i made this. She says it is just as good as take-out. Wow. I couldn't believe how good it was. I had an Easter rib roast so I used the trimmings (ribeye) and served it over rice. FANTASTIC!
Thank you so very much Stacey for sharing and teaching us Westerners how to make amazing Asian dishes! I made the beef and broccoli today, I cannot find Tri-Tip roast in my area so I substituted with flat iron steak. My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner and will be making it again tomorrow. This recipe is better than takeout from any restaurant locally!!! As a matter of fact, we haven’t gone out to eat our favorite meal because we have been so disappointed in the quality. You truly are a blessing and again thank you so much for sharing ❤
I made this last night for myself and my 22-year-old daughter. This recipe came out absolutely delicious. It’s way better than panda express. I couldn’t believe it. I can add this to my recipe book. I made it last night with chicken chow mein and chicken fried rice, such a wonderful dinner.
This was delicious. I added mushrooms and toasted sesame seeds. My husband says this is your best recipe but he says that every time I make one of yours. I love all the ones I’ve tried.
Stacy! Thank you so much for sharing your recipes! I have used several of them and they turn out so good! So glad there is people like you that can spread their great recipe knowledge for the rest of the world! ❤❤
I made this great recipe today. I sauteed two diced onions and two peppers lightly, along with two teaspoons of minced ginger root. I set that aside; then in the same pan, I fried up the meat as per the recipe, (with a splash of white wine) but not so much water. Made some rice in the rice cooker and at the last two minutes of cooking added two cups of frozen brocolli. When the meat was done I added the onions and peppers into the pan. Oh boy! Was it good! Next time I'll add some toasted almonds and mushrooms. YES!!
This is such a great recipe. It uses a lot of techniques and ingredients I've seen in many Asian dishes over the years, yet the dish is so simple and delish. I didn't have dark soy sauce or oyster sauce.. which are staples, so I substituted fish sauce and hoisin. I also doubled the recipe for meal prepping. So my dish has a different flavor but it's still so good. That tells me that the measurements in this recipe are spot On. Some staple ingredients in Asian cuisine have really strong flavors (like the rice wine) and this recipe uses just the right amount so that it doesn't overwhelm the dish. Very beginner friendly. Can't wait to look at the other videos on this channel.
I made your Cabbage and Beef stir fry, and it was absolutely delicious!!! My husband and I had it for 2 days in a row. Our favorite is Beef and Broccoli and you have made me soooo happy sharing your delicious recipes and they are quite simple to make. Thank you so very much much and I look forward to trying more delicious recipes ❤
Looks great--love stir fry! Going to try this plant-based as I have a family history of Cancer so need to avoid the igf-1, BLV and DDT in meat. Thanks for posting
Masya Allah LOVELY. The whole family members love it, my husband love it most. I tried this recipe today with 500 g beef, 9 cloves of crushed garlic, 2 inches of ginger. I use halal apple vinegar, sweet soy sauce, light soy sauce, oyster sauce, coarse black pepper, broccoli, carrot, spring onion, half anion, water, corn starch, cooking oil and no additional sugar added.
I truly appreciate your writing the ingredients needed in the comments section. My husband is Chinese and your recipes seem authentic cantonese food we eat. I am about to try this recipe for the first time. 🤞Thank you.
The only thing I did differently was add homemade chicken stock instead of water, and I like a wee bit more sauce the measurement came to 3/4 cup of stock; instead of that 1/8 of a cup I used 1/4 and it made just enough extra sauce, it wasn't swimming.
Stacey, I made this for dinner tonight, except I used a different cut of meat and quadrupled the recipe. Oh my God! It was so good! You are right. Its much better that the restaurant food. I am never going to order this again. Thank you so much for sharing.
When i cooked your recipe, it made me feel like Chinese cooking isn't as scary as I thought. Thank you so much and I can't wait to make more of your recipes now!
I've done a lot of Asian cooking and some of it is really overwhelming, esp if you are buying the ingredients for the first time. But this recipe really is easy and delicious.
Love it. Easy for a single with lots of leftovers. I add sriracha sauce to the last round of ingredients. Also mushrooms and bok choy if I have them already. Delicious
Very nice! I had intended to make this dish tonight but I did not get the right ingredients so I will have to improvise. Look forward to making this the right way in the future
Stacy...............why you did not add any corn starch to the water at the end like all other Asian dishes? Love your videos. Just subscribed. Tri Pham in San Jose, CA USA

I followed your video and my grandchildren loved the way it turned out, broccoli cook just right and the beef is tender. Thank you Stacy.

Is 8 tsp of cornstarch really needed? Seems alot for 300g of beef.
