Charlie as a baby and Sinners can't age, and she's clearly a demon. If Lilith or another Sinner didn't have a part in creating her, then that just throws away the one reason she COULD technically be Sinner adjacent. It still stands that the only part of deals that seemingly has ANYTHING to do with souls, is the inherent magical ability to jerk the signer around on a spectral chain and maybe magically force them to abide by the terms of the deal. So yeah, maybe someone of a Hellborn Species couldn't do all that, again hard maybe, but they could still MAKE a deal by the same terms as Sinners... they would just then have the freedom to flee and break the deal, which just lends all the more to my whole "if that's the case it's probably a legal thing to protect them" point. Side note just because it's less important, I couldn't find any confirmation that Charlie is supposed to intentionally canonically have red blood either. She's supposedly bleeding in the HH Finale, but we never explicitly see wounds. We also see what seem to be loansharks in the show, and though seeming to be relatively identical to Hellborn loansharks in appearance and occupation, they bleed red too. (Edit: There's also an imp getting stabbed in Alastor's commercial and the imp is still bleeding red.) So I'm tempted to think maybe (now probably) the HH team just didn't want to deal with Hellborn blood in general. Again even if she does have red blood, the argument above is my response, but somehow I feel like if Charlie wasn't literally Hellborn, Heaven would've/should use that to claim she wasn't exempt from Exterminations since she's technically a Sinner.
@@Lanoira13Claims like that are from the old streams and unfortunately some of them aren't even viewable anymore, the one about children definitely came from a old stream were Viv said it was a additional punishment. Lilith having Charlie was also said in the same stream where Sinners can't have kids implying even way back then that Lilith and Charlie were special in some way, considering Lilith was sent to hell and not killed she may not actually be a Sinner or Lucifer helped make her an exception to the Sinner's infertility. For the blood apparently those sharks and hounds are Sinners not hellborn because their little horns which was a really dumb decision, even the Imp horns and similar looking horns are mostly on Sinners too (I'm pretty sure there's only like 1 hound and 3 Imps in the show). Recently someone on Twitter was discussing the cannibals and if they were hellborn, someone who works on the show said they bleed red because they're Sinners and Viv liked this comment indicating blood is still a valid detail in Hazbin hotel. Also red blood only appears on Charlie after she confronts Adam showing that it is indeed her red blood since he bleeds gold. Well I said Charlie is not really a hellborn she definitely isn't a Sinner either. Sinners are human souls who died and were sent to hell (which Charlie and maybe Lilith are not) but hellborn just means being born in hell which Charlie does fall under and why she counts under the legal definition for the extermination even if she is her own special thing, a nephilim.
7:06 Don't know for sure, but I'm pretty sure Blitz getting all flustered while explaining how the relationship between himself and Stolas was just "transactional" was like the tsundere "i-it's not like I like you or anything! B-baka!" Lol. Notice Millie and Moxxie giving each other knowing/teasing looks in the background during this scene
One very subtle, hilarious detail is the book Stolas is reading at the dinner table. “Imps in the Sheets”. 🤣 Just a big FU to Stella on that choice (though not great to be reading it in front of his teenage daughter…)
8:45 In the episode with Verosika, Millie mentions that Moxxie would want to know what sex with Michael Crawford would be like - accompanied by a moment of extremely recognizable organ music. Michael Crawford was the original actor for the Phantom (of the Opera). So yeah, Moxxie's a theatre fan.
Fun fact: imp horns are gender binary coded: AMAB is Thick White and Thick Black stripes, but AFAB are Thin White and Thick Black stripes. So, Millie’s Sister Sally Mae, is a Trans Female. And if you watch BG characters, you notice other trans characters (based off horns)
So Stryker was voiced by Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead, The Boondock Saints). Stryker also seems to be kinda designed off of Angel Eyes from The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.
Not enough characters are ace or coded ace anywhere, in any media. It would be nice to see one that wasn’t a villain, but I’ll take what I can get. So far our possibilities are Striker, another character who pops up much later, and Alastor from Hazbin, and Vivziepop is unusually good with LGBTQ+ representation, so that’s kinda sad.
Stolas continues his quest to be the most powerful bottom in the universe. I love him, but dang he’s as clueless about how much control he has and has used in this relationship as Blitzø is about Stolas catching feelings.
Well, it is the grimoire that's the ticket to the living world, not necessarily Stolas, if Stolas were to die Blitz'd likely be able to just keep the book and not have to go through Stolas for it, wouldn't he? So yeah, Blitz didn't have to keep Striker from killing Stolas for the sake of his business. I'd say he definitely cares more than he lets on about him. ...Also, when he was talking with Striker about his arrangement with Stolas earlier...he *really* didn't HAVE to say the whole "But he's not-- We're not-- It's a _transactional-_ ". I'm pretty sure Striker had *already* thought it was purely transactional, the way he framed it in the first place was purely like it was Blitz scamming Stolas. There was no implication that Striker had thought they were properly in a relationship and in love or any of that. Blitz started denying it without even having been accused of it, and stammering all the while to boot. 👀
The only reason Blitzo is able to use the grimiore is because Stolas is allowing him to use it in secret. If Stolas were to die, Blitzo would lose his intermediary for using the grimiore, as the Ars Goetia family would definitely retrieve it and would definitely not allow him to use it.
I’m pretty sure that Stolas technically doesn’t own the grimoire. It’s given to him, almost assigned to him, by his father, for the specific duties he has. And just a guess, Octavia wouldn’t necessarily inherit it, either. That’s why he really, really, REALLY shouldn’t loan it out to anyone.
Fun fact: Imps are dimorphic, standard (afab) female imps look like Millie with small white striped horns and black hair and (amab) male imps look like Moxie, though mixed marriages create interesting imps like Striker..Knowing this, you can appreciate how wonderful Millie's family is.
Oh yeah I can already tell you Blitzo is a huge mega Brony. He loves Horses WAY too much. For a while they had official roleplaying accouns on Instagram for the characters of the show, and like half of Blitz' posts are about horses.
I thought striker was a great villain and having a weapon that’s able to kill Stolas solidified that he’s a looming threat. I never even guessed it would be Stolas’s wife who hired him to kill him.
She's actually in the old Hazbin pilot, as are her daughters (and...most of the overlords actually, rosie, the dinosaur one, zestial, the vees, you see pretty much all of them in the opening sequence. (carmilla is the one who throws open some curtains after charlie's end of purge fireworks, and her daughters are cleaning up rosie's....dead husband? a few moments later as she's crossing out his name on her boutique's sign) None of them are referred to by name, but they do appear on screen all the same.
Here’s a fun fact: All imps eyes are black pupils and only get red pupils added when under high emotion like moxie got it when blitz was going over all the reason moxie need to round up the pig and you can see the red with his panic, Millie got it in her anger when attacking striker but if you notice Blitz always has red in his meaning he’s always on high emotion and you’ll see why in the next few episodes.
The “Harvest moon” is a millennias old term across many cultures, which was the the term for particularly bright and near moons that occurred during the end of the harvest season on warm, clear, nights and allowed workers to comfortably and safely harvest the crop after the times when they would normally have had to call the work off for the day. Quite often this moon is described as a pumpkin like orange moon as well.
Its kinda funny going back to this show, after Hazbin came out, or from the prospective from someone like you who watched Hazbin first, and all the little easter eggs like the use of angelic tec for weapons. Which makes me curious cause it sounds like hellborn such as Moxie seem to be aware that heavenly weapons have the power to not just kill sinners but also hellborn deamons as high in hierarchy as royal deamons. But sinners themselves are/not aware of that fact. Also didnt realise that Stolas little musical motif was here (no spoilers but that will come into play later)
1:16 You learn more about what Stolas's job is in this universe, but as fun trivia: in real life demonology, Stolas is a demon whose specialty is sharing knowledge about astronomy and botany. 8:05 Not that it matters, it's just bonus trivia, but it's implied that Sallie Mae is a transwoman; her horns are striped, which are typical to male imps, and she's voiced by a transwoman. It's great that her family has clearly totally accepted the transition, and narratively one can't even tell unless you paid attention to tiny details like that, so it's easy to accept the character whether or not you know. 19:10 If you want to look into it, he said "Ars Goetia" (as in the 72 demons of King Solomon).
vivzie has been teasing s2e8 with little clips on social media too, so by then we'll probably have another episode or two, so long as she's not too busy working on season 2 of hazbin (which she's said is actually pretty deep into production already)
In a way, this episode can technically be a clue for Hazbin Hotel's whole mystery on how to kill Angels during season 1. If you watch Helluva Boss first, you are aware of the concept of blessed weapons and by proxy, that there is a way to kill what are supposed to be inmortal beings. So while not certain until the end of season 1 in Hazbin, it's not too much of a stretch to pull the conclussion that the same can be applied to Angels.
yep, it kinda drove me nuts while watching it, since it seemed the obvious solution. And like, sure moxxie knows more about them as a firearms expert, but he lives in pride too, so you'd think other people in the pride ring would know beyond JUST Carmilla.
The cool thing about the "VivzieVerse" is that it's all the same Hell. Hazbin Hotel takes place in the Pride Ring, which is the highest ring of Hell (hence, closest to Heaven). Despite each ring having it's own "sin", all sinners are sent to Pride and are not allowed to traverse between the rings. However, Hell-born such as Imps, Sins, Hellhounds, and everyone else are allowed full travel between all the rings. The hellborn are exempt from the yearly extermination. Lute even says to Charlie "The only reason you're still here is because Daddy gave you and your Hellborn kind a pardon from an exorcist blade"
Since I haven't seen anyone point it out yet. This episode isn't a reference to the Harvest Moon games. Harvest Moon is a real thing around the start of autumn, when the moon starts shining almost as soon as the sun sets. Farmers got to work and harvest their summer crops for longer hours, back before electricity became a thing.
Sadly, they swapped the actor for striker. After this episode, many people may not even realize this, but Norman Reedus actually voiced striker in this and did sing that song "sweet victory" but i can't remember why they recasted him,
25:16 Speaking of full versions of songs, after (almost) every episode during the credits, there will be the full version or second-half of the songs featured in the episodes! I recommend hearing them all out! :)
Stolas is a "real" demon with actual lore unrelated to this show. You can find a lot of info on him if you search online. He is known to be very knowledgeable and is mostly associated with astronomy and botany
You’re now in easily the best stretch of the show. Episodes 5-8 of season 1 are genuinely fantastic and it makes me wish the show stayed at this level of consistency.
Keep in mind though, how Stolas X Blitz relationship really is. Rich vs poor, Royalty versus peasant, Boss vs employee. It's very easy to get on "team Stolas" so to speak and completely ignore how Stolas treats Blitz throughout the show. We get to see Stolas actually pining for Blitz, but Blitz only ever gets to see things like Stolas calling him his "Little Imp." or other thing enforcing the status difference between them.
I think it’s more ignorant than intentional on Stolas’ part, and obviously there’s a lot more to it, but he has no idea how condescending “little imp” and that kind of thing is. The only intimate nickname he’s ever had is “Stole-ass,” “imp sucker,” and similar, so at least he means it in a positive way, right? Nah, that’s really not enough, Stolas. Please be better. He needs a learning curve, for sure.
Stolas is definitely a combo of sheltered and book smart. Little trivia note that hasn't been in the series proper so not a spoiler: Striker is a hybrid. We don't know what the other half is, but it might explain his attitude towards other Imps and more powerful demons.
Love your reactions!! Striker's such a fun villain, and Norman Reedus clearly had a blast voicing him :D Looking forward to the next ep, it's one of my favorites of season 1!

So couple of facts from this episode, one of which is worldbuilding: - Striker is voiced by Norman Reedus, who's mostly known b his role of Deryl in Walking Dead series and his main role in Death Stranding game. And honestly, Helluva Boss likes to introduce some characters with star actors behind them. For example, Fizzarolli was voiced by Alexander Brightman, who plays Beetlejuice on Broadway and who also voiced Adam and Sir pentious in Hazbin Hotel, and this episode has Norman Reedus. Also, epsidoe 8 of Season 1 was delayed because of copyright issues with one of the Star's agency. Wont spoil who that will be, but I'd suggest to keep attention to the credits. Sadly Norman wont voice Striker in fuure appearences. I'm not exactly sure why, but I've heard it's because of schedule problems. - So, Sally May, Millie's sister, is trans. It's evident by her horns and strands of hair. In short, imps born into male sex have always white hair and horns evenly colored into black and white stripes. Female imps on other hand always have dark hair and black horns with thin white stripes. That's the only way to identify which imps are non-gender comforming, the show doesn't shove these facts into your face.
Gosh everytime I watch this episode I love it more and more and now it's my favorite episode of S1. The intro of Striker, the Moxxie centered plot, the badass protective Blitzo. Just everything I love!! Also yes Weeby!! Same!! Huge Stolitz shipper ❤
Just know for details, Blizt reallyyyyyyy likes horses. Like a lot., When he bought the marijuana horse or other subtle things that will come up later on. I still don't know why but mannnnn he gets dreamy for them lol. I watched this show a lot
If i have to summarize Blitzo's feeling towards Moxie and Millie, i'd say he is the kind of boss who likes to fuck with his employees, figuratively...... and VERY literally
Pretty much all your questions about some of the characters and about stolas' relationship with Stella will be answered later. But one note, the gold tooth connection with Striker and Angel/Val is a coincidence since hellborn demons can't make conrtacts with overlords as they have no soul to bind them therefore only sinners who are confinded to the Pride Ring can make deals with overlords.
That doesn't necessarily mean she's wrong, it's a cool connection that might end up being something! Overlords & sinners are both more powerful than imps, and Striker has a real axe to grind against the leadership of Hell for reasons we don't know yet. It would be neat if Helluva and Hazbin tied together in that somehow. (Not sure how the logistics of that would work out between Vivzie and A24 though)
8:00 they never straight up say it, but Sally May is trans. you can tell by her having "male horns" (which is problematic and perpetuates the "we can always tell" mentality, but its still nice to have a trans character)
True to their description in the ARs Goetia, Stolas is a teacher, involved with Astrology. He also commands a number of legions, but I forget the exact number.
I still can’t believe they got Norman Reedus for this episode. Given who they’ve gotten for these shows since then it may not seem like a big deal but at the time I was blown away when this first came out.
Blitz had heart eyes for the horse, not Striker. And he was blushing during the transactional intercourse joke because he was feeling his feels about Stolas, not Striker. Also don't just take one side like ';team stolas' In Blitz;s eyes, Stolas is using him. So how he's acting is totally explainable.

Sallie May has black hair with a little patch of white so it's obvious she dyed it black and the stripes on her horns are thick

I cannot stress enough how excellent and intimidating Walking Dead actor, Norman Reedus is as Striker. Vivzie got some great talent to come aboard, and he nails the performance. I also love all the sweet moments between Moxxie and Millie. They're so cute together.
NORMAN REEDUS IS STRIKER?!
Helluva Boss has to be the one series in youtube where famous voice actors or even just actors appear out of nowhere and play their roles spectacularly. How the heck did Viv get these people

Blitz’s heart eyes were because of the horse that Stryker was riding. Later you see Blitz laying on the ground watching the horse eat
Someday we're going to get the full Helluva Boss soundtrack, it has been promised!
No way the soundtrack has fr been promised?!? That’s so exciting
I think Blitz’s reaction when Striker arrived was towards the fire horse.
Would be on brand for him XD
Yeah
It was 90% the horse. Lol
Her as I'm watching: "Do I help him, or watch this new Markiplier video that was just posted?"
Markiplier literally 5 seconds earlier: **Posts "A Difficult Game About Climbing - Part 2"**
I noticed the same thing LOL
He's so extra 😂
herbs, plants, precious stones.. astronomy.. am I Stolas?
I love how Blitzo has such a soft spot for Luna, it's adorable
Milly's sister Sally May is transgender. You can see that on her horns, they have the same shape as the horns of male imps. Love the representation. ❤
And is voiced by Morgana Ignis, who is transgender herself, and both are so freaking gorgeous. Sallie Mae is 100% my wifu
She can also cover up murders well. That's hot.
And same strip pattern
It’s Sallie Mae
Like the American student loan company
@@tahraethestoryteller6079The voice actress, Morgana Ignis, has spelled it as “Sallie May”. I think it’s acceptable.
weeby... the heart eyes were for the horse
Blitz is more "Mr. Steal Your Horse"...
Blitzo's eyes looked like that because of the horse, not the hunk!
I hat to be that guy, but it's Striker with an I.
Blitzo wasn't making eyes at Striker. Those eyes were reserved for his horse, lol.
14:36
"He may not even be interested in women"
Actually, I don't think it's been confirmed yet, but a lot of fans have theorized Stryker is asexual.
it would explain a lot actually...
Good to know that i'm not the only one who think he is asexual
Not enough characters are ace or coded ace anywhere, in any media. It would be nice to see one that wasn’t a villain, but I’ll take what I can get. So far our possibilities are Striker, another character who pops up much later, and Alastor from Hazbin, and Vivziepop is unusually good with LGBTQ+ representation, so that’s kinda sad.
ik im like 7 months late but that would be aromatic 😔
@@ZazzilasArden Hmm, fair
And because this came out a couple of years ago, it's actually the first reference to Camilla Carmine.
She's actually in the old Hazbin pilot, as are her daughters (and...most of the overlords actually, rosie, the dinosaur one, zestial, the vees, you see pretty much all of them in the opening sequence. (carmilla is the one who throws open some curtains after charlie's end of purge fireworks, and her daughters are cleaning up rosie's....dead husband? a few moments later as she's crossing out his name on her boutique's sign)
None of them are referred to by name, but they do appear on screen all the same.
@@bryanmoberg8408 The daughters are even collecting Angelic weapons.
I'm so sad that Norman Reedus only voiced Striker in this episode, he was so good!
Im loving these reactions. So full of energy and amazing thoughts.
Striker was such a cool antagonist.
I just love this ep so much because of blitzo’s horse obsession coming through more
dude I remember playing Harvest Moon The Lost Valley and being so confused by it as a kid

You learn more about Stolas’ Grimoire in S2 E1, you’re about 3 eps away. Just be prepared to cry.
Fun fact, millie’s sister in the background is seen with the same horn pattern as the male imps, that’s because shes trans!
After the cherubs ep i really think all the episodes are peak fiction and I hope you enjoy them Weeby
SPOILERS
Stella yelling at Striker to kill Stolas when *she's right in front of him* will never not be funny! 🤣
3:35 She understands him so well.
Omg omg omg for as much as you were focused on it I NEVER NOTICED Blitzø making heart eyes at Striker's horse, I'm DEAD
With how much you love Stolas, I am both excited and very afraid for you to get to Just Look My Way once you get caught up.
vivzie has been teasing s2e8 with little clips on social media too, so by then we'll probably have another episode or two, so long as she's not too busy working on season 2 of hazbin (which she's said is actually pretty deep into production already)
AAA this is easily one of my favorite episodes, I love it sm.
Ars Goetia is also the medieval book Stolas is from.
It seems right up Stella's alley to put a hit on someone right in front of their face.
Stolas is a character from mythology, and his domain is Astrology. Thus, his power set.
And botany!
After this episode, many people may not even realize this, but Norman Reedus actually voiced striker in this and did sing that song "sweet victory" but i can't remember why they recasted him,
Probably because it costs a lot of money to keep his voice lol. Famous actors aren't cheap!
He was super expensive and he wasalso busy with walking dead during the time of the production and recording for Western energy
25:16
Speaking of full versions of songs, after (almost) every episode during the credits, there will be the full version or second-half of the songs featured in the episodes!

I love that Sallie May is transgender and her family fully sees her as a girl.
It’s Mae with an ‘e’ not a ‘y’
@@tahraethestoryteller6079The voice actor has spelled it with a ‘y’.
I’ve seen it spelled both ways. However, if you look at the end credits of who voiced the characters they spell her name Sallie May
I love your reactions :D
Keep in mind though, how Stolas X Blitz relationship really is. Rich vs poor, Royalty versus peasant, Boss vs employee. It's very easy to get on "team Stolas" so to speak and completely ignore how Stolas treats Blitz throughout the show. We get to see Stolas actually pining for Blitz, but Blitz only ever gets to see things like Stolas calling him his "Little Imp." or other thing enforcing the status difference between them.
💯
I think it’s more ignorant than intentional on Stolas’ part, and obviously there’s a lot more to it, but he has no idea how condescending “little imp” and that kind of thing is. The only intimate nickname he’s ever had is “Stole-ass,” “imp sucker,” and similar, so at least he means it in a positive way, right?
Nah, that’s really not enough, Stolas. Please be better.
He needs a learning curve, for sure.
It's a good theory but no, Imps don't have souls so it's impossible for Striker to make a contract with Valentino like Angel did
4:00 that is actually canon
So...nobody going to bring up the fact that Striker is voiced by Norman Readus?
I did

what was funny to me this episode was:
*Blitz about to get killed and calling for Loona's help*
Loona: 😒
It’s all fun and games, until Daryl from The Walking Dead pulls up on a flaming horse.
Also fizzy is his own character. So that sign was for the real imp fizzarolli not the bot
Weeby calling Blitz a Bronie and being waaayyyy closer than she thought. 😂

7:20 aww man bc of the lil misunderstanding (which there are comments about) is gonna carry over to the "kill the unkillable" pitch thing
8:35 i like that he still knows the word thespian just fine
So couple of facts from this episode, one of which is worldbuilding:
- Striker is voiced by Norman Reedus, who's mostly known b his role of Deryl in Walking Dead series and his main role in Death Stranding game.
Fun Fact the guy who voices Striker in this episode is Norman Reedus the guy who plays Daryl Dixon in the Walking Dead
If i have to summarize Blitzo's feeling towards Moxie and Millie, i'd say he is the kind of boss who likes to fuck with his employees, figuratively...... and VERY literally
The fact that you didn't acknowledge that Striker was voiced by Norman Reedus perplexes me...
The series only gets better from here! Looking forward to seeing more of your reactions! A lot more lore is in the upcoming episodes.
Millie going feral will never not be awesome. Get you someone in your life who'll go to bat that hard for you
Love how both you AND Moxxie said "WTF" at the exact same time when that shark came back with a flying elbow.
I am so excited for the next episode 😭😭😭🙏🙏
22:49 I think on Angel dust situation that's what it represents, but doesn't mean people can't have gold teeth from non deal-voodoo reasons.
That's what I think too. Dentistry in Hell is probably not great.
I still can’t believe they got Norman Reedus for this episode. Given who they’ve gotten for these shows since then it may not seem like a big deal but at the time I was blown away when this first came out.
Blitz was enamored by the hell horse, not Striker. Also, best episode is up next, be prepared for awesome.
Love that Sally-May has four lines but a massive fan following.
yea!
Moxxie and Stolas are the ones who think, Striker is sexy 😂 Blitzo just loves Bombproof, Striker's admittedly really cool horse.
