Beautifully rendered! I've played this piece almost daily (on & off) for years and STILL have to glance at the music. It's rare that I don't make a least a tiny mistake in a spot or two. I'm not a deadly earnest classical player but I made a respectable living as a keyboardist for over 30 years and I can say that when you see these children not only executing at this level, but from memory? There still may be some hope for humanity!
Also, THANK YOU for not playing it so fast! I just heard Valentina Lisitsa's rendition and heard Glen Gould's years ago. They're so fast I can hardly hear all the notes. Bach may have indicated it to be played fast, but that doesn't necessarily mean 'play it as fast as you can without missing notes'. ;-)

Quel interêt de jouer une invention de Bach sur un piano comme une boite à musique quand on pourrait y mettre la même intensité sur un clavecin ou un orgue? Un jeu sans empathie, mécanique et visiblement sans connaissance de la culture germanique etd e l'histoire de BAch. Je faisais la même chose à 6 ans sans rien y comprendre, aujourd'hui je joue BAch avec une autre vision de son oeuvre. Laissez aux enfants des oeuvres qui les émeuvent pour s'imprégner de la grande musique. là ça sent le concours...
¿Cuál es l tempo correcto? ¿Cómo lo saben si Bach no lo indicó? No especulen diciendo lo q nadie sabe con suficiente seguridad. Esto no es un minue o un rondó, q puedes intuir la velocidad. No existe una "velocidad correcta" para algo llamado "invención". Bach posiblemente la tocaría más rápida, aunq nunca lo sabremos con seguridad. L oído y l sentido estético es lo único q nos puede guiar. M gusta este tempo, pero más rápido o más lento estaría bien igual, mientras no se demuestre lo contrario...
