Hi Freeze, I noticed in an earlier video that you mentioned the gunshot after a heavy having light hitstun. I've been skipping the gunshot on heavies after gb/light parry into my walk the plank pressure and was wondering if that is the correct thing to do if I want to not have to think about my opponent dodge attacking out. Thanks!
Only because of the three hit damage reduction. Don't know the exact rules but after two attacks land on you, all subsequent attack damage in the same hitstun gets halved. This is to prevent you from getting instantly melted in ganks. Because hitting a wall counts as a hit, the pistol blast is the third attack and gets reduced to 2,5 dmg. So basically every character with an attack with odd damage numbers can deal decimal damage.
@freeze I don’t know if you pay much attention to the comments on your videos. Or the community conversations and suggestions specifically on TH-cam.
