I love how he's on camera, but he sounds like he's on the phone.

The music is so distracting! Why do people think that's a good idea? Especially on such a serious subject? Trying to concentrate on the information & that in your ear at the same time annoyed me so much I just stopped trying. Would you be playing that while explaining things to a patient in your office? I doubt it.

Totally agree with you. And I have found some treatments online. There maybe not be consensus on one standard treatment, but to say there’s nothing…and then oh yeah but we have this drug!! Lame…

I am recovering from this now. It's AWFUL! I'm 40yrs old and I lost my ability to walk, my right leg still feels like its "asleep", my skin is still "off" in my feet and no drs can tell me what 2 do 2 prevent it from happening again. I was life flighted 2 the Cleveland clinic and they saved my life but they can't decide if I should be on Xerelto or get the Lovenox shots or just do nothing. I just want my life back!!!

I had this happen to me 4 years ago. I am 65 and don't have high cholesterol levels and I am fairly fit, for me. I have a damaged mitral valve from childhood illnesses and it was repaired in 2005. The day that I had the broken heart syndrome I had a tooth removed. It happened afterwards but it was so weird! It was not a usual presentation of the elephant on the chest feeling like the "usual " heart attack. It was a terrible discomfort in my chest and an inability to catch my breath. And it just didn't feel right so I went to the ER. I remember that the whole ordeal was horrible with a nurse yelling at me! They finally medevaced me to a hospital that had a cardiac care unit. Even that place didn't know how to treat me! I was given cholesterol lowering drugs that I didn't need! And the attitude of the people was sucky after they found out about the broken heart syndrome. When this doctor said that this syndrome is a conundrum he is correct!! Even the cardiologist didn't really know what to do for me! I recovered from it but now I am in the early stages of heart failure and I have to travel again to seek out my care. I live in a remote place. The whole thing was scary but the care was really scary!! I want to mention that during the medevac, whenever the personnel had to lift me they would almost throw me down! I am small and I don't weigh a lot but medical people are so used to big people that they used too much force on me and almost sent me flying into the air!! Now that was really scary! 😮
