I travelled from the UK to New York City on my own!
It's the first time in my life I've ever done something like this and I can't wait for my next adventure!

Planning to take my first solo trip to New York next year! It's a little nerve-wracking considering the fact that I'm a woman in my early 20s and I will be flying from Europe, but I think it will turn out super fun. Looking forward 😊
The thing about New York...you are on your feet most of the time, six hours of sleep is more than enough to get by in a day. On New Year's Day I was so sick,
by the time I hop on the train to 8th Ave and 14th st, I had forgotten that I was sick lol
Yes I definitely felt that on the day I was hungover haha! Once I was out the hotel, I was absolutely fine haha
As a solo traveler, I love your solo travel vlog so much because there's no faking it. It's really what a solo travel vlog is. I love to travel alone and I can resonate so much with your vlog 😊 NYC is one of my bucketlist and watching your solo travel is inspiring❤

went solo few weeks ago for 10 days it was a very nice trip saw alot of great things only downside was the smell but you get used to it and it was pretty hot and a good tip DONT RENT A CAR !! the traffic is horrible XD

and a huge NYPD security detail for former "President ORANGEAIDE", on his 1st visit back to NYC after being "elected"!
Rode the subway and hailed a cab!
I highly recommend people research ahead and just go! You will truly be on such a "high" for along time after!

PS... the place you stayed, The Jane Hotel was originally built to house sailors, and later where survivors of the TITANIC stayed when they were brought back to NYC! Thought as a Brit, you might enjoy that trivia?
Unfortunately, just read that the Hotel/Bar has been sold and scheduled to close. It is going to become a private Social Club for the "rich?" Too bad, it is a historical landmark. 🙁

I didn’t go around in many areas at night that weren’t full of people, not that I didn’t feel safe, I just didn’t want to risk anything whilst being alone! My advice is to get up to see the sunrise every morning, so by the time it’s night time, you’ll be too exhausted to go out anyway!

Did you ride the subways to get around? Im going solo to NYC tomorrow and I am not sure how to use them. Ive been watching a lot of how to videos though! Cool Vlog! Takes away much of the fear people might over solo traveling to NYC! Thanks for this!

Thank you, Chef! I stayed in a hotel called The Jane Hotel. It was a shared bathroom but had my own private room. The bathroom was spotless though. Genuinely cleaner than most private bathroom hotels haha! It's just a great way to keep the costs low when you're visiting an expensive city.

The place I showed where I Am Legend is filmed is the Grand Central Terminal. I stood on Park avenue on East 39th Street to get that view!

Hey! I actually found it on booking.com. It must of been a crazy deal for the time I went because it's quite expensive now (and fully booked on most days). Hope you have an amazing time in New York!

€262.10 for 1 week right ?
Yaaasss Queen. It was for 5 nights in total. I used £ British Pounds in the video and got my figures a bit wrong before I forgot to include things like 'city tax' and other taxes.
In TOTAL, for 5 nights, it cost me £292. Which, in Euros is about €340. In Dollars, $356.
