Wish all "how to videos" were like this one. Will be starting this job soon and because of your video I feel confident enough to try it myself. Update: My wife and I just performed this repair today. Two things I would add 1) there is a plastic cover behind the inside door latch that has to be popped out exposing the bolt that needs to be removed (this isn't shown in the video. Update: it's there just quickly mentioned). 2) if you do not have a magnetic socket just put a little piece of duck tape between the bolt and the socket. It holds the bolt securely in the socket so it doesn't drop into the inside of the door. Having said all that it's a great video.
To aid in the reinstallation of the window glass, before you remove it, place painters tape along the bottom edge of the glass in a couple places along the outside of the glass where it meets the rubber water seal. Line it up perfectly along the seal. If your window rolls up, also place a piece along the vertical seal at the front of the window the same way. After the motor/regulator are replaced, this technique will save a lot of time adjusting window alignment when replacing the window back in the regulator mounts.
How do you diagnose that it’s the motor that’s faulty? I.e. not the switch or the regulator. Just trying to avoid buying unnecessary parts as much as possible.
@ninarabideau7003 funny. I took apart my door and tested everything and it started to work for 8 months but it stopped working last month. I just got a new motor and I'm replacing it today
@ninarabideau7003 not bad but I had to remove all the bolts and nuts. Also the motor seems not to be the issue but the window regulator is the actual issue.

Very clear and concise installation video. Thanks for sharing.
I actually need to do this! Thank you guys! Keep the videos coming! 😁🤙
Be sure to grab some parts from our website! Currently every dollar spent is entries towards winning a new Z!
Thanks for the vid. I changed out my motor and it works now (passenger side)
This is dramatically easier with the window glass taken out.
I needed this for my janky car
😂😂😂😂
How about I did everything but it don’t go back up and it makes a click noise
How long should that take? Great video.
I need to replace mine as well. Test your new motor BEFORE putting the black panel back on.

Ok thank you

@@Siege_the_350zhow did it go with the window being stuck all the way down ?

LOVE that interior.
Tells us to adjust the window mid video
