It's good to see Chacha! I hope his health is continuing to improve as the world needs his wisdom! Please tell him "hi" from Kim in Oregon, US and that he is in my thoughts.
Thank you Kim! I'll definitely pass your comment to him the next time we meet. I hope it'll be soon. Thank you for tuning in, hope you are doing good 🙂
Woohoo! I love Screamin' Jay! My fav song of his is Little Demon. I think he's the first to establish the "Psychobilly" genre of mixing 1950s style American Rockabilly with horror/humorous themes. Big influence on bands like The Misfits, The Cramps, Demented Are Go, Nekromantix, etc. Cool genre that was sort of popular counterculture from 1980s-early 2010s
So glad indeed to see Chacha again. He's very loved and respected. Also glad to see everyone else! Trybals' insights about music are always interesting. Best wishes to all of you!
Great video as always, I’ve been a big fan of the channel for a while now and it’s great to see Chacha again I hope him being in the video is a sign of his health improving, I wish him and everyone in the video (and those behind the scenes) good health and fortune. Much love and support from the UK🇬🇧
One of my all time favourite songs! I am really looking forward to seeing how everyone is going to react. Thank you for the hard work and efforts to bring us all these videos dude. I have been subscribed to the channel for quite a while now and it's fantastic to see how far you have come with everything, seriously everything looks and sounds so professional now! I wish you, and everyone who features in the videos absolutely nothing but success and happiness in life and you have my deepest gratitude. All the best!
@@TRYBALS You are more than welcome, I meant every word of what I said, and what's more I don't think they really do justice to reflect the effort and passion you have poured into the channel and I am very, very happy to see that your subscriber count now reflects those things. Here's to more growth and more of the wonderful mixture of open minded curiosity coupled with the collective wisdom of your guests.
Thank you, I know you really meant what you wrote in your comment. And I'm more grateful for people like you who could see what goes into making these videos than those numbers (Subs). I'm thinking of real people than numbers now, I thought about numbers at a point but not anymore. People like you matter to me now :-)
@@TRYBALSSir, I hope you and everyone involved with this channel know how thankful we are to have found you. All of you have entered our hearts and minds as old friends. I first heard screamin jay Hawkins’ “Frenzy” in an episode of the x files when I was a kid. Fun! That episode had circus freaks which would be interesting for the trybals to see!
Omg I learned something today 😱😃 THANK YOU for the amazing job you do with these videos!! I did not know Screaming Jay. Plus it is a real pleasure to see you all guys 💘 You all look like the sweetest people in the world 🙏🏻
The Mashallah to the 75 kids has me in tears 😭❤🤣 ohhh Abdul I don't know if you would regard it as such a blessing but I love the difference in perspective
I don’t think they could react well to screaming Jay. Our music culture must seem really weird to them…it’s weird to me and I’m American! Good to see Chacha feeling well!
Speaking of magic... I wonder if you're familiar with Penn and Teller? I always loved their performances where they would show how magic tricks were done.
These people are better analysts than western one's. Especially the one in green robes knows what he's talking about. Westernised people may laugh at Screamin Jay but these people take his power seriously..
I've never really liked this song and never understood why other people are so fascinated with it. It was interesting to see that their reactions were also mixed. I really like the new guy. He gives me a very positive vibe and has a lovely smile. Cheers to you all!
@@mayden776 You can though, just do a cookie monster impression and then sing the tune. It's like Louis Armstrong, I can sound just like him, these guys somehow just turned a weird sound everyone can make into their gimmick and everyone thinks their super talented for it, it's kind of funny to me. Think of it like a Donald Duck impression, anybody can do it once they figure out how, or whistling.

Screamin Jay Hawkins is a forgotten icon, honestly. His music was incredible and most people don’t know who he is. Sadly.
Thank you so much for letting us see Chacha! May he be blessed every day on this earth and forever. Thank you again! ❤

"Oh my... was he a machine or something?" 🤣 Cultural similarities, I know so many people around me who would put it the same way.

Great choice for a reaction! Screaming Jay Hawkins was one of a kind!
Bryan Ferry also recorded a cover of this, but he bewitched with his silky voice alone.
THank you.

Enjoyed this reaction and nice to see Chacha. Have you seen Chinchilla's version of this from the voice?
Not yet!

...I'm a little interested in their response to Thriller, now.
' Ol' Man River ' by Jay might be a good comparison, a more traditional song.
Wow, I'll need to check that out myself too.
@@TRYBALS It was on a TV show, too.
Keep up the good work!
Would love to see them react to James Brown - "This is a Man's World"

Could you react to Dies Irae (verdi) please 🙏
I feel like anyone could "sing" like that. Lol.

@@Pax_Mayn3 I can't scream and hold a note like this guy
@@mayden776 People who are startled do it without even thinking or trying. Everyone can scream, he's not singing, he's just screaming.
Hawkins was stone drunk laying on the floor in the recording
