Erin finally gets her wish as we watch David Carradine's The Warrior and the Sorceress, AKA Quandribewb. This gem of a movie has the main character running around topless for the entire runtime. It's truly a brilliant film.

3:33 the level of cruelty, to deny them water for their wet t shirt contests. Truly evil.
Good point.
Points. @@JasonBrant
It is somehow very reassuring to discover that they had wet t-shirt contests back in long-ago lost prehistoric fantasy periods that never existed. Just goes to show, we truly are all the same.
David Carradine is such a compelling actor, I hang on every word
Too soon
@@samholdsworth420that's what he choked out🤣🤣🤣🤣
🤣
This is not my bag
Oh man, the amount of jokes regarding Carradine's exercise becomes really a pain in the neck...
I love when you guys watch a Carradine movie, it always keeps me hanging. Almost like I'm on a tight rope, it leaves me short of breath at times.
🤣
Wait until it gets to the climax!!!!!
The man's a walking hung tripod.
"Has David Carradine ever let us down?"
Should have let himself down
Sometimes I laugh so hard during a So-Bad-Its-Good David Carradine film that I have trouble breathing.
Fortunately for you that there is a practically inexhaustible supply of bad Carradine movies. Say what you want about the man, he certainly was prolific
You and/or your loved ones may be entitled to compensation. Thousands of people die of laughter watching sbig a everyday!
🤣
As did Carradine.
I have to choke back tears of laughter when I watch his movies.
The cover illustration depicting Carradine with a comically elongated neck never fails to amuse me for some reason.
😆😆😆😆😂😂😂😂
OK, that's it. The amount of disrespect is intolerable.
I can't hang out with you guys anymore.
He looks “Fabulous!” 💕🎉🌈🕺🏼
Holy shit🤣🤣
That's a Boris Vallejo cover, I love his cheesy art style so much! The piece he made for National Lampoon's Vacation is one of my favourite cover illustrations of all time.
Red Dead Aclips SBIG Fun Facts:
David Carradine is actually a fairly accomplished musician. He was a singer, a piano player, could play guitar and the flute.
Despite some people's beliefs, Carradine was a real practioner of Martial Arts. He studied Kung Fu, Tai Chi and qigong (whatever the F that is) and he had a black belt in Shotokan Karate.
The Director, John C. Broderick, also produced a SBIG favorite, Showdown in Little Tokyo, the movie where Brandon Lee complimented Dolph for having a giant wang. Brandon Lee co-starred as Carradines lost son in the Kung Fu: The Movie. He was appropriately named Chung Wang. Small world, giant Dolph Wang.
Ahh, very nice. Didn't know that about Broderick.
This is like Conan The Barbarian crossed with Yojimbo, but way way worse.
It was great seeing you react to this movie, especially after how much pain you were in from Battlefield Earth.
Edit: An additional and maybe fun fact, but the Richard Norton lookalike is Anthony De Longis who is actually an accomplished swordsman, stuntman and fight choreographer.
You may have seen him as the European fencer who fights Jet Li in the opening of Fearless.
They ought to have titled it A Fistful of BEWBZ!
Well, I would have done.
We really needed this after Battlefield Earth.
I remember seeing that box cover in the video store years ago as a kid. I assumed the quadraboobs were a printing error until I finally saw it as an adult.
The movie itself is a straight up sword & sorcery riff on Yojimbo/A Fistful of Dollars. Though that can get lost under all the boobs.
There's a story?
@@JasonBrant Yes, of a sort! It really is a bizarre remake of Yojimbo/A Fist Full of Dollars though.
Yojimbewb
Seeing you guys review a David Carradine movie always gets me choked up. I can't stay in the closet about this anymore: I'd love to hang with David Carradine, and I don't care who knows!
What a twist.
I don't know, man... seems like that could really put a stranglehold on your social life, tying yourself to a guy with that reputation. You'd really put your neck on the line like that?
@@jackflash8218 I'm willing to tighten my belt and really swing for it.
You guys are brutal🤣
@@JasonBrant Simple pleasures, man... simple pleasures. 😁😆
I'm shocked he didn't choke on his lines while handling his sword.
You guys are brutal🤣
Wow. My hat is off to you sir! Awesome.
He really must have needed the $500.00 for 'sterling's in this flik.
“It’s been a while since we hanged out with David Carradine”…….subtle. Plus, you had me at 4 bewbed…
I'm surprised that being surrounded by multiple scantily-clad women with their bangers out wasn't what took Carradine's breath away..
My dad was a huge sword and sorcery fan so I saw most of these in the theater. It's funny how we didn't really notice how terrible the choreography was.
You saw this in the theater? Nice!
This had a theatrical run? Wow. The '80s really were a different time.
@@JasonBranthope you and the crew are doing well, what was your first movie that you remember going to a theater and seeing? Mine was Christine
I remember this as a teenager. Ahh a film that can stand more than one viewing. :D The swords made from aluminium, the plot stolen from better movies. Some of the acting is terrible but some is surprisingly good all things considered.
Definitely worthy of repeat viewings.
The swords are aluminum, the acting is wooden?
Oh! He's rubbin' Lola, under his shirt?! 😂
🤣
It's so cute Brian thinks Corman actually made any sets or props for this movie and didn't just reuse stuff he had sitting around from six other unrelated films.
The premise is literally the plotline to "A Fistful of Dollars" ...
2 warring gangs with the hero playing them off each other for profit, then getting caught.
See also "Last Man Standing"
Or the Japanese original "Yojimbo"
So this is pretty much a fantasy version of Yojimbo. Two factions fighting for control a town, when a stranger enters to take advantage.
Yojimbo!! LOVE that movie! MIFUNE!!!
To my shame, I haven't seen that.
Yojimbo was also the inspiration for A Fistful of Dollars. Which was the inspiration for Marty to wear the piece of iron under his poncho in Back to the Future 2.
This is the umpteenth movie version of Dashiell Hammett's Red Harvest: Yojimbo, Fistful of Dollars, Last Man Standing, The Warrior and the Sorceress...heck, even Rutger Hauer did a version with androids called Omega Doom.
Maria Socas, the leading actress, for real spends more time in this film topless than most x-rated actresses do in the average porn film. Socas appears throughout the entire film and I don't believe there is a single scene in which she wears anything that covers her breasts aside from maybe a few seconds where she wears a cloak. And even in that instance it is pretty quickly revealed that she has nothing on underneath the cloak.
This is truly dedication to the art)
@@riverwhite1991 Indeed, she puts other actresses to shame.
The only other one would be Lana Clarkson in Deathstalker. A g-string and a cloak is her costume.
Her 'outfits' in this are genuinely insane.
My older brother and I saw this at the theater -- haven't seen it since. It was a blast revisiting this one with the SBIG crew!
I bet this was quite an experience in the theater.
@@JasonBrantHe and I saw lots of these 80s-era gems at the theater. 'The Sword and The Sorcerer' is another one. It's already in the SBIG library, so when you want (yet another) 'Conan' wannabe -- you're set.
18:50 I like the makeup on these guys. It's either whatever was left over from Hell Comes to Frogtown, or the rejected costumes/makeup people for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie.
haha
21:36 I realized here that he is fighting Anthony De Longis. Anthony is a choreographer, stuntman, character actor and voice actor. He was the swordsman Blade in the "Masters of the Universe" live action movie (he was also the stunt double for Skeletor, doing all the fighting at the end), was one of the villains in "Roadhouse," trained Michelle Pfeiffer how to use a whip for "Batman Returns," and re-trained Harrison Ford in using a whip for "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull." He's been in a ton of shows and movies and is fun to spot.
To date, this is her most coherent judgement ever.
Spoilers!
haha
I think that's the same costume Carradine wore in 'Wizards of the lost kingdom II' 😂
That's a real movie?
The dark one!
Yeup, and the well is also the same well he liberates from some enemy soldiers in Wizards.
Ok, so I’m not going crazy. I knew that well scene looked freakishly familiar.
After a really shit day, I really needed this laugh. Always love the commentary and wheezes from you guys 😄
Thanks!
My favorite part of this movie was that parts of it were re-used for "Wizards of the Lost Kingdom 2," a kids' comedy movie. Seriously, not only do WotLK2 re-use some footage (the villagers rushing to the well) but they re-use the costumes and characters. In the kids flick, David Carradine still plays "The Dark One" while wearing that same ridiculous costume. It's kind of amazing, really....
God bless David Carradine. 🫡🇺🇲
He's hanging around in heaven, as we speak.
My dad was such a fan of the show “Kung Fu” and we both loved Kill Bill and Lone Wolf McQuaid… David was a badass in those 💯 But it wasn’t till I got older that I learned how many horrific movies David made and was in, and how insane he was 😂
Ladies and gentlemen of sophistication, we have assembled once again to be entertained on a Thursday afternoon.
1156am in Alaska, time of posting.
My favorite part of these reactions is erin loosing her mind,
giggling like the joker!
👍🤗🤣
Do you guys do like an annual recap of how many movies you've done and the scores for each? That would be a fun holiday extra. Thanks for consistent hilarity, guys.
We don't, but that's a fun idea.
That was awesome! Jason is the master of holding in a spit-take. I wonder what movie is going to be the tipping point.
Been close a few times, but I'm holding strong.
The "rubbing Lola" comment broke Erin! 😂
I like how Brian celebrates @13:13....he had Eagle eyes.
1:23 "Man walks with an air of confidence rarely seen in this day and age"! 😂
Way more of Carradine than I was prepared to see. Honestly, it choked me up a bit. Also, if you have questions about diabetes, I hear Rich Evans is an authority on the subject, lol.
My favorite part about watching these videos is when Erin gets broken and cannot stop laughing . Da. Best.
21:55 love the bloody swords, the fact that they're bloody, I mean, I love movies that drip blood from bladed weapons!
It's a nice touch.
You guys have to do "Mean Guns" (1997) starring Ice-T and Christopher Lambert. With that cast, you know it's gonna be good.
And random vampires that are never explained!
As a fellow Pennsylvanian I appreciate the gob joke… I knew exactly what you meant. Well done Jason!
Also every bit of this music was previously used in Battle Beyond The Stars, just like most Corman productions. you'll hear the exact same tunes in almost every Corman film.
Jason was wrong for that rubbing Lola under the shirt line, but it was accurate 🤣
There is just something about your videos that my father and I have been digging for the past week or so. It’s like what many people say, like watching a movie with a group of friends. Especially Erin, she is just such a great commentator and has a heart of gold as show when watching the 3 foot secret agent climb up the ladder and she says, “aww 😔” I hope I can send some brew in the future.
I was breathlessly waiting for this!
So its basically fantasy yojimbo/fistful of dollars/red harvest with lots of T&A...that actually sound amazing
14:59 I went to an NBA playoff game, and saw Damian Lillard end the series against the Rockets with a game winning shot, and it felt just like this.
I just watched this last week... this is fresh in my mind. Love that you are doing this 😂
Good timing.
Good timing.
Damn Jason came in hot right off the bat with the David carradine jokes 🤣
Poor Movie Dave fell victim to the stab to the descending aorta. We should have been prepared for this ending.
Guys I seem to remember an interview where David Carradine said his movies were very successful and always made money…
The interviewer wasn’t impressed and DC said.. we make them for less than the catering budget in big movies .
Googled the 4 bewby clip. Not let down. Thank's Mr Brant & Co
I remember liking this as a kid, we'll see how this goes. Gonna be awesome.
I bet you loved this as a kid 🤣

“Sleeveless Tunics and Shit” could have been the tagline

Me and my better half are really enjoying your videos..... have to mention big shout out to dave. That dudes presents on camera is an instant smile. We had this crazy idea of making a video of us watching you guys and reacting to your reactions haha. Mad I know. Might try it some time haha 😅
Let me know if you try it!
Much of the musical score was written by (future Oscar winning composer) James Horner for the Roger Corman-produced Battle Beyond the Stars (1980). Corman reused the music (combined with bits and pieces of other scores) in about 50 other films, including this one. If you binge a bunch of Corman's 80s movies, the constant reuse starts to get REALLY obvious (and funny).
Aah I’ve been hankering for someone react to some classic eighties sword and sorcery movies. Keep it up 👍
Thank you for all the fantastic content. These videos are amazing.
Thanks so much!
Erin was a little too joyful as she yelled for the naked lady to run from the wang monster.
🤣
David Carradine plays a character in Wizards of the Lost Kingdom II called 'The Dark One', that basically is his character from this movie. I had to look up if this was a part of the series (it's not!).
Oh that is straight up the well and some of the shots from wizards of the lost kingdom. The outfit changes slightly so you can barely tell but that was reused b roll one way or another.
The storyline is from one of Eastwoods spaghetti westerns. He goes into a town and starts playing both sides and gets caught and beat the hell up.
Yeah, it's called Kurosawa's Yojimbo...
6:26 ... The hell was that noise, Erin? Thank you for the entertainment. 🤣😍
The milk’s gone bad, Charlie Murphy!
Dude, the quips on Dave, me and the wife were frikin' dying XD !! Definitely SBIG !!
I'm not sure l have ever seen Dave's O face more times in a video, even when he's there. I'll give it the stamp just for that.
He and A-Ron were practically in the episode.
@JasonBrant haha yeah, l also noticed A-Ron's WTF face.
@JasonBrant careful, you could be obligated to pay them now!
Its incredible to see how long you've been doing this together !
In so bad is good till dath makes you apart !

I think we all know what must happen here. Dave must arrive _like that_ dressed as seafood Seagal wearing the Breenssiah medal jacket.
I'm guessing your upload came out while I was at work, because I didn't see it... not cool guys, wait until I'm off of work!
Absolutely loved this film. Used to live in the Quad cities over near the Iowa-Illinois border. When my friend came over we decided to watch this. To this day we still talk about seeing Quad-Titties in the Quad cities. Straight up Fistfull of Dollars knock-off, but man is it fun!
Wow, the qudrabewbs lady gives the triple bewb lady from Total Recall give a run for her money. Or is it the other way around 😂
Ive just found this channel and I love it, binging all your SBIG videos just now. Just wondering, have you ever covered cult classics Hawk the Slayer or Zardoz?
When they talked about a SBIG society after an apocalypse I had this image of people watching The Sound of Music in a rock pit in Kevin Costner's The Postman. Hundreds of SBIG fans in an abandoned rock pit watching bad movies.
I remember this movie cover as a staple in all the VHS rental stores in the 80's!
Lol, couldn't even go three seconds into the video before making a joke related to Carradine's 'unfortunate' passing. xD Also I would have liked to have been a fly on the wall when they were writing/conceptualising this...
"We needs boobs in this."
"You know what's better than two boobs on a woman?"
"What?"
"Four boobs on a woman."
"You goddamn genius."
It probably went something like this:
"What do teenage boys want to see?"
"Boobs, women, swords, martial arts, heroes, special effects"
Hold my white Zinfandel and cocaine...
The good old Quadraboob
You know that was the primary reason for adolescent boys renting this from the video store
Can't beat it.
@@JasonBrant I'm willing to bet they absolutely did beat it...
You guys are great! Watching your channel always cracks me up. You should definitely watch Manos the Hands of Fate! 10/10 gold 👌🏻
Everytime y'all do a David Carradine movie , the song Stranglehold comes to mind .... I wonder why ?🤔
I'll have to get a copy of this to add this to my collection of "Yojimbo" movies....
Great episode, you looked you had a lot of fun with this one.
We did.
I love your "Huuuuuurrrrr" t-shirt 👕 lool 😂
So, from what I’m gathering from what you guys explained, this story is about David Carradine playing two sides against each other to save a village? That’s A Fistful of Dollars (or Yojimbo, depending on who you ask)
The main bad guy was in The Green Berets: he was the guy who was worried about having something named after him when he gets killed. So John Wayne has his name put on a latrine.
Luke Askew also played in Walking Tall part 2 as Pinky Dobson one of the heavies!
Oh, I remember the 'bad guy' swords man from Roadhouse with Swayze, he was the one with the blade hidden in his boot!
Jason, I know it's not your fault but I'm so fucking mad I didn't get to see Quad-Boobs in all their glory, you robbed me TH-cam!!! Hahah, great episode as always gang
David Carradine: Great actor, did a lot of bad movies, hilarious death. 😂
Just based on what I remember from renting this from the local grocery store in the 80’s, as soon as I saw this was hitting your channel I was like, “oh shit, I bet that’s streaming on Tubi.” And of course it is.
I recently found your channel and love it. Brings a smile to my face especially when feeling down. Two movies I would recommend, not sure if already done so, are Equalizer 2000, a post apocalyptic Richard Norton (the buff guy from Gymkata) movie that is pretty bad but fun, and also Arena, kinda like Rocky in Space. I don't know the main actors, but the female lead is Claudia Christian, who was the stripper taken over in The Hidden (no bewbs, though).
Sounds great. Looking forward to them!
Oh, I remember Arena, I liked it as a kid. Main guy was good and of course Claudia Christian, great as always)
@@JasonBrant I hope someone who is better at finding the movies can get them to you. I know Equalizer 2000 is shown for free on Tubi and other places, but I know the DVD's are easier to watch live and edit for youtube.
We’re coming for you Rich Evans - Brian
I would pay money to see that
Imagine those two athletes fighting.
Obi-Wan, Jabba, desert planet...
Also, sort-of Luke and sort-of Han Solo, storm troopers...
Then he walks away like Kwai Chang Caine, while she yells, "Shane! Come back! I love you, Shane!".
OOOOOoooOOooohHHhhhHhh....It's on. Jason, Erin and Brian vs Rich, Jay and Mike. JB vs RLM!
