Thanks again for sharing what you know. You should consider publishing a video course on turning. You are a great teacher.
Maybe one day!
An excellent discussion Mike. I think you covered the subject quite well. 👍👍Thank you for sharing.🙂🙂
Very welcome
Mike, I've bought a few things you recommend from Amazon. I want you to get your "credit" by using your store, but I can't find out for to get to your store in the Amazon app.
How can I give you "credit" for what I buy?
Also, I made a pill box based off your tutorial tonight!!! Thank you so much for taking the time to teach us. You're a good guy.
Thanks for your support. The easiest way is to open up Amazon using the link in the video description or www.amazon.com/shop/mikepeacewoodturning then the link inside to see the items.
Thanks Mike for another great explanation.
Question, with a tenon on side grain, would that be weak? would you be better with a mortise?
You may want to watch the two videos I did fairly recently in my playlist on chucking wood. One is on the recess and one is on using a tenon. Both work if you do them properly. I always use a tenon on bowls.
Yes sir I'm new to wood turning I have a question after I turn a piece of green wood to a bowl what do I put on it to seal to keep from cracking thanks
I use a wax emulsion called Anchorseal. Watch this video th-cam.com/video/Jl5qbtOTpt8/w-d-xo.html
