Picked up a MaMacoo's watch as my first watch last month and I’m absolutely in love with it. Perfect size, looks elegant, very comfortable. Now my only problem is holding off from buying more watches so quickly!
My watch was purchased 2 years ago from amzwatch and, to this day, it still looks and runs as well as it did the day it arrived. That movement has never missed a beat despite never having been serviced. I can't complain about that.
Love the new red CW collaboration. I would totally buy it, but I genuinely think the Bel Canto needs painted/blued/contrasting hand colors or plated hands for the legibility. So glad that you’re engaged with that Collab though as the true blue CW Stan…you’ve earned the collab with your genuine enthusiasm.

I'm back in financial stability and considering getting back in line, but all of the photos I've seen of the Nero have it looking more grey than black. got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on amzwatch 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.

You entirely forgot to mention the 1971 Seiko Pogue, and the 1960s Acutron Astronaut with the tuning fork. The Bulova Lunar Pilot is at least still made. It's manual wind prototype was seen strolling around in the vicinity of Hadley Rille. (You might be picking up on a recent theme in my collection...) Sadly that plastic abomination you mentioned remains my poor substitute for the 1968 pre-moon that I am lusting after but cannot afford, at least until I find one at the flea market. Perhaps fodder for a future episode? Or even vintage watches in general.

I've owned and worn my Pepsi GMT [no. 2] for 41 years, and my one watch for 32+ years. The Speedmaster [no. 3] was always the other watch I wanted for decades, and I finally purchased one in 2018. In 2019 I got a dress watch, my JLC Reverso, which did make this list, but not the model a mere human can afford. No matter, two out of three and in the top five is still a winner in my book. It was Andrew's Watchfinder videos in 2018 that sent me down the horological rabbit hole.
Andrew is the top dog of watch journalism. Most of those best watches are either too expensive or unobtainable A top 100 of watches that people wear 500 to 3000 dollars would be great
One thing you're spot on about, Andrew, is that dozens of watches deserve to be ranked higher than the Submariner. Another thing you got right is that the Speedmaster Moonwatch belongs in the top 5, and always will.
Agree with your top 100, 100%. As far as the Bel Canto is concerned, I wanted one in dark blue…and I can’t get one (unless I agree to pay 2x the cost of a new one for a used watch)! So I will never own a Christopher Ward watch because they insist on playing color games with their products. The red however is quite nice, except for the 25cent strap it comes with.
