Thank you for taking time to make this video. I am planning to try your method and see if the boards on the flip side are reusable. The boards are 15 years old and in pretty good condition. I'll come back with the results. FYI I found the DeWalt nail remover at Home Depot.

Great video sir. I'll be getting the nail removing tool that you used and get started replacing nails with screws. Thanks for the tips!

Good video. What's the nail removing tool called? The front of the tool is sharp which works best. Thanks.

      It's called a Nail puller.

Great job. This is on my summer to do list. I'll be using deck screws instead of nails. I don't know why the contractor used nails. Works for me as all the nails have lifted and keep hitting my toes 😂

Contractors opt for nails due to their lower cost, while screws are considered a superior choice 👍🏼 good luck.

This works great on 1x6, how about 2x6. Those nails look pretty small. Over all, vey helpful.

Yes, should work on 2x6 👍🏼

Sorry, but it’s not that easy, especially with old screws buried and painted over.

Putting a bit of oil, might help smooth the process.

Good video. I would suggest not using nails at all its a very old school way of doing it and as yoir boards are exposed to the yearly elements the boards expand and contract and because the nails don't have a thread they pop better to use treated pine screws
