    Definitely seems like a budget friendly option compared to a $3K juice press system, Thank you for this video.

    Hola quisiera saber si está prensa funciona para obtener manteca de cacao ?

    • @Consiglioskitchenware
      @Consiglioskitchenware  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      English - "Hello, I would like to know if this press works to obtain cocoa butter?"
      English Reply - This torchietto is used to separate liquid from solids, I would not recommend for cacao as you would ideally need to blend in order to obtain a creamy texture.
      Spanish Reply - Este torchietto se usa para separar líquidos de sólidos, no lo recomendaría para el cacao, ya que lo ideal sería licuarlo para obtener una textura cremosa.

    Is there a way to bolt it to something heavy so it doesn't want to shift?

      Hey,
      Thanks for the question.
      Yes the feet have holes in them so you can bolt it down!

    Does the press go all the to the bottom? If not how many inches from the bottom?

    • @Consiglioskitchenware
      @Consiglioskitchenware  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hi there, the press goes all the way to the bottom. Additional pressure can be applied by turning once it hits the bottom.

    Hi, do you think you can make soy milk with this, just without the blending moment?
    About pressing almonds, is there a way to skip the blender part too?
    I'd much rather not use electricity, for a series of reasons. I see there are mechanical fruit juicers out there but nowhere to be found if they work with beans/nuts
    Thanks :)

      Hi Dorian,
      Thanks for the questions. The blending is essential as it will allow the most extraction to take place. Simply cutting the food product into small pieces is not enough for nuts /seeds. For optimal results blending and then pressing with the Torchietto will yield the best results.
      Cheers!

    Hi, what size would you recommend to press a full food processor jug full of vegetables? the jug is 2 litres but looks way larger than the insert of the 2 litre press so I'm not sure if the litres means volume of the inner basket or not? Thank you!

      Hi Ro,
      Thanks for the question. I'd recommend the large torchietto press.

    Can this be used to press citrus fruits like oranges, lemons, etc.?

    • @Consiglioskitchenware
      @Consiglioskitchenware  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey there, thanks for the question. You would need to pulse the citrus fruit first. Then, use a cheesecloth to line the metal basket. Then press the juice. You must cut the fruit into very small pieces, or use a food processor to create a pulp to extract max. amount of juice.
      Thanks!

      @Consiglioskitchenware  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Sulaiman,
      These are called Torchietto's! Neat eh. They are used to extract the liquid from solid fruits and veggies. Most often used for pressing eggplant jardiniere.
      Here is a link to the product page, we are currently sold out. But, you can certainly leave your email under the 'notify me' section, ETA for new stock is in April.

    I'd rather not use aluminum to press food, as there seem to be health concerns about aluminum.

    • @Consiglioskitchenware
      @Consiglioskitchenware  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi RS,
      Thanks for commenting.
      The outer and internal perforated basket are made of stainless steel.
      The removable reinforced pressing plate, base, handle, shaft, and vertical supports are made of aluminum.
      The food will be in contact with stainless steel, you can use a cheese cloth or cloth on top of the food to prevent contact with the pressing plate if desired.
      Have a great day!
      All the best,
      Consiglio's Team

    Does it work to make grape juice? 🍇

    • @Consiglioskitchenware
      @Consiglioskitchenware  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there!
      Great question!!
      Great question. You can press grapes through this. I would suggest to first put the grapes into a food processor or chopping them up into smaller pieces. This way you can extract the most amount of liquid. You can also line the inner bowl with cheese cloth to ensure no seeds end up in the final product.
      Ciao for now.
