This is the best so far. I read the manual and watched the videos and installed the cameras. It took me about 1 1/2 hrs to do everything. And it was really easy. I though it would be a bear, but not bad at all. Has a great picture. For the money, this camera can't be beat at this time.
Very useful instructions - thanks! My only issue was with the antistatic strips - especially on the front. The weight of the camera just pulled it straight off (I did wipe the window first - honest!). I ended up going straight onto the windscreen.
If you're worried about cable length....Run your cables from the driver side (instead of the passenger). If it's really too short you can buy a longer cable, fairly inexpensive and should be available from standard stores selling phones, electronics etc.....
Very good video . I ran into a problem. The static cling did not work. I cleaned the windshield with windex. Applied the static cling per the video & it did not hold the dashcam to the windshield. The static cling film is attached to the dashcam just fine but the cling does not adhere to the windshield. Did I miss something? Any suggestions would help. Thank you.
I just bought this and I'm watching your video, but I'm like... BRUH, we have 2 completely different cars! I don't think I have all those cracks! 😂😂😂 I'll try now and comment later about what happened! I hope the wires REALLY ARE long enough! 😅😅😅
This video was SUPER helpful. And I loved how you explained and showed the lineage of the cords. Most videos don't do that. Thank you for helping me install my cam. I really appreciate this video.
Excellent camera, and the electrostatic sheet is an added benefit. Just a minor point. Every time the D2 Duo starts, the screen displays the front view, regardless of what view the user has previously selected. I hope Focuway can improve it in the next firmware update. It is pointless to see on the camera screen what you are seeing through the windshield.
Just did this install. Worked really well. Was expecting the rear camera to be a pain but it was smooth. Thanks for the video.

I've just had the same problem with mine. The static strips seem to be really weak. I think I'll try doing the same thing and bypassing them.
@@logan4179 good luck! It’s been a few weeks now and mine is holding fine
Thank you for this video

What is the wide angle view on the front and rear camera?

Would have been nice to show how the controls/buttons work and setting up.

Why do we need to avoid window tint?
The way it's pronounced is cracking me up
It is not safe to block the A-pillar airbag with the wires
