So cool Dan. That Bouge RV power station is interesting… looks like an easy solution to get light or some power if needed while setting up other generator. Going to check it out. I like what you’re doing to the trailer and think the drawers are an excellent idea. Might be able to find a pre-made closet solution too that could work.
We brough a kickoff of the Lugone table we brought two brackets so we can move it. We are turning ours into a bench and leaving the bed set up all the time. We will be able to move the table as a counter or dinner area over bench seat.
Great to see you back in action!!! This will be an update that will pay dividends, especially after a long day’s hike!!! It will be nice to sleep on a comfortable bed instead of a dirt bed littered with rocks!!! Oh man, wrestling that 4’x8’ looks like fun 😊. Brings back memories for sure! That power station looks awesome!!! I checked the web site to see if it was a pure sine wave generator. Not sure if I said that correctly, but pure sine wave is used for sensitive electronics and medical equipment. I could not find that info, but my guess is, it probably is since the power source is LiFePO4. We have a whole home Generac natural gas generator that is not a pure sine wave, and it messes with our appliances and clocks. We need to use battery backups like APC and Triplite on our sensitive electronics. I was waiting until I got out there to figure out my exact needs, before I made my purchase, but I will be looking into this unit for sure. BTW: Great shot of Lolly chillin’ on her bed under the heat lamp (we think it is a heat lamp 😊) next to the fireplace!!! Also, killer drone shot of you towing the Boler with the mountains in the background!!! Nice contortion job getting those measurements!!! My Mom said she was glad you were wearing your ear and eye pro (your glasses) along with the respirator!!! Me too!!! As an amateur (hack) woodworker 😊, you may want to consider treating the storage area like a cabinet build. You could build a cabinet carcass (box), build the drawers, and add the hardware in your shop, then move it to the Boler once it is complete to avoid the hassle of building it inside the camper. Building a cabinet is not that difficult. It is just building boxes. 😊 Whether it is a kitchen cab, bathroom vanity, media center, shelf, or a dresser, it is all the same. Just different size boxes. 😊 If you decide to go that route, you may want to consider using Blum drawer slides. In my limited experience, those things ROCK! The weight and mass of a cabinet will provide excellent support for the bed, and you can drill a couple of holes on each side of the fiber glass and attach it with a bolt, washer, and nut. This way it can be removed, if needed. Now, I am sure it would be a headache to remove, but at least it would not be permanently attached. This would be a huge pain to do if the internal dimensions were not square. Also, after it is built, it would be pretty heavy to move, BUT you could remove the drawers and strap the carcass to Tessa’s back and the drawers to Lolly and move everything to the camper, easy peasy.!!! 😊😊😊 We cannot wait to see what you have coming up next!!! Looks like you will be getting some snow!!! You guys be safe and stay well!!
Thank you sir! I'm excited about it! I'm so excited to sleep in something that isn't a tent 😂 I'm pretty sure Tessa is too lol I don't know if I've lost some strength or what.. that sheet of plywood kicked my behind. Glad you liked the power station! It was fun to team up with BougeRV and create ads for the last couple of videos.. that is VERY new to me so it took some time to create! I have to imagine it would run medical devices just fine.. It ran the table saw and I couldn't believe it. I was stoked to be able to ditch the extension cord. I have it charged up and stored away at the moment for when the power goes out. Glad you liked the shot of Lolly and the lamp! It was actually just a regular old unique lamp that we have. I don't think she understood what was happening 😊 So for the drawer idea, I think I've decided to scrap that (at least for now). I'm part of some FB groups and forums and have asked a lot of questions and some people have expressed concern regarding putting too much weight in the back of the Boler. At least for towing purposes, you don't want it to be weighted down behind the axle apparently. So.. now I'm thinking of just a nice latch or cupboard type door for that storage area. If you have any ideas do share! I believe a couple of lightweight trunk organizers for storage would do the trick in there for us. We're just coming out of the cold snap! Thanks for watching!!

Looking good!

Awesome. Sounds like you have an idea for a nice and simple setup. Thanks for watching this!
I'm looking at doing a permanent bed too, but i do like the ability to have a table in bad weather.
Agreed! That's why we build the front dinette on the other end as well. Thanks for watching!
