I tell you that was the best model Y roof rack installed video I have seen and it was super helpful as I installed mine great job presenting. I’ll definitely buy my accessories from you all
I recommend getting some transfer tape for that "sticker". That way it is easier to align it in the middle, and squeegee it out from the center. A lot of these films can also handle some light soapy water sprayed on the surface, so it's possible to position it correctly before using the squeegee. That way you're temporarily deactivating the adhesive while adjusting. Using a hairdryer or a heat-gun on a low setting afterwards to heat up the sticker also helps to really activate it so it doesn't come off in a few months.
The rubber strip at one end of my front rack somehow got torn off and have a gap of about 1cm. What can I get to replace the strip? No idea how it happened. I think my wife friend was observing it and her nail kind of tore it and it ripped off while driving. this my guess.
Most nationwide auto parts stores have a 'loan a tool' service. If you can't borrow a torque wrench from a friend or relative, that'd be the way to go!

That's a great idea that would make installing those stickers a bit easier. Thanks!
Does the rack create allot of wind noise?
Excellent explanation!
Thanks, we're glad it helped!
Very helpful, thank you!

Replacement strips are usually available, but we don't offer them. You'd need to get with your Tesla dealer about that. Hope that helps!
Would love to see the box that it can carry. Do you have a link?
Thank you so much!
You're very welcome, we hope the video was helpful!
Thank you.
LOL having to explain metric measurement to US users 😂
I like to remove the roof rack when I’m not using it to minimize noise and increase range. Do you recommend doing that in the Tesla?
There's no reason why you can't...go for it!
What to do for folks that don't have torque wrench?

What is the link of purchasing this rack? Thank you
What we show in the video is the factory roof rack. We don't carry that, so you'll need to source it from your Tesla dealer.
I see no arrows on my glass.. so all measuring tape for me.. 😅
They are there but very faint.
