SAW files are referred to as saw files because they are used to sharpen saws, hand made files are still available but just not worth the cost, they are not that much better if at all to quality machine made files

@@drsyn1699 You could use a wood or plastic hammer. 😀
Just FYI, the best riffler files are still made one tooth at a time by hand hammer and point chisel. Used mostly for wood. 😃Great vid .

I always pick up tools at yard sales, if I can't use them in my studio my husband can use them in his shop.
