I have to say this I’ve been reading the footballer physique program and it has been working wonders. I did combines in LA a couple weeks ago and they said i improved from the last time they saw me. Though i was close, i didnt get a trial by a club. But they have told me i’ve gotten much better especially in my fitness. It’s a slow process, but im training every day or every other day and doing everything this program has told me so far.

One thing I really liked about his videos is that he is being honest he goes out for the gym and then he tells the gym is closed and now he has to compromise I mean this is reality and he could have cut that part and say that ok guys I'm doing some bodyweight workout at home but he showed us appreciate his honesty

Matt just a quick thing. My coach has us do a lot of squats and squat jumps and he always has us try to point our toes towards the sky. I noticed when you were doing your squat jumps you didn’t do that. You don’t have to do it that way but I just thought I would give you my two sense. Thanks

when you do lunges try make sure your front knee stays over your toes and don't let it go forward. instead focus on just dropping the back knee straight down. it will help make sure you don't put stress on your knees.
I only play soccer in a recreational setting since graduating high school, however I watch your videos for two reasons. One being I still do play on a team for soccer and your videos help me improve. And two, you have inspired me to really push my limits in all aspects of life and to be more organized and to really push to achieve my goals. You are a true inspiration

As a layman. I think u should practice more based on your position. U are full back so u need a lot of defence... tackles, sliding, heading instead of dribiling etc

Hey Matt I noticing on the shuttle run when you do a turn you take extra touches whether its with the outside or inside of the foot. I have always been taught to take strong touch to get the ball out of your feet when do that type of turn. just trying to help.

Hey Matt do you think it's safe for me to keep on playing since I am currently suffering from a knee injury which is pretty bad around my acl area but its hard for me to take care of it since I do cross country in the morning and soccer later in the day which really gets my injury to hurt quit a bit. I had this injury for a couple of years but dont know what to do since I can't stop doing sports but at the same time I risk my knee everyday.
Can I use scrimit even though I don’t have a personal trainer or coach I’m 17 about to enter college this fall and am going to try and walk on but I don’t know many workouts to do for myself at the gym or on the pitch

I agree that you’re bad reps shouldn’t count but you should never stop and start over because you can’t do that in a game! So finish the rep but don’t count it if it’s not good
