*Also, no Electrolysis is needed! I almost went with a Labiaplasty, but I am glad that I got a Vaginoplasty instead. I am almost 11 weeks post-op now with no problems at all.*
I had the shallow depth and enjoyed a very fast recovery. I have a short canal which can accommodate fingers, but obviously not a big Doc Johnson or penetration. Full body climax is amazing and don't miss dilating
Had it done last year, it's about the depth of a q-tip. Feels totally natal like I was born with it. The great thing is I don't have to dialate, but I can if I want more fingers in there. The recovery was super fast and I was walking the very minute waking up from surgery. The only difference between my surgery and the usual, is that there's no pelvic floor trauma and it's simply tied off in a different place that's more comfortable
I accidentally had the first full body climax at work three months after surgery. I was trying to walk and felt the euphoria like just got high off morphine and could barely walk. Just from using the restroom.
@@dianeattaway8733 Hi, Diane, I'm reviewing my options and yours seems the best one for me because of my age. Where did you get the surgery done? Is this type of option available from all surgeons? Thanking you in advance. Blessings your way.
Dr Raphael at AI4PS did mine. He even thanked me for choosing the shallow depth as it's a lot less trauma and maintenance. Amazing experience. It was like walking in, waking up, and feeling freedom down there. Was able to walk the minute I woke up! The only problem I had was not taking the anti nausea meds right away, which is highly recommended! I haven't heard of anyone with problems with shallow depth, but the horror stories of full depth and constant dialating seem to be more often than not.
Thank you for this video iam a 61 year old transgender woman and just got my top surgery 2 weeks ago everything is going well. But now my focus is preparing for the bottom surgery next year i hope and iam still on the fence on deciding on zero depth or full vaginalplast. I have a whole lot more soul searching before this happens. Thank you xoxo Ealane
zero depth meets all my needs @ my age and no desire for anything but looking my gender in that region. I understand not for everyone but its exactly why I contacted your office because of the interest in this.
What do you feel down there if you dont mind me asking (since you are already talking about it online). Do you still get feelings or after surgery nothing?
@arjun I had the minimal depth surgery and am quite happy. I can still have a clitoral orgasm which can be quite intense. I still dilate with what depth I do have which is about 2 inches.
Dr. Gallagher - thank you for posting this video. I have been able to find very little information on this procedure, and while I wish this video was more detailed, I am thankful for whatever I can find. I am 62 years old, and diabetic, and with these two factors against me, I am very worried about possible complications from a full-depth vaginoplasty. Also, I have been on estradiol therapy since July 2016, and had a bilateral orchiectomy (inguinal approach) in September 2018, with the result that my penis has shrunk so much that I probably no longer have enough tissue there to form a neo-vagina without using a skin graft. I have a friend, age 55, who had her vaginoplasty last year and ran into a lot of problems: sutures that took a lot longer to heal than expected and that became infected about 4 weeks post-op, a severe UTI, a lot of granulation tissue, and a significant amount of the implanted tissue became necrotic and did not heal well. The illustrations I have seen of full depth vaginoplasty make it clear that the placement of the neo-vagina is very, very close to both the colon and the bladder, and the risk of a fistula seems high. Due to my age, I already was no longer sexually active when I transitioned, so the zero-depth option looks like it will offer relief from my dysphoria regarding "male parts", and have less risk. I'll be getting my surgery from Kaiser in San Francisco, with Dr. Salim and Dr. Thomas.
You and I are in exactly the same boat. Taking the shallow depth option is by far the wisest and safest approach. I believe that achieving orgasm is an important aspect of post SRS surgery. However, it should NOT be the only, or most important reason for getting bottom surgery. What should be THE most important reason for obtaining SRS is simply achieving the vital communion between body, mind and soul that relieves the crushing pain of dysphoria. Period. God bless you, Laura Ann in your journey.
Honest to God. I cannot believe there are folks with so many decades of life experience, STILL wanting sexual plastic surgery. I guess you do you. This comment won't last a week on this page anyway, if that long. Wow. Did you all learn nothing?
@@wrmlm37 The simple fact of the matter is that we have a strong desire to have our body parts align with our gender identity. If your body parts already align with your gender identity, that's great, and that applies to the majority of people - it's why most people are not trans. I suspect that cis people imagine the operation being carried out on themselves, and in their case, it would be changing their body parts so that they no longer align with their gender identity. Testosterone is the most hideous, insidious, filthy, toxic, evil, and dangerous substance known to humanity, and when mixed with ethanol its propensity, intensity, speed and degree of destructive potential increases and multiplies exponentially while defying all control and containment. The magnificent day that I succeeded in permanently reducing my blood serum testosterone levels to the absolute bare minimum needed to maintain my body as healthy, and increasing my blood serum estrogen levels consistently to at no less than those of a normal thirteen year old girl I reached and secured permanent nirvana, peak attainable health and mental clarity and a heavenly state of consistent joy, joviality, vivaciousness, suprahuman wisdom and powers, and a total mastery over beauty and prettiness that only a scant few of humans will ever know! I had never even imagined how exquisitely fabulous a future of permanent, irreversible, full-time, less-than-zero-masculinity would be!
