Just came across this video and can honestly say I relate so much, especially to the intro of your video. I have had those exact feelings and thoughts about New York and eventually planning to live in New York (solo). I am so relieved to know that someone else went through a similar experience/situation as I did earlier this year! I tried to temporarily move to New York earlier this year (for a few months) for school, but unfortunately it didn’t go as planned. Initially, I was embarrassed that my experience didn’t work out, but I don’t feel so bad about it anymore. Thank you for posting this video 😅

What are your tips in terms of budget for 5 days and 6 nights (food, other expenses) and how's the transportation from JFK airport to the city centre (including the cost)? Cause most of my money will go to the flight tickets, thankfully I don't have to worry much about accommodation!
there’s a lot of affordable food options in NYC (cheap pizza, chinatown eats) as well as free activities 😊 i definitely recommend looking up events/activities happening in the city a couple days before (@nyc_for free is my fav ig account to see free events) for transportation from JFK, you can take the air train and then transfer to a Long Island Rail Road train that will take you to grand central station hope you have a great trip!
