      Fully agree, plus I wanted to see how much Samsung would take it back if I upgrade to the S23 ultra, they offered me less than 400€ for the 512GB version which is rediculous. So definitely the upgrade isn't worth it

      @@abdennour001 It's honestly such a scam that they don't offer more for the 512GB model given most other companies give you more for more storage and it has more RAM than the smaller storage models. 1200 bucks down to 400 after just 2 years, yikes!

      Hi, I just purchased an S21 Ultra and am wondering what the best screen protector to use? I heard tempered glass is pretty bad with it due to the curve so I was considering the TPU layers but am not sure if they'd be helpful for drops? I also bought the Spigen tough armour case for it.

    • @JaY_PLaY_YT
      @JaY_PLaY_YT ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@FROSTB4NE personally I use the glass with the liquid adhesive that uses the UV light to cure the liquid adhesive. It might be difficult to put on, but I have had the same screen protector on my phone since the 1st day. No cracking or issues with it coming off the phone's screen. This is by far the best screen protector I've used mostly because every other one I've used has either cracked over time or started to separate from the screen. Glass with the liquid adhesive is the way to go with this. Just be careful to not go over speakers or microphone ports before curing it with the UV light and youre good to go.

  • @perfectsniper09
    @perfectsniper09 ปีที่แล้ว +9

    I switched from S21 ultra to the S23 ultra. I noticed 3 differences.
    1) The S23 ultra is bigger. It's slightly thicker. Slightly taller & wider. I was a big fan of the note series & for them to integrate it with the S series, I can live with that.
    2) better processor. Performs smoother. It does not get as warm as its predecessors. Pulls up apps & other programs as faster
    3) This is a big one for me because my previous note 10+ & S21 ultra, had this issue with the way I use them. The battery life is better. I understand that both of its predecessors have the same battery capacity, but because of the new snapdragon processor, the phone lasts a little longer. Plus, it charges slightly faster because it goes from 45 watts to 30 watts to 25 watts with a compatible charging box.
    If you're more of a note series person like I am, then get this phone. I'm not big on the flip or fold series. I also got the 512 GB model just in case if anyone is wondering. I hope this helps

    • @anthonyg5699
      @anthonyg5699 ปีที่แล้ว

      how much better would you say the s23 ultras battery life is ? I'm considering getting one of them upgrading from the note 9 but dont particularly feel like spending almost 3 times as much on the s23 vs the s21

    • @perfectsniper09
      @perfectsniper09 ปีที่แล้ว

      @anthonyg5699 There's a noticeable difference. I used to have the note 9 for a year when it came out in 2018. Then I got note 10+ the following year & that was just slightly better, but mainly with the processing unit & storage. The S21 ultra had no noticeable improvements compared to the note 10+. In fact, I think it was a slight downgrade. It had 5G capability but that was it. It didn't come with an S pen so it was bummer & I felt as if the battery died faster compared to the previous ones I had.
      Now to your question. It's significantly better. Though it has the same battery size, the new snapdragon processing unit makes a world of a difference since they used to use equinox on the previous ultras. Phones run smoother when multitasking & it takes more now to get it to get warm. Compared to my S21 ultra, it would get warm fast just by using tiktok alone. I can not tell how frustrating it was seeing my battery life drain from that. But now, with the S23 ultra it's not as bad . From what I've seen on other reviews, the 256 GB 8 ram model is not bad either.
      If you go with S21, it will be slightly better than your note 9 but you will be sacrificing your s pen. It will come with an option with a higher refresh rate on your screen though. The cameras will be better but they way they stick out is annoying when it comes to wireless charging. It will feel heavier but that's normal as all the new flagship 5G phones are noticeably heavier.
      I understand that at the end of the day, it all comes to the price. & to be very honest, none of these past flagship phones price are justified because they're all about the same in most ways. Believe it or not, the S23 ultra is the first phone that I do not regret buying & since the note 10+. Also, a word of advice, regardless of which one you get, it may not come with the USB type c charging box. Since they've been out for awhile now, they're cheaper now around $10 - $15 on Amazon. Sorry for book

    I think the camera performance of the s23 ultra will improve with updates. A camera comparison in 6 to 9 months would be interesting. Those who are still satisfied with the 21 ultra do not need an update. I personally hate the Exynos and would update for that reason alone. I bought the 23 Ultra in the 512 GB version. While the S21 Ultra was a great device, the s23 ultra is definitely a noticeable upgrade. It's faster, runs cooler, takes better pictures, and much better videos and lasts much longer. Even with the Snapdragon variant, the S21 Ultra did lag in some areas and had quite often dropped frames and stutters when opening closing applications quickly. These issues are almost all completely fixes with the s23. That was my main reason for upgrading. Also, despite both variants having 12gb of RAM, I noticed that my 23 Ultra almost never has to reload applications in memory. Some people don't notice these things but I did all the time and it's worth the upgrade for me.
