    (I remember my first time fighting Koga in childhood)
    My reaction:-
    Lv. 44 Venonat: Ok, not too shabby
    Lv. 46 Venonat: Well...
    Lv. 48 Venonat: What the hell?!
    Lv. 50 Venomoth: (When the sprite first comes out) Wtfh?! This is the evolution?
    And a Lv. 50 pkmn this early?!!

      In Yellow, you can actually catch a Mankey in the route west from Viridian city. It doesn’t show up there in Red/Blue. Once it learns low kick, you’re good to go against Brock.

      @@tylermercado1445 Nidoran (male) can learn double kick around lvl 12. And unlike Mankey, it's easier to train in the early game. There are options regardless.

    Is it me? But I get really annoyed that being based anime Blaine doesn't have magmar in the game

      You know what? I'm with you on that. Dunno why I never reacted to that before, in all the (nearly) 30 years Pokémon R/G have been a thing... (Blue and Yellow are included, but Red and Green came before and were the two I played the most)

    Lt. Surge is easier to defeat in Yellow than in Red/Blue. The reason: he only has 1 Pokémon in Yellow which is his ace in Red/Blue. Get a Geodude and have it learn magnitude for an easy win against his Raichu. You could use Diglett/Dugtrio if you prefer but since Geodude is Rock and Ground, not only is it immune to electric, it also resists normal, so quick attack wouldn’t damage it much.

    • @bigghose5765

      Magnitude was not in gen 1

      @@sam-the-bloodthe only thing that made me have to identify this videos font compared to another videos font made me think, this videos font was like slightly more blackened as if someone slightly warmed up their game cartridge in a microwave before dumping the game on their computer for emulated gameplay lol…
      This was a very standard font from a little after the Microsoft DOS’s were made, in these times all you’d get to see this games font in is Microsoft word but on a Windows 2000, XP desktop, as Microsoft and Nintendo along side Ultra, Sony, Disney, were making new games, when they stopped making Atari’s, Sega-Saturns, NES/SNES’s they acquired Microsoft’s help after Bill Gates acquired IBM’s headquarters with Steve Ballmer,
      What happened was they used standardized fonts for a number of years up until Windows 7 was going to be created cause Nintendo wanted to look at making their games a bit more unique (fresh), I was born in Santa Fe New Mexico where Microsoft and Apple began making their company’s is how I know this :P

    A Charizard which at level 40 still has no other fire type move than ember? Not hating here but watching you play gives me a bit of second hand embarrassment…

      My charizard always had flamethrower, fire blast, fire spin and either hyper beam or seismic toss

    • @_feraligatr
      @_feraligatr ปีที่แล้ว +4

      You know it doesn’t learn Flamethrower until lvl 46…right?

    • @tylermercado1445
      @tylermercado1445 ปีที่แล้ว

      Charmander doesn’t get flamethrower until the 50s, which sucks. That means Charizard wouldn’t get it until the 60s.
