You really should do a world conquest man, i've done multiple now, they are very hard in my opinion the faster you get it done the better, after 1945 its almost impossible to complete because you do not have any more advantages in tech
Play Germany blitz GB with paratroopers early then war France let them overextend from Maginot encircle and destroy them Use CAS and fighters mid doctrine and then superior firepower with mass infantry artillery

Then you can use your huge mil count to beat the US through Canada and invade Japan at the same time. No where near the fastest way to do it, but even without exploits a world conquest isnt hard its just time consuming.

Have you tried putting other people there? Not counting the romanov way or the 3rd rome path, the right opossition can be really akward, but my favourite one so far was Zhukov, I have zero ideas how he ended up there, since i was playing ahistorical game as greece going for byzantium (you know, as you do), and at some point i got a message of something happening in the USSR and i see zhukov's portrait, I zoom over and he is the leader of the Party.
@@Pedro_Colicigno not as cursed, trotsky was exiled from the USSR since 1928 and was probably one of Stalin's worst opponent, Zhukov was a field marshal of the soviet union since 1943, though he wasn't involved in politics as much, that's a good one though x)
I haven’t played this in a couple years, but the fact that Stalins paranoia is a mechanic implies, at least to me, that Hitler’s crank addiction is also a fun mechanic with lots of flavor.

Interestlingly, regarding Order 66: It is now possible to justify on faction members and still order 66 your target. Thats how I brought down the Soviet Union as Tannu Tuva in '41

I have weird experience with this video. So I fell asleep while watching it and in my dream I was a Communist speedrunning some game with my smart moves to convert everything into communism and suddenly huge monster appears and so for my speedrun I ignore it and do some task to eventually destroy it with one hit. Okay, So, This guide is good and all but for anyone reading this there are moments "shown" in the video but not "Mentioned" until later (The consequence of this being you will most likely need to reset because the action was already "done" and not mentioned until later) My advice, Straight up mute the video and follow what is shown step by step exactly. Second by second. Action by action. Dont miss a single thing. That way you will not be distracted by the "details". Then you will have an accurate tutorial. Also if you are going to cheese the supply thing in the civil war by "giving and cancelling" to Italy in the land lease, Italy is a wild card, Keep an eye on their civil war. Watch Ethiopia's cities/towns, It wont take much to capitulate Ethiopia. Therefore ruining the cheese method of keeping all your guns for the civil war. Here’s my strategy: -Open console commands -tediously switch to each county, delete their air force, delete their navy, delete their units, and drain their manpower -use allowdiplo -declare war on every country -watch big sexy arrows destroy the planet -profit
you can beat hoi4 in under 10 seconds by opening up console immediately and running the command "annex all". this causes you to be the only nation on the planet.
@m3an : i watch your video 10 month too late but i noticed your question at 8:21, and didn't see anyone answer it so here is my (humble) answer : For HOI4 performances you have 4 things to consider : - For starting performance (& save loading) -> high storage bandwith allow game files to be loaded in RAM quicker, improving the time it take to launch the game or to load a saved game. usually prefer NVME storage type with high bandwith (~ 7000 Mo/s for the fastest customer grade NVME). Be careful that your motherboard need a specific port to take NVME. I have a Samsung 980, my game launch in a few seconds. - For in game performance (ie not slowing at a ridicule speed around 1945) -> CPU is the key here, the trouble didn't came from graphics but rather from heavy CPU load due to the game calculating air and sea dominance/battle around the world + thousands of troups everywhere + heavy indsutrial production/build in each country. That's why some performance improving mod disable minor country in south and central america. I have an AMD 5950x, i initialy buy it for virtualisation tasks but it perform very well with HOI4. All cores are used and i can have a playble game in 1968 with Allies, Axis and china pumping troups and planes (~150 milions death, i watch them destroy each other, sending volunteer to the loosing side only for science) - For graphic performance : obviously it's the GPU part, but HOI4 didn't need the last Nvidia flagship to perform well. I have an RTX 3070 and it's way overkill to run the game. If you are on a budget i think you might even take a 3060ti they cost ~300 euros and are really good. - Lastly, don't forget to take decent RAM, 8Go would be the minimum at the moment, prefere 16Go or even 32Go. If you could take DDR5 it would be even faster. Be careful that RAM caracteristics need to be compatible with your CPU (AMD or intel) and the more higher the frequency, the better. So it is, hope it's not too late, if you have questions feel free to ask. :)

the order 66 thing seems to me like an absurdly broken mechanic. I hope this gets fixed. The speedrun is impressive af but the allied peace conference shows how badly this game still works
For those curious, Trotsky's ideology was basically doing marxist leninism different from Stalin at all cost. His way of doing socialism is pretty impractical tho compared, despite all of Stalins flaws.
I haven't tried, but it should be possible since you can get additional bonuses and use the continuous focus to keep resistance low while slowly reaching 100% saturation in garrison equipment.
Once you control the whole world? 100 percent. Remember that you have annexed every country in the world without doing much (if any) fighting with them, which gives you a sizeable equipment stockpile and because you're the Soviet union you have more than enough manpower, especially considering the prince of terror's noncore manpower.

a way this could be quicker (completely reliant on RNG) is by not choosing a base at all this will put your starting point at a random state, so if you get lucky you could get near moscow and finish stalin very quickly
I've never done a world conquest in 700 hours, I don't like playing vanilla hoi since I only have resistance dlc and the mods are just so much better. The most that I did was building a railway from Gibraltar to Singapore. I respect speedrunners, it shows unusual ways of gaming and I love grinding for perfection, I speedran hollow knight in less than 3 hours without deaths and I used to grind mirror's edge but the game crashed too much so I dropped it. You are the man 👍
an idea to ease the PP burden. Agency -> 2 agents -> infiltrate civilian government, which can give +25 PP Higher chance with infiltrator or seducer trait on the spy
The italian civil war happens when the Italian Balance of Power shifts far enough in favour of the Grand Council of fascism. Among other things, losing states shifts the BoP in that direction, and losing core states even more so. That's why capturing scattered victory points, but not 50% of the ones in a state, doesn't fire the civil war as quickly.

you can beat hoi4 in under 10 seconds by opening up console immediately and running the command "annex all". this causes you to be the only nation on the planet.
@m3an : i watch your video 10 month too late but i noticed your question at 8:21, and didn't see anyone answer it so here is my (humble) answer :
For HOI4 performances you have 4 things to consider :
- For starting performance (& save loading) -> high storage bandwith allow game files to be loaded in RAM quicker, improving the time it take to launch the game or to load a saved game. usually prefer NVME storage type with high bandwith (~ 7000 Mo/s for the fastest customer grade NVME). Be careful that your motherboard need a specific port to take NVME.
I have a Samsung 980, my game launch in a few seconds.
- For in game performance (ie not slowing at a ridicule speed around 1945) -> CPU is the key here, the trouble didn't came from graphics but rather from heavy CPU load due to the game calculating air and sea dominance/battle around the world + thousands of troups everywhere + heavy indsutrial production/build in each country. That's why some performance improving mod disable minor country in south and central america.
I have an AMD 5950x, i initialy buy it for virtualisation tasks but it perform very well with HOI4. All cores are used and i can have a playble game in 1968 with Allies, Axis and china pumping troups and planes (~150 milions death, i watch them destroy each other, sending volunteer to the loosing side only for science)
- For graphic performance : obviously it's the GPU part, but HOI4 didn't need the last Nvidia flagship to perform well. I have an RTX 3070 and it's way overkill to run the game. If you are on a budget i think you might even take a 3060ti they cost ~300 euros and are really good.
- Lastly, don't forget to take decent RAM, 8Go would be the minimum at the moment, prefere 16Go or even 32Go. If you could take DDR5 it would be even faster. Be careful that RAM caracteristics need to be compatible with your CPU (AMD or intel) and the more higher the frequency, the better.

Is it even possible to hold on to the entirety of the world with the resistance mechanics in 1937? Great video btw
I haven't tried, but it should be possible since you can get additional bonuses and use the continuous focus to keep resistance low while slowly reaching 100% saturation in garrison equipment.
Once you control the whole world? 100 percent. Remember that you have annexed every country in the world without doing much (if any) fighting with them, which gives you a sizeable equipment stockpile and because you're the Soviet union you have more than enough manpower, especially considering the prince of terror's noncore manpower.

You're the soviet union and you got all the guns stockpiles in the world. You can definitely hold the resistance.

a way this could be quicker (completely reliant on RNG) is by not choosing a base at all this will put your starting point at a random state, so if you get lucky you could get near moscow and finish stalin very quickly

I've never done a world conquest in 700 hours, I don't like playing vanilla hoi since I only have resistance dlc and the mods are just so much better. The most that I did was building a railway from Gibraltar to Singapore. I respect speedrunners, it shows unusual ways of gaming and I love grinding for perfection, I speedran hollow knight in less than 3 hours without deaths and I used to grind mirror's edge but the game crashed too much so I dropped it. You are the man 👍

Agency -> 2 agents -> infiltrate civilian government, which can give +25 PP Higher chance with infiltrator or seducer trait on the spy
The italian civil war happens when the Italian Balance of Power shifts far enough in favour of the Grand Council of fascism. Among other things, losing states shifts the BoP in that direction, and losing core states even more so. That's why capturing scattered victory points, but not 50% of the ones in a state, doesn't fire the civil war as quickly.
