Sarah I wanted to add that in oil-based products rosemary leaf extract is often used to slow down the oxidation of the oils. So it can definitely be a nice addition to anhydrous products like the Pacifica oil serum mentioned. Under most circumstances the scent should be very mild, if noticeable at all 😊💕

So glad you’re reviewing this line. I love Pacifica products. I don’t find them to be a powerful force of change for my skin, but I do think they are comforting, if that makes sense. One of my favorite products from them is their Cosmic Beauty Drops. It’s scented but the scent is so light and calming that I actually exhale and smile when I smell it lol! I’m learning to love skincare for reasons other than it “fixes” a problem I have. And Pacifica is a brand that I just enjoy and the added hydration is a plus. 🥰 Happy Monday Sarah and all!

First of all, you are a wonderful reliable voice on this platform so I’m puzzled why anyone would leave bizarre and hateful comments on your videos! Second, I’m loving this line’s cream. It’s pretty basic but still feels great, idk how to explain it 😂 I’ll try new moisturizers but return to it! Lastly, I definitely want to try out that serum and face oil now. I just got the cream today and I totally love it!!! I have combo almost 40 yr old skin. It’s so nourishing and love the natural matte finish. Usually these kinds of creams leave me shiny but not this one. Very happy and can’t wait to continue using it.

I was not the biggest fan of the ceramide cream and I wanted to love it because of the ingredients but I felt like it didn't smooth onto my face very well and it just left me feeling Dry still. But I got it on sale and its already cheap enough so at least I wasn't out a lot of money. I gave it to my daughter, she gets all the skin care I don't finish or like lol

Excellent review! I've been interested in this line and hoping to get it on sale at some point. I'm like you, very picky about my cleansers. I use different ones for different purposes. I always have a salicylic acid one for treatment, a hydrating one for the morning, two different First Step will cleansers for the evening, and at least one second step cleanser, and one in the shower lol. The most important thing is does it sting my eyes, and I'm always surprised at how many of them do. And of course some of them are too stripping, some are irritating, some leave too much film, some don't get you clean enough...
The cleanser dried my skin out. FYI I have combo-dry skin. It’s oily in the t-zone and dry everywhere else. The lotion is enough on my dry cheeks and chin

There were a few poor reviews on the Ulta site about the oil. Some people said there were things floating in the bottle. Ulta told one person to use it anyway. She did reach out to Pacifica and they told her there should be no settling and not to use it. Just FYI.
Very strange- I have to wonder if the bottle was a customer return? It happens more often than I want to know where returned products end up on the shelf again. Yuck.

Dirt adds up on your face if you work outside at all. Personally, I work at an outside doggie daycare center and by the time I get home in the evenings I can wipe with a cotton ball and see the dirt on my face So I use this line because it's a moisture barrier restoring product, but but I can definitely see a difference in the build-up on my skin at the end of the day. And I only use vegan ceramide barrier face lotion with the lipids in the marshmallow. I've yet to make the change to all of the products as I am quite stuck on some of my other products. I won't mention it here, but I'll give you a hint it's origins. If you respond to these comments. Can you tell me if you've done a review on origins products? I would like to see those videos :-) thank you!
I’m surprised you mentioned safflower oil as being comedogenic. Dermatologists around the world has said the oposite. It’s one of the only truly safe oils for acne with a rating of 0 that I personally use with no issue. That and sunflower! but I just picked up the cream to try!
It just depends on the person- so much of that is really based on the person. For example, Hyaluronic Acid isn't listed as comedogenic, but anytime I use a product heavy in it I will break out. Same issue with Squalane- typically isn't very comedogenic, and I can use products with it, but if I use a 100% squalane oil I know I will break out within the next day. Just depends on the person, there really is no right and wrong for everyone.

I just thought you were looking up the comedogenic ratings for ingredients but now I see you’re doing things differently 👍 I found that olive oil squalane breaks me out 100% but I can use hemi light sugarcane squalane with no issue. Also not sure if you know? but Aveeno expanded their calm and restore line I picked up a few goodies at Walmart!
And not forget people who spam the channel on purpose I don't understand why but I believe they have mental issues. This review came just on time because I was looking for a good moisturizer but without retinol or any clogging ingredients. I was debating whether to buy this moisturizer or the beauty of Joseon one so thanks a lot, Sarah for helping me out.
The cleanser is a light gel that generates a very mild lather. If you’re looking for some good milky or creamy cleansers, some I personally like include: La Roche Posay Dermo Milky Cleanser, Paula’s Choice Optimal Results Hydrating Cleanser, Burt’s Bees Sensitive Gentle Facial Cleanser, and The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser!

I have so many gel based second cleansers to go through and then will stick with milky creamy second cleansers- so I’ll give TO cleanser another go (can’t really go wrong with the price). I coincidentally checked for the ceramide cream at Sprouts today, it must be a popular line because that part of the shelf was bare. I was wondering is anyone has found the ceramide ppm, parts per million, for these products? I like that ceramides are higher up in the ingredient list, but am curious about how much there is.
I enjoy how gentle the cleanser is, but why is it so watery and in a tube? A pump bottle would make it a little more manageable This is a mess, since it leaks out unless it's constantly upright. Did I get a bad batch? Is it supposed to be a gel?
The cream is pretty hydrating, might be a bit too much for combo skin, but I would probably say the lotion is worth a try and it should be hydrating enough (but not greasy feeling) for combo skin.

I was literally just typing to ask your opinion on fatty alcohols and acne prone skin and you started listing them in the first product. That was just weird. I’m starting to think I need to try cutting out fatty alcohols and see if that helps with the closed comedones that won’t go away no matter what I do. Is squalane a no go too? I keep seeing everything saying it is not but I wanted your opinion because I trust yours more than healthline website. Lol.
Fatty alcohols are one of those "good news, bad news" ingredients. For very dry skin they can be wonderful, but they can be a culprit to acne prone skin. Squalane is another ingredient that some people tolerate no problem, but interestingly enough, squalane is one ingredient my skin (that rarely breaks out) hates. If squalane is in the first few ingredients I hesitate using it because it is likely that my skin will break out. I've tried many squalane 100% oils and my skin has freaked out with every single one of them. So it is something to consider, although most people don't have issues with squalane.
@@NOBSBeauty I’ve been using the Biossance gel moisturizer for about 5 months or so mostly because it’s lightweight and I tend to be more on the oily side. I wish Simple still had the gel cream. I loved it and didn’t have any issues with it. It’s crazy because I’ve used PC BHA for like two years and it’s never ever helped closed comedones at all. I finally decided it’s not what I need lol. I’m a slow learner. I just started the GG mandelic tonight so fingers crossed. I know people are not fans of essential oils but I used to put diluted tea tree in breakouts as a spot treatment and it totally worked. I never did more than just like on a q tip to dot on carefully so probably why it was ok with no irritation.
I don’t get it. There are no fragrances, essential oils, or terpenes listed in the ingredients, but it smells faintly of jasmine. I didn’t smell it in the patch test, but my swollen eyes tipped me off to that fact that there was something hinkey in there.

They are using sk influx, at about 5%, so the ceramide concentration would be somewhere around 0.075%,the molar ratio is around 1:2:1(probably)

I put the remaining 4 oz in an empty 8 oz foaming pump and topped it up with water. Now I love this cleanser and can use it conveniently.

The cream is pretty hydrating, might be a bit too much for combo skin, but I would probably say the lotion is worth a try and it should be hydrating enough (but not greasy feeling) for combo skin.

I was literally just typing to ask your opinion on fatty alcohols and acne prone skin and you started listing them in the first product. That was just weird. I’m starting to think I need to try cutting out fatty alcohols and see if that helps with the closed comedones that won’t go away no matter what I do. Is squalane a no go too? I keep seeing everything saying it is not but I wanted your opinion because I trust yours more than healthline website. Lol.
Fatty alcohols are one of those "good news, bad news" ingredients. For very dry skin they can be wonderful, but they can be a culprit to acne prone skin. Squalane is another ingredient that some people tolerate no problem, but interestingly enough, squalane is one ingredient my skin (that rarely breaks out) hates. If squalane is in the first few ingredients I hesitate using it because it is likely that my skin will break out. I've tried many squalane 100% oils and my skin has freaked out with every single one of them. So it is something to consider, although most people don't have issues with squalane.
@@NOBSBeauty I’ve been using the Biossance gel moisturizer for about 5 months or so mostly because it’s lightweight and I tend to be more on the oily side. I wish Simple still had the gel cream. I loved it and didn’t have any issues with it. It’s crazy because I’ve used PC BHA for like two years and it’s never ever helped closed comedones at all. I finally decided it’s not what I need lol. I’m a slow learner. I just started the GG mandelic tonight so fingers crossed. I know people are not fans of essential oils but I used to put diluted tea tree in breakouts as a spot treatment and it totally worked. I never did more than just like on a q tip to dot on carefully so probably why it was ok with no irritation.

I don’t get it. There are no fragrances, essential oils, or terpenes listed in the ingredients, but it smells faintly of jasmine. I didn’t smell it in the patch test, but my swollen eyes tipped me off to that fact that there was something hinkey in there.
The Facial Oil does contain rosemary leaf extract. Which product(s) have you used from this line?
