    actively deployed as I write this. I bought the rush100 bag after watching your videos on it. I used it everyday and beat the shit out of it daily. I have mine packed with my helmet, gas mask, ifak, NOD's, and all the rest of my gear. It has held up great to the abuse so far. For anyone reading this. The rush100 has definitely not let me down. Both bags are great, but for longer distance carrying, the rush100 is top of the line for a bag under 900

    my 72 has lasted 7 years of hard use and is still nearly unscathed. it's my goto bag. the 100 lost my interest completely when I saw they abandoned the internal organization. the only thing of interest was the better load belt.

    As a big 5.11 fan and owning a Rush 72 as well as Rush 24, I like the look and features of this new 100. Seems to have more support with the beefed up belt and back padding which appears to support a loaded bags weight better, the added padding overall appeals to me. I also like the narrower profile as well, but still need to see more in order to make a decision. I own a few pair of 5.11 (ABR & Stryke with Flex-Tac material) pants that I use for hiking as well as SAR, and can't say enough about them in respect to fit, comfort and durability - I haven't bought another brand in a long time as far as pants go!

    I had the 72 its a great bag and all dont get me wrong but yeah the padding or whatever was a bit lacking I seen the 100 version is beefed up in that department so hopefully I'm looking forward to a bigger pack with better back support I won't even notice it's bigger

    The biggest downside to the 100 is, you really cannot bring it as carry on luggage on an airplane. I have been using the 72 for flights forever.

    • @2ndexodusmove
      @2ndexodusmove  ปีที่แล้ว

      That makes sense. It's good to know that the 72 can pass as a carry on.

    Only thing is the price of the rush 100 compared to the rush 72

    Would be cool to see them packed too! I'm biased to these reviews as i have alot of 5.11 gear. xD

    Would love to see a comparison of packed out gear, from one to another. Like to see you put it on, tell us how it feels from one another. Im looking to buy, like tomorrow, and am undecided on which pack. I hate to lose the ability to beaver tail mount butt of gun, or any other carry option between it and pack.

    • @2ndexodusmove
      @2ndexodusmove  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Rush 100 is more comfortable packed out then the Rush72. The Rush 100 just raises above your head in the back......

  • @Mystninja
    @Mystninja 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    There would be pros and cons with both. I have a rush72. I like that it's not above my head with moving in the thick bush. But not a fan of the (jacket stuffing open part.) Suck to attach pouches too. And if the rush24 had a waist belt with molle that would be my go to I can add more molle pouches.
    As for the rush100 if I had the cash to waste. On 5 more litres. I could see if it's worth double the price for the size.
    Kangaroo looks good too. A mix of sandstone and dark earth.
    But me. Myself. I'm trying to put more weight around the body. By using a modified chest rig. That needs the waste belt to connect too. So rules out the rush24. They still haven made the belt for the 12 and 24. But added the attachments. I may have to dodgy something up. From a cheap battle belt. 5.11 has shoot them selfs in the foot. Every bag is great but crap at the same time. If I could wear a battle belt and not have the bag push it down. Would be great.

      @2ndexodusmove  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      At 5.11 they have belts that can attach to the Rush 24. But they are just 5.11 belts for pants. I agree the Rush 24 is the best "all around" pack. A belt would be the topping everyone wants.

    • @Mystninja
      @Mystninja 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@2ndexodusmove the bdu belt. I was hoping someone with Mollie webbing. But I'm sure there is something that's not 5.11 that's cheap from China. That can be cut up and attached to the back pack.

      Double the price? Where I'm from the 72 costs €195 and the 100 costs €220

    I would honestly buy the Rush 100 if they didn't attach the shoulder straps using VELCRO. Such a great backpack.... completely ruined.

    • @brocklee7859
      @brocklee7859 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s not Walmart Velcro! I have a rush 100. I’ve never heard of anyone complaining of worn out Velcro when it comes to 5.11

    • @mattsmith6828
      @mattsmith6828 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@brocklee7859 even if it were the best velcro, it doesn't make any sense to solely rely on just that. i have their lima 56L duffle bag and 2 of their rush 24 2.0. I love all 3 bags to death and won't ever sell them. but i went with the Savotta Jaakari (Large) rucksack (w/ two 6L side pouches) instead. deff more expensive, but more durable and everything is either sown or is high quality molle.
      sorry dude, this thing just disappointed me.

    Is the Rush 100 Velcro straps, good enough to last as the rest of the nylon does?. Are they safe enough with a full loaded capacity?

    • @2ndexodusmove

    I can tell you first hand The Rush 100 is far more comfortable the the 72 .. for military operations I would only use the 72 I was going to be gone for two days putting weight on that thing kills the shoulders.

    Good informative video thank you . These are junk though ...good for short term I suppose. Spend a tiny bit more for quality . This bags are too gimmicky , heavy and clunky. Something I would have wanted as a kid to play with. Not really for serious minded people.getcha a Savotta jakkari that’s a real mans bag , son!
