Chanel No 19 is a beautiful scent and I receive many compliments when I wear it.
I always wore Chanel No19, but they don't make it anymore. I bought it from the company last year for roughly 150.00 and it didn't have the scent and it didn't linger. I returned it! Is yours from some time ago or how and where did you buy it.😢

Thank you for another great video. I recently went to Paris for my friend's 40th birthday. Only a friend who was wearing chanel eau tendre got the most compliments. I also smelt her the most from all of us even we wore stronger fragrances in my opinion. I am surprised how delicate tendre is but it has a good sillage at the same time.
First time watching your video so enjoyed it. I’m a 68 old women my favorite when I was in my 30 was Cinnabar.
I’m almost 63. Cinnabar and Opium were my favorites in my younger years.
I love Cinnabar. I had to just shelve my bottle for a year after purchase but it's now ready and glimmering to be worn! I've enjoyed it of late in the Fall Season.
I love Cinnabar too, but only in cold weather.

Yes, yes, yes! As soon as I started using La Vie the compliments started--from everywhere. I can't use many scents because of sensitivity but love, love, love La Vie!
It IS pretty but something about it is just way to strong for me~ love so many others a lot more for a “ to the strong” fragrance for example Channels Coco Mademoiselle.
That’s all I wear is the La Vie Est Belle and sometimes Sol de Janie ro and My Way perfumes. La Vie is my absolute favorite.

Don't be so SURE they're actually COMPLIMENTS!! As stated before, people often ask "what're you wearing"? when they want to AVOID that fragrance!! Personally, I find La Vie est Belle heavy, overly sweet, and having some strange undertone of something that I just don't like. SORRY!! I much prefer Jimmy Choo Blossom for its light, fruity fragrance. To each his/her own I guess!!!

My beautful “ model when she was 17-22” mother always wore Guerlan SHALIMAR in her day~~ I can still smell it on her mink jacket that’s hanging in my coat closet ~ she’s been in heaven for 22 years. God I miss her. She was beautiful! I got to play dress up with a lot of her clothes & jewelry. She’d let me put on a spray of Shalimar also!

From Chanel, I love both: Coco Mademoiselle and Chance in its original formula, as well as the Eau Tendre and Eau Fréche varieties. From Lancôme, I still love Trêsor, no matter how old it is. I love Angel by Thierry Mugler, too. From ISL, there was an amazing fragrance called Rive Gauche that I adored. The thing is I’m a little idiosyncratic in the way I wear fragrances: I prefer fresh, citrusy, green fragrances during the day, and deeper and more seductive ones for the night, and even that depends on the occasion or whomever I’m spending my evening.
Yes that Rives Gauche was my stuff in the 80s! Haven't smelled it in years.

I wear Clinique Happy and get compliments. It’s all about how your body chemistry reacts to a fragrance. The same fragrance smells different on different people. My mom tried it and it doesn’t smell the same on her.
I still wear Happy too sometimes!!
La Vie Est Belle, was my signature Scent for years and it will definitely get you compliments. This was a great video and I own most of these fragrances
I have tried the variations like Le Elixr their latest one. I prefer the original and it lasts on me etter. The Rose was nice also but no longer available.
For me it's always the Chanel Chance Tendre and Lancome Tresor La Nuit ( old version before they change the formula) that gets me compliments.
Could you display the names of the scents and the maker onscreen? Some of them I've not heard of and can't work out what they are called or who makes them?
Hands down best perfume ever was the original Opium. Men and women both would compliment me and ask what I wore. Sadly I haven't found one even close to that sultry yet not overpowering scent.

Chanel Coco Mademoiselle all the time. I have written the name down on so many pieces of paper for men who want to buy it for their wives. And my other is Lemon oil mixed with a little almond oil. I put it on after a shower, it smells clean and fresh.

These have always had men complimenting, and everybody turning their head to ask: "What is that perfume you have on?" I'm not a fan of "LOUD" perfumes like "Red" which everybody wore back in the day. I like musks, vanilla, and oils that have a nice scent.

Been sitting in my drawer for what seems like decades and reading your comment prompted me to go spray some on and wow! oh wow! still smells out of this world fabulous! Just love it! As the day goes on the scent turns into a soft mellow musky vanilla that smells oh so sexy! Definitely a must to own and wear if you want not only compliments but to feel sexy and confident! Haven't tried Candy by Prada but hope to soon. Wondering if the scent is like Viva La Juicy Couture? That's another one of my favorites and I just LOVE "Taste" by Jessica Simpson!!! Not only it the bomb by scent but it's edible too so your significant other will not only be turned on by the scent of you but the "taste" of you as well!

I have no clue why people say Very Good Girl smells like Delina. I adore all three Delinas, and VGG is a total scrubber on my skin. From this list (I have all of them except the Lattafa,) Delina, Chance en Tendre, and Flowerbomb are among my most complimented fragrances. But when collecting opinions about these perfumes, we have to take into account that extremely popular perfumes are worn by more people, so it just stands to reason that they rank among the most complimented.
@@professionaldogtrainer968 Though your nose doesn't detect it, it is objectively and popularly described as a Delina clone. Objectively, it's made by the same perfumer and the notes are very similar.
I've been using Black opium for years until I tried la vie est belle. These two are my favorites! Got so much compliments.

The one smell I have ever smelled that I just love is “Pheromone” by Marilyn Miglin, it smells different on each person which I appreciate that. My second fragrant was Chanel 5, I was obsessed with that in my younger years until I found Pheromone.
Dolce & Gabana The Only One & Casablanca get me a lot of compliments! I get them with the CoCo Mad, Blk Opium, & YSL Libre too! My blk owned business find KandyyKiss has some bomb perfumes that always gets me compliments for sure!
Omg original angel I wear it every day for the last 20 years and there’s really not a day that goes by that someone does not stop me and ask me. What are you wearing or is that angel? I love it. I bought elixir error this past time it’s OK but it’s not like Angel. I adore it. And yes, it is my mantra. It makes me feel good if only just for me.

La Vie Est Belle has been reformulated unfortunately. If I’d have known I would have bought 2 bottles when it was released. The current formulation is a little too sweet for me.
My two cents: With all due respect, I find most fragrances from most large perfume/cosmetic houses to be very harsh and filled with chemicals. I prefer smaller houses like Occitane or Comptoir Sud Pacifique who deal mostly in natural skin care, and small independent perfumers who use more natural ingredients and essential oils like Imaginary Authors, Rosie Jane, etc. The older perfumes are good too, but unfortunately they are not the same as they used to be. When I buy Chanel, I only buy the Extrait. It’s expensive but worth it. I never understood what the big deal was about Chanel No 5 till I bought the extrait. My fave was 22, and no longer made.
True. I look for vintage perfumes on ebay (latest acceptable early nineties). My favourite is a Guerlain dated 1967 which was unopened and exquisite. I've only had one poor experience in may years.
Ooooo 22 was so good! When they stopped selling it I went everywhere looking for it.

@@sandradavies7804 I’ve gotten so many beautiful vintage perfumes. My Sin for one. It was much easier to get them before they issued the decant ban. They allowed it to be available again, but it’s never been the same. I got an old version of L’air Du Temps bc the current one they sell smells nothing like it used to. I have a nose with perfect memory. It’s a gift and a curse.

I’Ve just bought La Vie Est Belle (hadn’t opened it) after watching unwrapped & sprayed a little… Yes it’s gorgeous. I also like Chanel Allure (original) not the newer blend, YSL Ysatsis, Miss Dior, V&R Flowerbomb Marc Jacob’s Daisy. I have a suite of perfumes, depending upon my mood, event, season & day/night. My perfumes are stored in the fridge as it’s dark & the weather Downunder is heading towards 37°C/98.6°F the weekend in Sth Aus. after a swim or shower a cool perfume really is refreshing. La vie est Belle is a beautiful and feminine fragrance. If you want to pronounce it correctly you skip the ‘t’ in ‘est’. The ‘t’ becomes silent before a consonant: La vie es(t) Belle. Excellent video.

Very interesting 🤔 My favorites are Delina Exclusif, CM intense, I don’t care at all about CET edt, I still have full 1.2 oz bottle for several years, Angel -yes! Black Opium and Flower Bomb are very cozy soft scents for fall time , CH I like pink bottle better than others, they all are strong and lasting. LVEB I agree, I like most of Lancôme, Tresor and Poeme as well . I went through 3 bottles of Climat long ago. My favorite of Lancôme 💕

My signature scent until discontinued was Armani Mania, I loved it and was complimented on it many times. I wish Armani would bring it back, I've never really loved any scent since, Coco Mademoiselle is my usual now but I'd swap in a heartbeat for Mania

Burberry Goddess for me. I think it is the best designer perfume from 2024 either that or D&G Devotion.
So very many of these are sweet or floral…I’m glad so many like them, but I don’t 🥹Tom Ford fragrances are excellent…many of them, but, of course, not all…also, Jazz Club and By the Fireplace…sweet and floral reminds me of drugstore, unfortunately.

La Vie Est Belle is my sign scent❤I literally get attacked daily by both men and women😂😂😂😂 I just began using the Iris, and I literally get stopped and sniffed daily! It's long lasting and worth every penny!!
Ahhhh Blooming Bouquet by Dior is breathtaking ~~ lots of compliments! Also Miss Dior by Dior is gorgeous! I get so MANY COMPLAINTS when wearing most any DIOR fragrance!!! God I LOVE PERFUME ~~ I HAVE to wear perfume daily/ nightly or my look is just not complete!

Mon Guerlain intense for me!!
May I ask how Mon Guerlain Intense is different from the regular one? I thought the regular one was just okay, but I sold it. Was thinking about the Intense but I don't want to have to buy a sample online. Thank you!
@ it is more intense for sure. It feels more sensual because the vanilla and licorice are amped up! I also get a smooth, white chocolate vibe from it and everyone loves it when I wear it. I also have the OG but it falls flat for me compared to the intense so I am trying to declutter it!

First time viewer…I am trying to find a scent that smells like Aromatonic by Lancome. It’s been discontinued and I have been searching ever since…I apologize if you’ve received this question in the past…and responded…but I’ll be very grateful for a lead for a replacement. I loved the original Angel wore it every day. Since they reformulated it my nose knows the difference and I don't wear it anymore so disappointing.
I work in a charity shop and a donation came in to the front counter.
A bag of ladies toiletries and 1 bottle of perfume.
My assistant opened the bottle of perfume and sprayed 2 puffs into the air impulsively before I could stop her.
For the rest of the day every customer that came in said the shop smelled divine.
It was La vie est Belle by lancome.
We could still smell it the next day.
