Awesome review, I greatly appreciated your shots of wearing and walking on them! Even if it's short, it really takes your reviews where others don't. Bravo!

apparently they have a new last from what ive read/heard, maybe thatll deal with the fit issues youve described when talking about them in your best dress shoes 2022 either way, they look like great value and looking forward for more amazing videos :)
I had a Blake stitched suede single monk strap. which I loved. Enjoyed the review - bravo. Did I mention that I'm excited about a recent shoe purchase? Thanks Tony
I found tlb more consistent and far easier to fit. The leather on my yearn pair was a little meh in some areas. There won’t be an advantage just because they are handmade, in the end go for aesthetics both will be good shoes!
I got the shoes. Didng get the topys and trimiph guards, only the trimiph guards. Bit annoying! But maybe for the best since i discovered leather oils sole protectors Apart from that, fantastic. Ill have to write in again soon to see how i get along with them after a month. Slight heel slippage on the right foot. Though it probably is expected. I cant fit the finger tip into the shoe. It just needs wear in the inner heel The shoes felt like i was wearing slippers. super light and comfy. Comfiest pairs i own.
There is a price difference and it shows. My Yeossal is one of the nicest shoes I have and one of the best rtw fits. Then again it cost much more than this!
i really like those shoes and I too love monkstraps. I really wanted double monkstraps for my starter shoes, but had to settle on the single one, as it was the only one available and was in a sale. Since then, I have yet to own a pair of double monk strapped one. And to be honest, I think the single strap is the best. It's girthier and easier to strap on and off. Double monkstraps feel finicky and as you say, 3 monk straps just an idiot strap. I think I'm going to have to be unoriginal and simply ask for your style shoe in my size. A super solid design.
@@MisiuAcademy I have a question if you can answer about fit. This is the Lazyman shoes they do at Yearn. I find when I try on their shoes it makes that vaccum sound. Which seems like a solid fit already. The last of the shoes have a low instep. Whereas I've been told I have a high instep. But I haven't had much verification on that. I just can't tell if the shoes are too tight or if its just snug across the vamp / instep or not. It fits perfectly everywhere else. A few sides of me is thinking this. Maybe the shoe will slightly stretch overtime across the instep region, which will turn this into the most comfortable pair. It does create the smallest tingling vibrations in my largest foot, if I'm sitting down resting my foot. There's no pain, not when walking or standing or what not. I haven't tried stepping on the toes. It feels like a 3 second pulse vibration. Do you know what this is? I've read guide and it seems like this should be a good fit due to the vaccum, but I wonder if it's the same useless tip as the shirt collar trick. Where you place two fingers between your neck and shirt collar, and you can tell if its too big or too snug, it's a widely spoken advice yet not useful at all. The shoe feels like an excellent fit no problems at all while standing up, or walking around while not bending my toes. When sitting down in a relaxed position, thats when I get a bit of tingling on my largest foot. Maybe I need to go half a size up for it. That's what I'm thinking. or a different last. or a shoe that has a normal lacing system, rather than a Lazyman lacing system. EDITED: I'm going to go half a size up and go from there, and order a size 9 UK and half a size up of their double monkstraps which are the same last, then go from there to get an idea of fit. It may be too long then, but I don't think this will be the case. In fact I'm measurement on 10.4 inches, which I think equates to a size 8 on their website, but due to my instep most shoes do not fit. It has to be a size 9 at this point. So in total 3 more pairs of shoes to try on... great!!! oof. this is why I hate ordering online shoes doh.
@@MisiuAcademy oh I found it on the Arterton site. One other question is it an elongated toe? Is there a lot of space between your toe and the front of the shoe?
i swear to God, i am extremely tempted to buy their Double Monk Strap shoes BUT BUT BUT the MAIN thing that is discouraging me is knowing that they are 'Made in China'....i wonder if they would even last more than a year considering that i walk around a lot.. anyone who experienced their Yearn shoe long lasting, please drop me some words of encouragement
