- When you open the garage and see a bike like the Ducati Streetfighter 848 in the garage you can't help but grin. It's got more than enough power for everyday riding on the street and plenty more in reserve if you want to have some fun on the track.

Came for the SF 848, stayed for Cliff’s great stories! Great choice in bikes, too. I’ve had a SF 848 and my other bikes just sit around…it’s just that good!
Hey Justin, thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it. We have a few older videos with Ducati's if you are interested. Glad you liked Cliff's story.
The 848 Streetfighter is such a great bike. Future classic.
Agreed
I really enjoy the wisdom of this Gentleman and his partner who have been riding for long time. I ride a 1200 Bandit but think I had more fun years ago on my Honda CB400f and my Yamaha RD400. My advice to beginners would be to learn riding skills on a smaller bike. I hear too many tragic tales that usually involve an inexperienced rider on a large displacement super sport bike. I enjoy this channel, thank you all.
I’d love to have an RD400. Thanks for watching
The best streetfighter. Much better geometry than the 1098 version
Certainly looks like a fun bike.
better engine too! Its got more road torque and friendliness just like the Multistrada and Diavel engines.
I remember telling a guy this bike is my favorite bike, I just bought it in yellow 😊. But when I said that he raved that the 1098 is way cooler. I always thought the 848's style is way cleaner.
Hi Cliff, I have a 2012 SF848, and I was surprised to read your comment saying the DTC can be turned down but not turned off. So I checked the user manual and went to the garage and checked it out. I had the DTC on 2, and now it is turned off. Pages 34 to 38 of the user manual. If you don’t have a user manual, I have a PDF I could send you.
Also, I L O V E your custom paint job. It looks fantastic.
Thanks for sharing that info, we will pass it onto Cliff
I enjoy my 848 in every kilometer, cheers from Chile!!!
Great bike, enjoy.
I do love the Street fighters
Yeah me too, great looking bikes. Would love one of the new V2s
Great to hear other riders bike life stories
Thanks for watching
Interesting story Cliff that's a lot of riding experience . Excellent production Ross and Mz.T
Glad you enjoyed it
I must try a track day soon. Cool interview. Love the naked street fighter
Yeah me too, how did the Drag racing go?
@@BikerTorque They cancelled the event last minute. “Technical Difficulties”. They have insurance issues.
Great episode Ross, a different perspective of riding (track) and some classic bikes well done 😎👍🏼
Cheers Big Bert, thanks for watching.
Really like your Chanel, thank you and keep going.
Thanks Henri. Plenty more coming up
Another great video, thanks
Thanks for watching
@@BikerTorque no worries.
Yup, awesome machine- way too fast for me though… great interview Ross
I reckon you’d go OK on it.
Enjoyed this way-more than I thought I would, Cliff pretty-much summed-up why we ride bikes ( people often don't 'Get' why older-people ride) . A young guy recently convinced me to watch one of his action-games , I pointed-out to him that it was similar adrenalin to bike-riding, except that when you truly messed-up, you might 'Really' Die. His reaction was a bit of humour . I would love you to do a vid on the old Yamaha XV1000 (TR1 in Europe) . Across the-ditch in NZ, I have NEVER seen another one on the road (I'm sure they're out there---somewhere) I do know there were a LOT of them in Oz , they were very popular over your way .There are only 28 on the British MOT-Register . Mine is a very similar riding-experience to my old 75 Ducati 750GT and is set-up to look more 'old-school-retro' . As a new subscriber, (laid-up with the flu ) i'm enjoying looking through your past-episodes . Dave NZ
Cheers Dave, good to see you are enjoying our older videos as well as the new ones.
This pre Volkswagen Ducati’s are the best. Don’t like to much new production. I am proud owner of Monster 1100 and these street fighter is also awesome.
I love the Monster range, great bikes, nearly bought one. Thanks for watching
@@BikerTorque You have great content. Keep it going!
Turn the traction control off. Mine does wheelies easily in first gear 👌🏽
Good to know!
I hope you go back to see how the pantah turned out.
Definitely will be checking out the Pantah when it’s done
Great video! Just saying...It's a damn good wheeliemachine if you turn off TC😂
I bet
Cool video! New sub
Thanks glad you enjoyed it. We have plenty more rider stories and reviews coming up
@@BikerTorque Awesome! I’ll be watching for them. I really liked the format and getting to know the rider of the motorcycle. I’ve also always been quite fond of the Streetfighter.
Can you disable traction control on the SF 848 ?
Not sure
Not on the earlier models like mine. You can reduce the interaction but not turn it off completely.
