This is such a good idea! I live in Ireland and can’t get hold of saltfish, so I’ll try making my fritters with mackerel. Thanks for another great recipe.
Thanks Chef. Could I use fresh or salted mackrel? Please advice . In quarantine and your videos are so helpful. Already tried the codfish fritters twice , mother's day oxtail, and stewed chicken 😘😘all delicious
Flour? I use bread crumbs, mayo, raw egg, spices and the veggies. And I usually use salmon, but it can be substituted for the mackerel. Makes a wet patty (not runny) that I can shape in my hand, to fry. Flour can drown out flavor because of its consistency, especially with such little bit of fish being used here. Don’t skimp on the fish to where the fish to flour ratio is so off. Otherwise you’re eating fish infused flour fritters. If using flour, at least add more fish. I would have used the whole pack in this case and maybe one more piece. Happy eating!
Hi chef...your food looks delicious and I think you would get lots more views if your videos weren’t so long. People want QUICK and instant...not long videos. Maybe could try pre-chopping, pre-measuring since most people know how to do that already. Also, cut out the middle part of the cooking and just show the start and end. Not trolling...just want you to get the views you deserve.

I like the videos in details. Step by step but yes he could pre chopped the ingredients 👍
