It is getting harder and harder to afford food across the nation these days - everyone is struggling. The dollar really has to stretch more and more. Thanks! Now I want to make this - I haven't had it for a long time.

I love everything about this channel. The relaxed way of cooking and measuring (thanks for the metrics), the recipes, how you prepare everything in advance and show it faster for us, the music and that your son and wife taste test at the end. Due to the ongoing heatwave over here in Europe (no one has ac's in their homes) I couldn't really cook for months now .But first thing I will try when it finally gets cooler is the Pasta alla Norcina. I already bought the pasta for it. 🤤And then I will try all the other recipes. ✨

I like to use a butter knife and fork for things this would go good on just a little pasta or with a salad I like this recipe it can be modified and could use multiple different meat's and add different cheese's and sauces very good recipe, maybe start letting him try to figure out what the main ingredients were before telling him would add a new dimension to the show ,would also be cool to have a guest on sometimes like a friend or someone that also likes to cook but instead of Italian food it's a Grecian recipe, congratulations on the 400k.

I make stuffed peppers all the time. One of my favourite dishes!! When I make the stuffing, I don't cook the rice or protein (diced chicken, prawns, minced meat) just keep them raw. I would also add diced fresh tomatoes, spring onions, parsley and coriander, spices and dried herbs (mint, oregano, dill) just to enhance the flavour. Oil too for a moisture.
I will try it next time with cooked protein and rice, and I would assume the cooking time will be less.

I do a Fusion style Italian/Mexican stuffed pepper that me and my wife really love ... I use Anaheim Peppers which are somewhat spicy and fill it with homemade Italian Sausage , topped with bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese and cook it all in a few inches of chicken broth ... then when it's almost finished baking , I add halved cheery tomatoes and if we have them sun dried tomatoes ... they are incredibly delicious and are perfect without rice because we typically eat them with rigatoni noodles or something similar

I give to many 10’s 😂 a credit to the cook. Thank you for the recipe. I usually use a bell but I’ll see if I can find an Italian pepper. Doubtful but I’ll try.

Made these today and they were amazing.
I uncovered after 30 minutes and would do that again. It initially seems like a lot of sauce, but it cooks down nicely. I’d also add the cheese after uncovering.

Variants can be found in both Greek & Turkish cuisine with various Vegetables, with our without minced meat, no cheese and usually addition of spearmint.

A little molasses or brown sugar really helps cut the acidity on the canned tomatoes. Also really brings out the flavors. For this recipe I would say a quarter cup dark brown sugar. ❤

I’m definitely going to try this. Growing up in Long Island they used to sell deep fried ham and cheese calzones. Have you ever had those? Also not sure if you have a zeppole video.

Great tip on the parchment paper! That will work for Lasagna, baked macaroni, etc. Good recipe too, just can’t get those peppers out west.

Where do get These peppers, I’m Italian & have never heard of them, I always use Bell Peppers, the peppers you’re preparing looks so inviting.

Thank you for putting some sauce into the stuffing. I would put some V8 juice in it so the flavor gets infused and it isn't as dry as stuffed peppers tend to be. But yours is very similar.

Never occurred to me to stuff cubanelles. I either fry them for sausage and peppers or I pickle them peperoncino style. Great Idea to stuff them.
