Thank you for this video
It concisely turn the WIFI off I was able to connect to the wifi few seconds then disconnected by it self!!!? Should I return it or there is a way to fix?
Hello, please contanct us for online help:focuway.com/pages/contact
What device do you use to connect to dash cam? If it is an Android device, after connecting to WiFi, the system will scan for WiFi. After a few seconds, it will prompt you that the WiFi has no Internet connection. Do you need to continue connecting? Please select Continue to connect, otherwise the phone will automatically disconnect the dash cam WiFi. If you cannot connect to the WiFi, please select Forget this WiFi and re-enter the password to connect.
After watching barely 2 minutes of this vid, I've come to the conclusion that this is yet another product that I'll have to figure out on my own. 🙄🙄
So my question is, how do you pull up the GPS on the recording? When you play back
Would have been nice to show how the controls/buttons work and setting up.
Why do we need to avoid window tint?
Can't hear you. Speak clearly and turn music off!

Very useful instructions - thanks! My only issue was with the antistatic strips - especially on the front. The weight of the camera just pulled it straight off (I did wipe the window first - honest!). I ended up going straight onto the windscreen.
I've just had the same problem with mine. The static strips seem to be really weak. I think I'll try doing the same thing and bypassing them.
@@logan4179 good luck! It’s been a few weeks now and mine is holding fine
"Foc u, ay" the company name sounds like a Canadian is telling me off
The way it's pronounced is cracking me up
Is there no unoccupied acc or constant fuse slots?
Yes, you need to use a car circuit tester to test
Is there a way to run tgis 24 hours a day without having to connect to its wifi?
Excellent camera, and the electrostatic sheet is an added benefit. Just a minor point. Every time the D2 Duo starts, the screen displays the front view, regardless of what view the user has previously selected. I hope Focuway can improve it in the next firmware update. It is pointless to see on the camera screen what you are seeing through the windshield.
How is the parking monitor work?
If you're worried about cable length....Run your cables from the driver side (instead of the passenger). If it's really too short you can buy a longer cable, fairly inexpensive and should be available from standard stores selling phones, electronics etc.....
I just bought this and I'm watching your video, but I'm like... BRUH, we have 2 completely different cars! I don't think I have all those cracks! 😂😂😂 I'll try now and comment later about what happened! I hope the wires REALLY ARE long enough! 😅😅😅
I you are worried about câble length......Run the wire th
At 4:13 the narrator switches to an iPhone. This video is useful for both Android and IOS users.
Just did this install. Worked really well. Was expecting the rear camera to be a pain but it was smooth. Thanks for the video.

How can I connect my dash cam to my car's Wi-Fi?
Sorry, you can't do this.
I can't connect to the Focuway wifi, difficult password doesn't work, shows as Timed Out while connecting to Focuway_T*** wifi. Please help me what can I do with this problem?
manual and video are different
confused when u put the acc into the wire and the original fuse from my truck
It actually makes no difference if you plug two fuses into the socket. The description in the manual is to let everyone know that the outside fuse circuit leads to the dash cam, and the inside fuse circuit leads to the car's original electrical equipment.
Very good video . I ran into a problem. The static cling did not work. I cleaned the windshield with windex. Applied the static cling per the video & it did not hold the dashcam to the windshield. The static cling film is attached to the dashcam just fine but the cling does not adhere to the windshield. Did I miss something? Any suggestions would help. Thank you.
After correctly installing the hardwire kit, please open the "Time-lapse Recording" option in the settings. This way, after the car engine is turned off, the dash cam will start time-lapse recording within 10 seconds. You will hear the voice prompt "Time-lapse recording started" (for T5/T6 models), or the screen will turn off and the green working indicator light will flash (for D2 duo models). If the dash cam does not enter parking mode (turn off or start time-lapse recording) after the car engine is turned off, it means your red wire is not correctly connected to the ACC fuse. Please try connecting it to another ACC fuse position. The working logic of the FOCUWAY dash cam is as follows: The yellow cable provides continuous power to the dash cam and needs to be connected to the car's constant fuse (most fuses are constant, such as those for interior headlamps, car locks, etc.), which means fuses that still have power even after the car engine is turned off. The red cable is the parking control cable and needs to be connected to the ACC fuse (usually for cigarette lighter, radio, car console, etc.). When the car starts, the red cable receives power, signaling the dash cam to enter normal working mode. When the car engine is turned off, the red cable loses power, signaling the dash cam to enter parking mode. The black cable is the negative pole and needs to be connected to the car frame screw. Please make sure not to connect it to screws on plastic parts, as this won't create a power loop, causing the dash cam to fail to start. If you can't find your car's fuse box diagram, you can input your car brand, model, and year here to search: www.startmycar.com/ fuse-box.info/ If you still can't find the correct fuse, please send the car brand, model, and year to email: support@focuway.com for assistance.
My Nissan Kicks 2022 cigarette lighter gives power even when the ignition is turned off. I am using D2-DUO. How to use parking mode in my case? Because the camera continues to operate normally even the ignition is off.. I am not using any Hardwire kit. This cigarette lighter is company installed.
I connected it as in the video, but I am experiencing the problem you described. It works normally but does not go into parking mode.
@sametka66 Hopefully, the support team will reply to us.
UPDATE !!! I just noticed that once the main ignition is turned off, it still supplies the power to that cigarette lighter for around 5 minutes. After that, it cuts off power, and then dashcam turns off. 😁 after little more research, I came to know that some new model of kicks supply power upto 10 minutes as well. So try to identify how long does it takes to cut off power completely in your Nissan Kicks.
@@Prabhu.Budhathoki Does it go into parking mode after the screen turns off after 5 or 10 minutes? Did I get right?
As you said, I waited 15-20 minutes, but it still does not go into parking mode. screen always on
This video was SUPER helpful. And I loved how you explained and showed the lineage of the cords. Most videos don't do that. Thank you for helping me install my cam. I really appreciate this video.
Yea & the aux jack isnt 3.5mm and the supplied cable will not reach from back to front even on a compact suv! Just pathetic really!
We provide extension cord solutions, please contact our email address to get it for free: support@focuway.com, please also send your order number and shipping address.
hey im missing the power outlet. is there anywhere i can purchase another one

This is the best so far. I read the manual and watched the videos and installed the cameras. It took me about 1 1/2 hrs to do everything. And it was really easy. I though it would be a bear, but not bad at all. Has a great picture. For the money, this camera can't be beat at this time.

I got the hardwire kit from you guys but for some reason parking mode still isn’t working
It is not safe to block the A-pillar airbag with the wires
Rear cam won’t work
Please firmly insert the rear camera plug into the end. If it still cannot be displayed, please contact email: support@focuway.com to obtain a free replacement rear camera.
I don't like his cable management.
Stop the music so I can hear you.
🤣🤣🤣
how do I get the OKCar app to work in the car with my Android Auto at the same time? I really like the camera but this part is so frustrating.
This is a great tutorial!
Does the T5 show a picture in picture of the rearview camera?
Anyone have any actual adhesion options? The glue on the 3M stickers wouldn't hold a gold star on a child's book report. LOL
Hi I can’t preview video 😢
😊 'promosm'
Why can’t I see my rear camera?
When did the D2 duo model come out? Is this your latest model?
Hi there, once you install the kit, we don’t need to connect that wire to cigarette lighter right?
Yes
I was wondering the same- does yes mean we do need to still connect the cigarette lighter wire? I’m new to this- my aplogies
@@z4beemergirlSC once you wire it to the fuse box and install this kit you wont need the cigarette lighter wire ever again. because the power will be coming from the fuse box instead of the cigarette lighter
What is the wide angle view on the front and rear camera?
can you connect more than one camera set up to yhe app I want to buy 2 dashcams so I can have 4 cameras
you can register multiple dash cams, but you can only connect one dash cam to your phone at a time. If you want to switch dash cams, you need to switch WiFi.
The music is annoying. very bad video.
I just received my T6. I am testing & learning about it on my desk before I install it in my car. The T6 seems to be a quality product but I will not be able to say for sure until I have put it into service for several days or weeks. This video provides some help but is of very poor quality. Here are some suggestions for improvement: 1 - Talk slower and enunciate each word better. I realize English is not the host's first language. Think about hiring a professional actor or doing a voice over. Splitting this into two separate videos, one for iOS and one for Android would allow more time for the vocal. 2 - Get a remote mike that the actor can wear. Besides the speech being too rapid it is of very poor quality, fault of the phone not the actor. By the way, the suggestion below to slow down the recording, does not work, it only makes the audio more difficult to understand. 3 - Rather than showing the actor selecting menu options and such, use screen shots and highlight or outline the correct options. The actor, besides talking too fast and not enunciating, finger taps way to fast, makes several miss-taps and it is difficult to clearly see what option is being selected. 4 - Divide the video into chapters so users can find important information more quickly. Here is a link on how to do that th-cam.com/video/b1Fo_M_tj6w/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=TH-camCreators By the way that video is also a good example of how to create better content. The audio is great quality, the speaker is very clear and enunciates each word clearly. The pace is snappy but not too fast. I applaud your effort to provide multiple paths to success for your user community but if your content is flawed it just leads to frustration for your users. Here is a link to another well done video that shows one way to illustrate what options need to be selected on a smart phone. I'm looking forward to learning more about me Focuway T6 and it providing me with great service.
