  • In this informative video, we delve into the process of how the food we eat is converted into fat in the body. From the moment we consume a meal, various metabolic pathways come into play, influencing whether the nutrients are utilized for energy or stored as fat. We explore concepts such as metabolism, nutrient absorption, lipogenesis, insulin's role, and the intricate mechanisms of glucose and fatty acid metabolism.
Join us as we unravel the complexities of adipose tissue, energy balance, and the hormonal regulation that governs fat storage. By understanding the science behind caloric surplus, triglyceride storage, and fat deposition, you'll gain valuable insights into how dietary choices impact fat accumulation and overall health.
Whether you're interested in weight management, obesity risk factors, or simply seeking to adopt healthier eating habits, this video provides a comprehensive understanding of the processes that influence fat storage in the body.

Also there is a limit to the amount of body fat you can gain in a day. About a pound of fat is the limit. But for this to work you would need to eat at least 10000 calories in a day which is near impossible. So a day of binge eating wont cause too much harm

Maybe try getting into small walks or playing fitness games whatever is the best for you.

Here is the most basic most crude example of what is body fat. Imagine you have a plate (your body) it’s clean, nothing is on it. Then imagine you put pancakes and syrup on the plate. When you are done eating, there is syrup and a few crumbs left over. That represents body fat. And it will continually accumulate (fat) on your plate until you introduce energy aka washing the plate.

yup thats how exactly glucose/fat works in this video.. cuz calorie deficit is flawed. not calories are equal. sure u can eat 100cal of cookies but also contains 30-50g of sugar/carbs = u gain fat.. also if you eat too less calories like 1000 - 1300 cal a day u hit starvation survival mode/weight plateau(slower metabolism, fatique, weakness, increased cortisol levels) the fastest way to burn fat is intermittent fasting/stop eating junk sugar/carbs. your body will go to ketosis mode.. this is why keto people lose 30k-50kg easily in 1-2months even eating 2.5k- 3k cals day.. than those who do ridiculous calorie counting and scaling everything at 1.5k cal a day but yet still dont lose fat due to "plateau"/slower metabolism. your body is very clever its easily adapts from eating low calories and that specific calories you just set a month ago. will became "new normal" calories or your new normal Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE) this is how caveman survived during ice age eating too low calories

Because while body fat serves as an energy reserve, it doesn't provide essential nutrients like vitamins, minerals, and proteins that the body needs to function properly. Prolonged periods without food can lead to nutrient deficiencies, muscle loss, and various health problems, even if there is stored fat available for energy.

@@TTR83 what you said is true but that has nothing to do with losing or gaining weight. The calories you take in versus the calories you expend determine if you gain or lose weight. It is true carbs don’t “fill you up” that doesn’t mean you have to eat high calorie foods to make yourself feel full. If you are hungry, drink a glass of water, eat some celery, it will make you feel full with zero calories. Stop with the insulin resistance bullshit and stop eating. You have diabetes because you eat too much and you are overweight, not the other way around.
