Dude, perfect choice for a handle to match the forging marks you left on the blade! Glad you were able to find something to scratch that itch. My hand hurts watching all the hammering 😂

It’s just high carbon steel, the hardening process though of heating it then quenching it in oil is where it gains its hardness.
What would it cost to forge a custom cast iron wood fire cabin stove?
Not sure, those are made by pouring molten iron into sand molds, quit the different process from this.

Who else has watched so much Forged In Fire that you start calling out mistakes before the hosts do (even though you know that you would stand no chance of forging anything without a class like this)?
At times, it was hilarious to watch Chad interact with us and just observe us for an extended period doing something wrong, and then he would come by and fix it in two seconds. 🤣
