@@sathish1525 Hi, not in my experiences. The most significant difference I’ve seen between regular and Giant bettas is the aggression. Giant males seems to hit breeding dysfunction sooner.
I'm a little late to the game but great information. I have a beuatiful giant male that I want to breed and you amswered my exact question about breeding to a nice big reg. splendens female.
Greetings and thanks for the support. I’m on my 3rd generation breeding these giants. 1st and 2nd batches grew and been sold. Life’s been busy so I haven’t been recording videos but I’ll post one soon of the 3rd batch. They look amazing!
@@aqualoaquarium7195 question, if you breed giant betta the outcome of the fry is 50/50, meaning 50% change of getting betta fry and 50% chance to get normal betta.
Difficult. I got mines larger because we had wholesale and handpicked them. Those 4 to 5” ones were not very active and wouldn’t spawn. My guess is that they’re old. Good luck with your fish hobby.
Don’t let petco know that. Their price is better than these other places ask $60-$100 for a giant.
Thanks for the explanation. Keep up the great work!
ugh
Oops I've been telling my fish he's a king haha.
That’s okay. It’s not that big of a deal. Enjoy the hobby and Happy Holidays!
Is there a difference in temperament between normal male bettas and Kings and Giant bettas when it comes to aggression?
Hi there, between the two, nope. They’re all call fighting fish for a reason. Enjoy your betta keeping hobby.
Thanks For The Information 👍
Gaint bettas have shorter lifespan than normal betta?

@@agathatv7697 it depends on genetics. if the female and male are truly giants, you should bear higher results.
@@aqualoaquarium7195 nice! have fry now, almost 1 mo. old both giants parents. happy to hear that thanks
My question is where are you finding a betta that's 5"???? 😂😭
