I'm sorry but Cassidy fired Andre for the sole reason that he gave her son constructive criticism...why the Hell did he not immediately sue her for wrongful termination? Criticizing one of the employees is not a good reason to fire someone, especially if Andre was doing it simply to help her son improve his cooking skills. The moment she fired him, he should've sued her for wrongful termination. But thinking about after watching this episode, I guess what actually happened to her was a much more fitting punishment...just sucks for all the other innocent chefs now out of a job, hopefully they can all bounce back like Andre did
Because in America you can be fired for anything as long as it's not a protected reason. E.g I can't be fired for being a woman. I can be fired for being an ugly woman. Or wearing glasses, calling in sick or any other reason. America has almost no workers rights

If someone is fired for they're gender, race or orientation. Also if someone got hurt at work (I'm talking hospitalization, physical therapy, and out of work pay) and the boss fires them to avoid paying out workman's comp.
