Sometimes there's absolutely zero genetic relation between them, and they're both of sexual age, and the wife is often old and way past her sexual visual prime, . Weird, but it happens especially among the lower class white population

So… Miranda claimed that she was abused by the stepfather when she was a child. And yet her child from a previous relationship was living with her mother and stepfather. I think Sean was fortunate to be able to get away from Miranda and get custody of his daughter. Either way, she’s a liar and not a good mother (Yes. I said it).
Her stepfather had been ab*sing her since she was a child and/or at the very least grooming and exploiting her since she was 19. She went on to become a s*x worker which is a very common trauma response. Yes, technically speaking if she wanted to accept payment from her stepfather specifically in exchange for that kind of favours she was legally allowed, but the question of free will and definitions of danger are extremely dubious in this case imo. I don't know if the killing itself was simply out of jealousy - I don't think it could ever be "just" that, considering the step family relationship - but either way this is a very tragic story in which there's no way the victim wasn't the author of the situation to some capacity.
Yeah this is how I feel tho I don’t think she’s some saint I can see how being abused as a child can damage someone and send them on this path. It’s sad there were other children brought into this world that could have just repeated the cycle.

This older guy shouldn't have been going anywhere near Miranda, his step daughter. Sick. What kind of household did she grow up in? Sounds like she wasn't raised up, she was dragged up and damaged. I am glad Shaun has been able to make a good life for himself after all that.
It definitely makes me believe that the accusations of sexual abuse she made against him when she was 12/13 were true. He didn't suddenly start being sexually interested in her when she was 19. I wonder what her mother says about all this? That family is messed up and it might actually be better that the daughter lives with her murderer father than with her mother and her family.
I would like to know why Miranda changed her story from "He was defending me" to "I did not need defending." Those two stories are exact opposites, so it seems weird that she claimed one, then the other.
It’s good he is not in jail and has custody of the child. If she admits to consensual sexual activity with her own step-father for money, she is an unfit parent, full stop.

6/29/24 Miranda, was Eager Beaver! She wanted that car & played Sean. Glad, he got custody of daughter and wasn’t sent to jail for her games. Was over loaded popping off 7-8 rounds. She primed him re:SA accusations, then dropped charges.
Maybe by the current 'law', he is guilty, but what Sean did was a moral act. His girlfriend was being raped by her abuser from almost a decade, Sean saw the sexual abuse happen before his eyes and he performed an act to subdue the perpetrator from continuing to perform rape upon his longterm victim. A good lawyer could've defended Sean, in my opinion; however I am just a layman. @@BrianOSheaPlus Of course, drugs & alcohol make volatile situations worse but the main issue with people shooting each other is lack of self control/emotions. Plenty of completely sober people killing others.
@@zenawarrior7442 I mentioned alcohol because it impairs judgement, and it was a factor in this case. It can turn even a responsible gun owner into a huge hazard, and there are basically no safeguards against it.
@@BrianOSheaPlus I know why you mentioned it. I didn't need to write everything in my comment. Even drunk people can have self control to not kill someone. Firearms make a bad decision instantaneous, irreversible, deadly. I've known thousands of people who drink & make zero bad choices. Guns turn bad people into monsters, good people can skirt the edge when emotionally distraught.
If I were in a relationship with a woman like Miranda, I would find it impossible to ever fully trust her. As far as Jimmy goes, the military has been handing out Honorable Discharges to problematic people for way too long.
oh, the drama ... so many wrong ways, i dunno which one to point out first, lol ... but too many people interfearing with the reltationship in the wrong ways, is always bad
In this instance I disagree with your final conclusion. Miranda had previously charged the victim with SA when she was a child. Even though these accusations were later dropped by her, I believe they were honest and that she later denied them because she was a fragile, abused child in a horrible home life and perhaps decided it in her best interest to withdraw her claims. Furthermore, we don't know what she told Shawn regarding abuses made at the hands of her stepfather. Just because a victim becomes an adult it doesn't negate the fact that they were victimized and could still be operating under the psychological impact of childhood SA. The fact she chose to become a sex worker is a common result of childhood SA. I think the charges were fair, he's guilty of manslaughter, not murder, not even in the 2nd degree. Still, excellent post. I live just a few miles from Maryville and was already aware of this case, though not privy to all the information you've provided and it gave me clearer insight into all the factors that played a role in this case.👍
The girl had been groomed for exploitation, which was clearly ongoing. Ignoring that and dismissing it as consensual, calling the stepfather a client, shows a lack of depth of analysis of the complex traumas at play. Your evaluations are often excellent; this one is a miss and could use another look that considers the impact of sexualisation and developmental traumas that result from a powerful person in a caretaker role objectifying and making sex and other things transactional. A toxic environment devoid of respect.
Sad. I agree with you- I think he thought he was in the right. I feel like there’s a lot of confusion due to the whole, “is she too drunk to consent?” thing. I’ve heard so many men say they are afraid to approach a woman cause they may be intoxicated and the guy may not be aware (the woman may have a high tolerance, or simply may handle themselves well). I can imagine in the same sense, a man would have the confusion of whether or not to protect a woman if they’re intoxicated, or to just let them be. In any sense, unless someone is being violently taken advantage of, it should never have escalated to what it did. If anything, he should have called the police, and maybe at the most kept him held down until the police got there. Her life wasn’t in danger, so the force was unnecessary. Personally, if a woman isn’t saying no verbally, screaming, stumbling, slurring her words, having trouble staying on their feet, and/or falling asleep standing…. she’s more than likely in control of her actions. If you feel like you need to help someone in this kind of situation and they’re not showing any of the above signs, ask them if they need anything or ask them to help you find a bathroom or something- if they need help from who they’re with, they will use that as an excuse to walk away with you. If they don’t, then they’re fine. (Of course- you gotta do that before the person starts the as**lt, but yeah.)

where is the girl's mother , who lives at that house, this whole time???
If Jimmy grabbed the gun, I could see an argument for self defense. Did the gun have Jimmy's fingerprints on it?
Two men fighting over a 304. Everybody drunk. Classy.
If I ever had to take this story and throw it in the trash, you better believe it'll go in the white recyclables
And HE got the kid when he got out.. let that sink in.
What’s a 304 ??
@@kinglouis6974 Type it into a classic old calculator and read it upside down.
@@kinglouis6974 if you typed on a calculator and looked at it upside down it spells "hoe"
there is an endless supply of content for this channel
Sounds like a Jerry Springer rerun.
I absolutely think this channel is hilarious, it's very amusing to me how he presents the stories. Even though they are disastrous it's somewhat comical
All those happy cacti! Not a single sad one!
What a messed up family
You said, "clothing challenged dancer" I see your humor is still subtle and also still on fleek😂👍
"On fleek". Compliment meaning perfectly groomed or well done!
"Fleek"
🙄🤦
I think 5 years is fair this was clearly a fubar scenario before he went taxi driver but that doesn't justify how far it went.
Men always claim they are looking for a low drama woman who wears minimal make-up but then we see this situation. 🤔
U don't need 2 overdo it.
Glamorous w/o the stenches ok?
Every man claims that?
One situation in millions. You don't have good pattern recognition.
@@deanpd3402 she's being hyperbolic.
I thought that. Men create drama for themselves
"Clothing-challenged dancer, making adults-only videos!"
Everyone in Tennessee is armed. Im sure Jimmy was too.
Love from Oklahoma!!!
Dear Dr G, the cquip about Miranda wiil done great annalysis.
Messy people living messy lives.
fantastic annalysis
I agree with Jimmy behaved in a repulsive manner.
Gents, it's not worth your sanity, money, or your life. Stay away from the modern stragg.
Every single fact about this story/relationships is f'ed up. Leaves me wondering what is wrong with all of these people.
A “clothing challenged dancer” 😂
dr grande can you please analyze the case of Wade Wilson
"clothing challenged"😂
Jealousy? He knowingly was with a sex worker. Did he think she wasn't having sex with other people? That's her vile job.
Yet another case of tempers with firearms having a tragic result. Excellent points again, agree at least he can't have a gun again. Thanks Dr G😊💙💙
Don't forget with alcohol too. A bad combination overall.
@@zenawarrior7442Wow! You know people who never make bad decisions?
What kind of Mother did Miranda have?
If I were in a relationship with a woman like Miranda, I would find it impossible to ever fully trust her. As far as Jimmy goes, the military has been handing out Honorable Discharges to problematic people for way too long.
It is because of her involvement in the adult industry?
Dr. Grande, could you please analyze the case of Bossman Jack?
Day 120 of asking 😮💨😮💨😮💨
Congratulations on four months of asking. Many happy returns!
@@purrple.shadows you know it’s a tough job, but someone’s gotta do it!
So logical - great break down Dr.
I'm disappointed in TN's legal system on this one
2nd degree murder at least. What the hell was wrong with those jurors?
Nevertheless, I feel no pity for the weirdo step father.
That’s why the jokes get funnier.
oh, the drama ... so many wrong ways, i dunno which one to point out first, lol ... but too many people interfearing with the reltationship in the wrong ways, is always bad
You mean it's illegal for Sean to possess a firearm. He'll have no problem getting one.
You are correct. Becoming a prostitute is a strong indication of child abuse.
Great analysis.another nightmare scenario
Did this happen in Florida?
Dude got away with murder…but the dude he killed was worst than him…so is the daughter
The Doc's dry humor is the best😅
How does she know it's his kid?
How did this fool get an Honorable Discharge? He should have gotten a Medical Discharge or a General Discharge.
24 years old, 25 years old, 44 years old lol. Odd mixture, eh bud?
