I like to cook fun things from time to time, and I just made this recipe tonight for my GF. She said it was the best thing I have ever made! Thank you!!
The best thing about Aaron and Claire's recipes are that they are *always* great! I never have to worry "will I like this?" the first time I try it. Tonight I felt like beef and broccoli so I looked it up on TH-cam with "Aaron and Claire" and here we are. It was excellent!
This recipe is fantastic! I made it last night for my family of 5. They loved it! I had other recipes for Beef and Broccoli, but this one is the best. The beef is SO tender (I used top round steak which can be tough if not cooked properly). I put the steak in the freezer for a little while which made it easier to slice; as well as used a sharp knife. The broccoli was tender yet crunchy at the same time. I don't like raw, hard broccoli in a cooked dish. I've deleted my other beef and broccoli recipes and kept this one because it tastes authentic! Thank you for sharing!
I just made this recipe tonight with my partner! It was so easy and absolutely delicious! beef & broccoli has always been a favorite of mine and now I have the power to make it at home even better than the restaurants! Thank you for sharing your love for cooking Aaron, you're my kitchen hero ❤️
How wonderful to watch Aaron cook amazing recipes, then observe Claire eating and reviewing the wonderful dishes- you 2 are a great team!!! Thank you for your wonderful content!!! ♥️🌺
I cooked with a wok for the first time tonight, and this was the dish I went with! I used asparagus and mushrooms instead of broccoli and carrots, as that's what I had on hand, and it was absolutely delicious! My fiance and I were blown away! Thanks so much! Have a haul of staples from the local Asian market, and can't wait to dive into your other videos!
I made this dish, a scallion kimchi pancake, and gamja jorin last night for a small film crew touring our rural desert county. Thanks Aaron and Claire, now I have the reputation of serving the best dinner they had on their trip!
I have to say, I've been making beef and broccoli (almost weekly) for years, and the way I do it is so extremely close to what Aaron does here, I'm proud. Agreed, he's showing you the BEST way to make it. I always leave my beef in the marinade over night too!
I made this beef and broccoli (along with Aaron and Claire’s fried rice) last night for a dinner with friends and it came out amazing! It truly hit the craving spot for all of us who were in the mood for an authentic Asian dish. Thank you for this and all of your delicious recipes. I can’t wait to make more!
My mother wanted me to cook some broccoli and beef for her. It's one of her favorite dishes. She sent me this video. It turned out perfect! She is beyond happy! I forgot the sesame oil, so I added sesame seeds and a dab of butter instead. It tastes wonderful on white rice!
I can literally watch aaron and claire all day!!! Ive made this recipe 2x now and the second time made it, it was even better! My fiancé loved it when i made this dish!! Keep the videos coming!!!❤️
I made this tonight. It came out good. I made alteration, like double up the sauce as i have lots of vegetables and meat and also added yellow onions on top of the green onions. We ate a lot. Keeping this recipe thank you!
This recipe is simple and delicious. I’ve made it so many times I’ve memorized it. I also include thinly sliced half of a white onion (root to stem slicing) and add it toward the end of the beef fry, and only use the green ends of the green onions as green garnish at the end and save the white ends for something else. Using asparagus tips instead of broccoli sounds terrific, I’ll have to try that.
Thank you for the recipe! I made this for dinner a few weeks ago for my husband and father in law they could not stop talking about it and they said it’s better then take out and I couldn’t agree more!!! Bless your soul ❤
I made this tonight with a couple tweaks. I had matchstick carrots and snow peas. I like mine a little saucier, so did 1.5 times for the sauce ingredients. So good! Love your cooking videos! Thanks 👍
Once again Aaron, you nail one of the most favorite and popular dishes here in the US. It does look easy and I'll be making this soon. Then to top it off, like a good desert, we get to watch Claire foreshadow our enjoyment. You two are an awesome duo.
Aaron, I bought the same ingredients on Amazon. I am going to give your recipe a try. Your dishes look stunning and delicious and my husband loves Korean, Asian, Chinese and etc food.
This was amazing ! I used saké instead of the Chinese wine, and improved it with some fresh noodles and extra vegetables. I must say the sauce coats fresh noodles extremely well !!
I made this particular recipe tonight, and it's a keeper. Delicious and tasty. I substituted shaoxing wine with sake, and it worked. Thanks for sharing your recipe.
We've been enjoying your channel for a while now and have made a few of your recipes. We enjoy the format and your happy and positive delivery. Today i made this beef broccoli, complete with star carrots (5 instead of 4 wedges makes a fun star and I diced the wedges too for extra color and texture). It was so good we followed your link and bought a copy of your book to help support.
Made this tonite w/ calrose rice on the side. Now don’t get mad, but I substituted hoisin for sugar, and Better Than Broth for the powder. Didn’t have ginger, so put ground ginger in sauce. Oh - Emm - Gee! That was so good! Will definitely put this in the top 5 of my recipes! YUMMY!! This would stand up to any Asian restaurant easily.
I made this and make a mistake my blind self used Korean bbq instead of the oyster sauce I have to say even tho it was a mistake it tasted delicious!! I love this recipe I make it at least once a week. Thank you so much Aaron
Just made this. If anything, it's TOO good - my extra effort with the carrot went completely unnoticed. I couldn't get the same cut of beef but used rib eye and it was delicious. Thank you!
Aaron is so hilarious -- "sorry Italians, we eat more garlic than you guys...." Hahaha! In addition to this great recipe, I love the sense of humor all throughout! It makes it fun to listen and learn from you! Thank you!
Can't wait to try this! Your recipes are always amazing! Recently made the bibimbap and everyone in my family lovedd it!. Thank you for making your recipes as accessible as possible for us. I'm in Pakistan, so Korean ingredients are harder to come by or are super expensive!
Made this the other night, but used chicken and it tasted like it came from a great restaurant. Thank you for sharing these, loving the food I'm making now, even learning to cook with *gasp* "MSG". Again thank you.
I made this today and impressed my friends. Very easy to follow your recipe online and tasted lovely. I was treated to an impression of Claire taste testing but they didn’t do the washing up !
I seriously like my beef and broccoli more than take out. The meat is always too chewy, I only use the best meat. I definitely need to start adding carrots to mine.
WOW, I tried this last night and it came out amazing. Much better than the broccoli beef I had been making. Also, I added some siracha to the sauce to add some zing, it was great. MANY THANKS!!!!!
I just got back from the grocery store where I got supplies for my Asian Cooking adventure, thanks to you Aaron and Claire!!! So happy that TH-cam suggested your channel!

What can I use in place of sesame oil because my grandson is allergic to seeds, peanuts and tree nuts?! Or do I have to add that type of oil to the dish?! Oh and it looks so scrumptious! Thank you!
I like to cook fun things from time to time, and I just made this recipe tonight for my GF. She said it was the best thing I have ever made! Thank you!!

Made this the other night, but used chicken and it tasted like it came from a great restaurant. Thank you for sharing these, loving the food I'm making now, even learning to cook with *gasp* "MSG". Again thank you.
Love your recipes/show/sense of humor! What kind of Wok are you using? Thanks!
I made this today and impressed my friends. Very easy to follow your recipe online and tasted lovely. I was treated to an impression of Claire taste testing but they didn’t do the washing up !
MSG is Naturally in vegetables. adding a little more for flavor is fine. 😎
I seriously like my beef and broccoli more than take out. The meat is always too chewy, I only use the best meat. I definitely need to start adding carrots to mine.
Good choice!😎👍
Omg this came out so good! Only thing I was missing was the dark soy sauce however it still came out delicious!

What can I use in place of sesame oil because my grandson is allergic to seeds, peanuts and tree nuts?! Or do I have to add that type of oil to the dish?! Oh and it looks so scrumptious! Thank you!
Sesame oil is usually for extra flavor, you can leave it out. Still gonna be good, don’t worry! 😍
@@AaronandClaire Whew! I was worried for a bit there! Thank you! 😊
It looks amazing and I’m not much of a cook and wonder if you can use mirin instead of shaoxing cooking wine?
My eyes were drawn to the carrot flowers right away. I was impressed.
MSG is always a game changer for awesome flavor
"you'll need 4 ingredients" proceeds to put 125 different ingredients
You only need to BUY 4 ingredients. The rest you will already have at home 😅
lol for real
😂
Great video love the recipe❤❤❤❤
I wanted to let you that I bought your cookbook and it came today. I cannot wait to try out the recipes!
Hey, excellent recipe; been trying to get a good Beef & Broccoli recipe for a while now, and this one is the first that I've really been happy with.
