Tbh PT isn't that bad a mu for DK. The mu is as follows:
Squirtle out-framedata's DK hard, but his air speed is slow and he's light. So one missed move = tonnes of damage or death.
Ivysaur has nicer advantage moves, but worse disadvantage moves. Ivy is quite similar to squirtle with the poor air speed, and DK can outrange Ivy, so same one mistake is stock.
Charizard has better air speed, but has almost no safe moves, and he's combo food. Just wait a little, Charizard's frame data isn't good enough to not leave openings
