I'm in Belgium, that happened to a farmer here, but on his yard. The cops called the environmental police who made him dig up his paved yard to decontaminate the soil. It cost him tens of thousands.
I agree. Vandalism, theft, and lack of respect of one’s property have become an issue in all provinces and rural areas. You get to try to issue a statement of claim against them, and what you get is forced provincial mediation with some loser with no propensity to pay for his crime. If it’s not the local Junkie stealing it’s the local looser who’s jealous you’ve become something and they have not. They realize it when they are young and have accomplished nothing and again when they have nothing to retire on. As a fellow farmer, don’t let it rent space in your head , call the rcmp, ….and it’s likely not random, some loser is watching you or has something against you. I like your attitude and your channel.
Well 💩 that sucks Robin. There was a JD 7800 tractor or something similar stolen about 30 miles west of me in July. It was in an area that you could drive bye a tractor that size and never see it so its kinda like what happened to you, they had to know it was there.
Luckily it hasn't happened to us in years.. first time was 50 years ago, idiots siphoned diesel into their car.. lots of people heard them leave 😂😆 the last time, 35+ years ago I guess.. they got 100 gallons of diesel, dumped 💩in the engine oil, stole the fuel caps, oil fill caps and dipsticks out of 3 tractors.. all at the end of a mile long dirt lane, no one saw or heard anything.. we left the field at 11pm, found the vandalism at 6:30am... Woke up a couple of parts guys, had oils changed and everything checked out and going by 8am... Anymore, a night vision scope will take care of that 💩...
The officer was asking if it's stolen property over $5,000.00 or under; over $5,000.00 it's an 'Indictable Offence.' If it's over, that means possible jail time. Sounds like under :/ It looks like they know their way around a farm. Perhaps it's a neighbours kids with not enough allowance for gas AND beer?

You need to get a security camera on the swather lol! THIS SHIT PISSES ME OFF ASS A FARMER MYSELF! IF SOMEONE DID THAT TO MINE ID FINDOUT SOMEHOW. If I had to cast the tire tracks for forensics! Or I'd start setting in field with it. All night lol. Park a camper in field lol!

Wow that’s unbelievable. Can’t hardly see how that’s fair but maybe insurance covers that?

Hey, thanks for the comment. I appreciate the support
Gotta leave a full Jerry can sitting at the road for them. Half full of sugar water.
They don’t seem to go for that though
I had a minivan back in the day that I drove across the swath with. Darn thing caught on fire and that was that.
That’s to funny
If you think a thief would have any way of thinking on anything. That’s why they’re criminals they just don’t care!
I suppose. They are usually a little more classy then just driving through the swaths though.
Ah man… I’d lose it!!
It was very frustrating for sure

I think most areas have a good idea of who their thief’s are, it’s pretty sad nothing is ever done though
Unbelievable. What's a guy gotta do about these folks? 👈👈👈😬
Trees and ropes?
Thieves are a pet peeve of mine, steal from hard working people
Oh it’s frustrating for sure

It’s very well known who it is, it’s one of those situations where nothing gets done
...and the justice system would probably put the blame on you for the fuel mess in the ground too.
That’s about the extent of it yup
low bumber just pushed it out of the way - so a car or low truck with grain in the grill / radiator.
Them swaths are pretty tall any thing would push them around I think
Hmmm your very specific! Sure it's not you?
Set a trap

Yep u post a comment and ppl get butt hurt over u speaking facts about what needs to be done with criminals
People do get silly with that though, every one likes to talk big but rarely does anyone do anything.
