Superb. Love all Sinn watches. Just to be contrary, I prefer the LE version. It looks waaaaay thinner and smaller than the specs suggest. Cracking review Mr B.
There are very close ties between the two companies in fact Helmut Sinn took over Guinand watches in the 90s, but the 156 has looked the same for over 40 years with Sinn
Nice reissue. The one thing that has always put me off the 156 is the width of the bezel, it's a bit too much in proportion to the dial size for my personal taste.
@@ClickSpringReview what I meant by boring is more too ironically😅 this 156.1 seems different of their lates issues, for my opinion....looks stunning.i work for an airline, living in fra and my house no. is 104...i could not resist to buy a sinn 104 st sa (my first automatic). i love 3 hands and i' m addicted to day date. i also stand in front of the sinn store as often as i could at römer to stare at the black u50.I i also like the hanhart 417 and squale (the older bundeswehr version)…they are also nice
@@puttapongkissener3729 Sorry I understand now 🤦🏻♂ I used to work at Opel design centre in Rüsselsheim so used to get the train into Frankfurt every weekend
The only problem with the original is the 5100 movement as there is a lack of spare parts available for them these days Nathan, this is worrying as I own that movement myself in the EZM1
The strap is ok but I would replace it with a leather strap fitted to a Sinn clasp like the custom ones in this video I did a couple of days ago th-cam.com/video/lNiIzxH9ibw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=rk8xrLfl0d0yoI_k
Nice review Barry, what a cracking looking watch, the crystal reminds me of the U2 with the depth of the glass, lovely!
Chess Steve and interesting point I personally think this is one of Seiko best releases in a long time
First! Wrist check- you wearing a Fortis not Laco but you probably know that 😂. Nice review, nice watch.
I only picked it up the day before and for some silly reason I just came out with Laco LOL
Oof that jumping hour hand is dope ✨
Does look good Nathan 👍🏻
At 5:28 the watch dial appears to have a different date window, no?
Yes you right I took photos of the LE model and this at the same time and looks like I accidentally used one of them for the lume shot, well spotted
That scalloping on the back to thin out the look of the case should be adopted across their whole range- what a difference!
Yeah exactly, good case design can make all the difference 👍🏻
I have a Sinn 140 St Sa and the SZ01 movement with central chronograph minutes is a lot of fun..
I don't have one myself but I do have the 5100 and SZ02
Superb. Love all Sinn watches. Just to be contrary, I prefer the LE version. It looks waaaaay thinner and smaller than the specs suggest. Cracking review Mr B.
Thank you say I've try and get the Le review out for next Thursday matey
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the new 156.1 in this video. Greetings from #sinncity Frankfurt!
Cheers guys and thanks again for the new 156 👍🏻
❤❤❤
Looks good on the hand
Cheers 😊
Great Sinn watch, i hope i can see it one time in real life
Your going to be impressed with you get to, as its a real stunner 👍🏻
Great looking watch. I want one!
It really is their range just keeps getting better and better
This Sinn seems to share design cues with Guinand watches. Very nice! Not trying to start anything, just a casual observation.
Check their history. Guinand used to manufacture for Sinn. :)

I can see what you mean there, but I think its part of it charm but good point
One step closer to a 40mm Titanium EZM1 reissue 🙏😂
God I hope not, then I'll have to find another £5k for that reissue 😁
I think many people would like that Sir
😁😁😁
not a boring watch by sinn! I like the asymmetrical subdial very much. as well as the inscription of the city where i live😍👍🏼…but 4k for the watch😅
My Step daughter lives there also, 4k I'd say is a good price
@@ClickSpringReview In one of your vdo you mentioned, that you build mockups? in ingolstadt...that's the only thing what i remember. cheers
Ive never heard anyone say Sinn watches are boring over tech filled yes boring is a first 👍🏻 out of interest which watches do you like ??

Damn that's a serious watch!!
It feels it to, its Sinn doing what they do best
Like all Sinn ! I’ve a 105 UTC black and I love it
@@myZisfantastic I reviewed that one about a year or so ago as I remember
I still don’t know if I prefer this or the original 156. Probably the original with the 5100 but this one is very very well done!
The only problem with the original is the 5100 movement as there is a lack of spare parts available for them these days Nathan, this is worrying as I own that movement myself in the EZM1
@@ClickSpringReviewthat’s probably true but if I’m not mistaken Sinn still has plenty of service parts for the 5100 in Frankfurt.
@@nathanwabre When I spoke to them some time ago they say they were running low on parts Nathan
Watch looks great.
It really is, I think I prefer it to the Le model
looks neat. I didn't know they ran that movement in anything other than the 140
I believe it was also fitted to the EZM10 👍🏻
Yep its true
Sinn …. “The Garmin” of mechanical watches ❤
😁😁😁👍🏻
Hi Barry, this is fantastic, although the size would make it marginal for me. LG Bob 🍻 🍻 🍻
On the wrist its pretty comfortable but if you opt for the bracelet it does turn into a heavy weight at around 200g Bob 🙃
Another winner!
Yeah I think so to, it feels different to many of the other models but still very much Sinn
It looks very German. Tough and overbuilt watch made for males. I like it sooo much
Your typically Sinn tool watch I'd say :)
Love the movement. Just not a huge fan of the watch itself.
Have you ever got hands on with the 140? Never seen on in person.
Unfortunately I've never been lucky enough to get my hands on a 140 :(
fantastic watch but needs a better strap.
The strap is ok but I would replace it with a leather strap fitted to a Sinn clasp like the custom ones in this video I did a couple of days ago th-cam.com/video/lNiIzxH9ibw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=rk8xrLfl0d0yoI_k
Damasko DC86: hold my beer
Tough one but I think I prefer the colour of the Sinn more so
❤
Thanks Scott
