I lost it at ''I am questioning all of my life choices right now'' and ''I don't know what is going on here'' HAHAHA. in seriousness, I love hearing peoples train of thought during the filming of a youtube video, defs wanna see more of these casual videos or in the shop vlogs. love it cole :)
See that’s the thing, I have no idea. I don’t think anything similar has really come across in the fan community as that old meme has. But I really appreciate the more causal style of the video
Now this is genuine art right here, loved how you went really in-depth with this. And just the irony of you questioning everything throughout the video makes it even better haha.
i watch these videos along side my son who is obsessed with ceiling fans. out of all the ceiling fan video creators, i love your tone of voice so much, the little wise cracks in this video brought me joy. happy new year.
Oh shoot! Glow sticks on the blades, that's another viral ceiling fan thing. But that's not much of a video. I should've led off with that and followed up with this. 🧐😒😭
So THAT'S how it can be done! Can the next one be BOTH the blades and the light kit spinning, but in opposite direction? Just make sure downrod-to-motor coupler is loose from the motor shaft, and run the fan on high updraft, and if the motor falls down, the motor housing would catch it from going all the way to the ground.
I have a Hunter Low Profile V that I believe had the switch housing spin like this. It was installed at my local train station, and when someone failed twice to fix it, the motor ended up sitting on the housing, and they did apparently try to turn it on and they said "it wanted to spin" but it was stuck. Wires in the switch housing look kinda messed up, and bottom of the motor have circular scratch on it including all four screws on it, but the fan works perfectly.
At 13:27 - 13:32 (where you slowed down a part of a video clip), that's pretty similar to what I've been obsessed of doing to upload on my channel these days (where I slow down any parts of a any video I upload on there), lol.
Great job! Believe it or not, if you scroll through the comments of the original video by newest first, it appears that I made the very first comment on the original video! LOL
I also never thought of asking you this before, but do you ever plan to get a haircut anytime in general future? My mom and I noticed that your hair is getting a little bit long, it's even almost starting to cover your eye brows too (lol).
I don't have an over-the-top personality, and I can't put on a fake one, so I do find it hard to inject personality into my videos which tend to lean more polished and professional. My vlogs admittedly aren't personality-based either. This was fun to just do something different and fully stupid, it was easier to let loose both for myself and with the editing.
the face 😂 0:14
I think this falls under the "anything is a smoke machine if you operate it wrong enough" category.
goddammit tommy
Yea totally lol.

THIS is the kind of content I want to see more. I hope this isn’t just a one time thing!!!
Only premium content. 👌 IDK, what bad business do you guys want to get into next? 😂

I like the fan but why is the fan blades not moving?
@@apfanco lol next itl be those pointless stpupid videos of fans falling

This is some top notch MythBusters content right here! I’ve seen the original video way too many times lol. This video deserves to go on #1 trending 👏
Send this to Hunter. They need to make this a thing.

Introducing the Hunter Switch Ceiling fan, where the switch housing moves!
Order one today!
I laughed so hard at this... XD
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
cole is really embracing his inner michael reeves with both the stupidity and comedy of this project, as well as the editing and lofi music
This isn’t the type of video in the fan community that you’d see everyday
These days we're not experiencing "everyday" as usual!
@@vfandm Hahaha! Now you just gotta make the blades glow on a fan.
Oh shoot! Glow sticks on the blades, that's another viral ceiling fan thing. But that's not much of a video. I should've led off with that and followed up with this. 🧐😒😭
@@vfandm It would've been hilarious if you took the Design House Neon if you still have it and put glow sticks on the blades!
I seen the video before I even made a TH-cam account.
Oh boy, this gives me so many laughs when I ever see this.
Been watching you for years now. Didn't expect this kind of humorous video. Hopefully this isn't a one time thing. Got a lot of giggles out of it 😁😅
So THAT'S how it can be done! Can the next one be BOTH the blades and the light kit spinning, but in opposite direction? Just make sure downrod-to-motor coupler is loose from the motor shaft, and run the fan on high updraft, and if the motor falls down, the motor housing would catch it from going all the way to the ground.
That's a great idea. I had tunnel vision on this one trying to get to the original, there were opportunities missed.
The Westminster is from the 25th of 2007 I see. That’s a childhood fan of mine
Oohhh you sassy! ”what is that? *turns to the camera* An Augusta 5minute fan?” 😂
Next up on vintage fans and more, we see cole recreating various videos of people jumping into ceiling fans 😂
Oh no. That is the natural progression here, isn't it? Does anybody have a mini-trampoline I can borrow? 😅
@@vfandm yep, I got one
The first time I ever heard the f word was when I was 8 and watched that video where Steve O jumps into the ceiling fan.
@@vfandm Gotta pull a pro gamer move and jump into a casablanca.
I was today years old when I learned there was a ceiling fan community.
my son is 11, high functioning autistic and ceiling fans are one of his special interests … and yes. there is a community ❤️
If you ever do this again make sure make sure you put color bulbs in in the fan

Cole...... you can smile??????
Great video! What would’ve been a cool touch would’ve been putting a different colored bulb in each socket.

We all need laughter during this time. Great video.
Dude! This is the funniest ceiling fan video ever! 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂
"I'm questioning all of my life choices right now!", haha! xD
What a pretty ironic and entertaining video to watch right here to see the light-kit spinning, lol. 😅😂
I just realized that we now have to figure out the other one where the fan and light are both spinning
Life is at it’s peak and this video proves it. 👏🏻
😂😂😂💯
3:27 that’s right kids, don’t do this at home, do it at your friends house!
Don’t
I like the Hunter Westminster because it’s an ornate fan and ornate is my favorite ceiling fan style of all time. But I won’t try this at home.
I think I've been watching this whole video around like almost 5 times, lol. Possibly because of the thumbnail (lol).
You know me, I would've let it go til it popped 😂 I have a video of a 200hp motor in a hung start condition for four minutes for crying out loud 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 You really did put on a light show, huh?👍🏾
Golly, I can't stop watching this video, lol. xD
I have so many things to do today and instead I'm watching this.

thank you so much for this
😘😄
this is the kind of shit I would do with an engineering degree
Try use different colors of light bulbs and see what happens!
*meanwhile day 24 of quarantine*
(Facepalms)
Thank you I've wondered this for years
Where is this fan now? What did you do with it?
Parted out and gone.
This gives me flashbacks 🥴
What ceiling fan is that that u used
Hunter Westminster
Childhood is calling!
Your videos are awesome I enjoy watching it
The fan in the original video was a Hunter Augusta (first generation).
How is that possible??!
I really love the devotion some people have to extremely niche things
Definitely an interesting experiment and worth trying!
LOL, Spinning Light Kit
I showed this to my mom, and she and I both laughed, lol.
PARTY GLOBE LIGHT CEILING FAN
Mm yeah, that'd be one of the coolest looking things to see, lol.
Yayyyyyy (thinks about the fan itself) *becomes sad*
WHAT THE FAN IS THAT?!!!
Oh my! I remember this!
What will happen when we try that at home?
The same thing. So don't bother, it's a waste of a fan.
Oh ok
Cole, you utter fucking madman.
This is ART.
#justquarantinethings
😆🤠
Thats crazy
new idea i'll put an american dj helicoper party light as my light kit thx
Very cool
funny
Next time tie a potato to the light shades
a potato flew around my fan room
Interesting. Thank you
at one point of time i thought u were emotionless😭sorry
