Hi, I am (a) Machiavellian Strategist, on my channel you will regularly find new videos on a variety of games. As you may have guessed, I like strategy oriented games the most, but my only rule is to play something I enjoy and I am passionate about.
I hope I will be able to share my passion for videogames with you!

Small quibble: No More Appeasement allows you to declare war on any country that has created world tension. It gives you a path to war with the Soviets after defeating Germany. Also, you can take it at one of two points: 1) before the Sudeten Crisis (you'll have to defend the Czechs) or 2) after the Sudeten Crisis (allowing you to declare war whenever you want from that point onward). It also gives access to a focus that speeds up the Imperial Conference if you want to do that path in the late game.
Hi! That's true, No More Appeasement allows for a more aggressive run (although we still can declare war on the USSR after defeating Germany even without it).
The main problem with it is that the stability hit from all those focuses is pretty massive. That's why I thought that if you plan to go for a more aggressive playstyle it would probably be better to just change ideology.
@@MachiavellianStrategist But the whole point is to stick to democracy and keep the allies! Stability is nice but losing it is no big deal it can always be recovered later. Being able to keep things fresh and play as an aggressive democratic nation is priceless.
@@MundaneThingsBackwards fair enough, I will definitely consider it for a future run!
@@MachiavellianStrategist Thanks! Keep up the great work. Using your tutorials to get back into the game after a long hiatus.
Another great video - and its my home country this time! Good stuff.
In the equipment design screen (like for T1, F1, etc.) I just noticed a little checkbox called "Display Dynamic Version Numbering". I think if you un-check it, you might solve your frustration with your version names getting re-named each time it's tech gets updated.
They just fixed that in one of the latest updates, but I had already recorded this guide, hopefully I won't need to get mad anymore from the next one haha
Hello After you Completed the Facist Uk run please make a guide about how to reform the persian empire step by step guide
I'll add that to my list for future videos for sure! Thank you for the suggestion!
@@MachiavellianStrategist ok Thank you!
yeaaaa!!! thanks!!!!!
You are welcome! Let me know how it goes!
Lets goooooo its finally here
We will be focusing on the UK for the next few weeks! A lot of content coming between the democratic and fascist guides!
Hey, I was following guide and I was confused as to why in my game I am so far behind on political power? Like I was always at least 1-2 months behind when taking advisors etc. and because of that I could not build enough factories and fill command staff before war started. I noticed in your game at certain points like 11:55 or 14:32 your political power just randomly increases by almost 30. Since there is no mention of that in the guide, what is the reason behind it? Are British puppets doing something behind the scenes or what, because there are no events and any in game information that this happens.
@@MajorDryhole hi! Thank you for your comment, someone mentioned a very similar issue for my democratic France guide. In that case the reason was a dlc (battle for the bosporus) that gives France some PP as a consequence of certain events in Turkey...
I wonder if the reason is similar (or maybe exactly the same) in this case too.
In either way, this should not be a huge problem with the overall strategy. You might be a little behind but we are not particularly in a hurry (as later on we will need to wait for the imperial conference in any case).
ah there we go
the last couple of times i've tried the USSR guide, poland spawns during my initial encirclements of Germany as a member of the allies and I don't get access to their airbases which made things not fun. Is there a way to prevent it besides accepting molotov pact or has something changed since your guide?
Thanks!
Hi! Paradox messed up something in one of their updates, so now some diplomatic interaction between the Allies and Germany causes Poland to weirdly respawn.
It is most likely a bug, but I am not sure if or when it will be fixed.
We should try to identify exactly what is causing it and when, if it is not too late into the war it might be worth waiting until after it before pushing into Poland.
Some viewers reported that it might happen when Denmark signs a white peace, but I still have to test it myself. I'll look into that after my fascist UK run!
Can you explain how you're getting Italy as a puppet in a bit more detail? I've played through from my save right before Italy is called into the war and every time France is holding onto the territory except for the toe of the boot and Sicily, which does go to the UK as a puppet. Is it just RNG or do I have to do something specific?
When the civil war in Italy starts, the "good" faction automatically becomes your puppet. Then both you and (AI) France get the message to transfer your territory back to Italy. They always accept, making all of Italy your puppet. The only issue with this is if "bad" Italy loses too fast after the civil war, in that case France doesn't have the time to give them back the land.
That's why in the video I was worried about pushing Italy too fast haha
@@MachiavellianStrategist Ahh, okay. I'll try again tomorrow morning. Thanks!
@@garyjohnson3252 let me know how it goes! Even if you capitulate Italy too fast it's still OK though, France usually prioritize giving the Italian territories back to Italy in the peace conference, so just focus on Germany as usual and France should do the work for you!
@@MachiavellianStrategist Got it first go this morning. Just had to get the timing down, as you did in your guide. On another note, what's the minimum war score you're going for? I ended up with 72% and the peace conference is being a real pain in the butt.
@@garyjohnson3252 72% seems alright, unfortunately we don't have much control over it... France loves to be incredibly annoying in that peace conference, I'm almost regretting not letting them capitulate before intervening...
I just did the civil war path and became super op in 1938 and took over the world before 1945 please tell me you did that path In the fascist one
No civil war, yes becoming super OP and taking over the world before 1945 (before 1942 I would say)!
Is this division good for a multiplayer game?
The tank division template and design I used in this video is amazing against infantry, but it will not perform well against proper armored divisions. So it really depends on your multiplayer game and your opponents.
It is not a good overall multiplayer meta template, since you would need higher armor, hard attack and piercing for a competitive multiplayer game.
@@MachiavellianStrategist thank you for your time bro , appreciate it , love your videos tho
@@alexanderguerraleiva5789 no problem, thank you!
