      @@PahEz Idc about all that man. That's extra stuff. 165 fps is BEYOND more than enough. Hell, a 100 would be fine, so that's way more than what I can ask for. Like, i've always heard people make a big deal about getting over 200, but when i'm playing a dang game, i'm not focusing on that crap. I'm immersed in the damn game lol.. Plus, like really? ?... 240 or more fps is overkill. Honestly, 165 isn't necessary for good performance real quick time responses. 100 would be plenty. Your not going to play too many games at 240 fps dude, & if ya did, your not going to notice. You can only get so smooth ya know lol.. It's perfect.. End of story. More than enough for a gamer.

      @@NiteSek4804 Some of the things what you said is true but tbh I can spot the difference of let's say " 180 fps " and 300 fps right away. I'm a comp mw2 gamer. All I need is that stable 333 fps which is pretty easy to get. 125 feels fcking terrible. 250 is pretty much the same as 333 except there's still small differences. Even if I could get 700 fps stable with all high I wouldn't play with that. I always play with all low and locked to 333 fps for the smoothest experience. Pretty much the same on csgo. I use all on low / very low fps locked to 220. ( I do not own a 240hz monitor cause like you said it's *kinda* an overkill and I'm happy with my 144hz 1ms asus. It would be nice to have a 240hz monitor tho, no doubt. Also I'm not saying, that this 165hz monitor is bad. Like I said *in my opinion* the 240hz one would be better for *me*. Since I'm used to play with 333 fps locked. Both monitors are more than you ever will need for a regular gaming.

      @@PahEz I admit, some games, SOME... games are so demanding than others, that it will put a strain on your pc. Particularly your GPU, especially since GPU's typically produce the most heat, but honestly, do you really NEED 200, 300, or whatever FPS to WIN in comp gaming on COD? ?... No. Not at all. That's more of a want, than a need.
      Although, if you have the money, & your already maxed out on things that actually matter more, like a GPU, CPU, Mobo, a better power supply or cooling system, or more RAM or more Mhz for ram, or storage, or WHATEVER, then I don't see any reason why you shouldn't.
      Also, i'm not really convinced that you can see the difference between high FPS rates like that to the point where it is such a HUUUUUGE difference to you. The difference is so minuscule, that there's no way on planet earth that it's going to INCREASE your chances if winning. No, you've gone WAY past that point. At even 100 fps, all you should be concerned about at that point is hitting your target & avoid being hit. This is only COD we're referring to here as well. Just point & shoot. If your setup is up to par, & your internet is on point, then your in good hands. It's all just player performance at that point,.. but I get where your coming from, but when push comes to shuv, it's just not necessary.
      For a lot of people, it would just be a waste of money, & the most skilled gamers will be beastly regardless. It you play LoL against Faker or Fortnite against Ninja or Tfue or whatever, & they had only 90 fps, & you had 300, well guess what? ? That 300 fps isn't going to save your butt from being kicked Lmao... It's just extra. FACT: People in general are extra.
      Hell, in the marketing aspect, people now days, especially Americans, are just really dumb in an ignorant way. Negativity & cancerous attitudes are given views, shit content actually gets attention, movies & games are being butchered & people still watch or buy them & fake people are looked up to, but in a business perspective, that's actually good. Sad really, but that's just the way things are & your either in or your out. I'm the type of person who LIKES to be positive, but won't tell you anything JUST to make you feel better or make you like me. I prefer to be honest & hated, than sugarcoated & liked.

    • @PahEz
      @PahEz 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@NiteSek4804 I get your point but it's different. On mw2 there's different fps locks " 125, 250, and 333 " if u use 125 it's pretty damn laggy but you will jump further with it. If you use 333 you will jump higher with it. For strafes 333 is the best. Also it feels smoother than if u have ur fps on unlimitted. If my fps drops to 120 on csgo I can feel it because I have got used to play with 333 fps.

    I got this monitor yesterday, recently made the move from console to PC. The anti-glare coat feels "grainy" which is a massive change from watching/playing PS4 Pro for 6 months on a LG OLED C8 TV. I guess my eyes will have to get used to it over time... damn it.

So I want my build with 9900k and RTX 2080 ti and 970 pro m.2 ssd. 9900k supposed to come out on Ocr 1st but it may be delayed. If delayed till next year I'll have to get the 8086k 6 core cpu. So tempted to buy wonder if I cant find a 1440 with such a high refresh rate for a lot less money.

    Plz don't buy this Monitor, I bought like a year ago and am still using it unfortunately since its an expensive device. If you look very closely and attentive, you will find so many dead pixels around and I got it replaced with new screen panel which was under warranty and still found out Dead pixels. Later having the display replaced twice and still having those dead pixels, I gave up with it satisfying with the same monitor since I do video editing too now half of my Display Panel is full of Horizontal lines and have given it to for repair. This will be my 3rd time having my screen panel being replaced. Am tired of this particular Asus series. Am I the only one to be having this issue? Plz am tired of this and sometimes regret that I didn't buy MSI Gaming Monitor.

      Im going for the same upgrade, I will be going for the asus 279Q or the Acer predator XB271, or any IPS screen which is 1440p, 144hz+ & Gsync. Not going to worry about 4K, I'll rather game on a 1440p with constent high FPS. :)
