Hey Dan some solid reinforcement there with the frame on 👍 do you think it’s possible to reinforce the stock spring perches enough from ripping off wile the frame is still in? as for someone who is not wanting 3 wheel or bridge the car just used for hoping with a nice little bit of power to the back also
@liljay5653 I did kind of. I am working on another video I seem to be the only person that has problems with them th-cam.com/video/YEO8p5uO3aM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=IGitBRwBZYgXukIJ
What type of wire ???? were you running I know it was a big spool vs the sma spool to reinforce and what type of gas were you using for the MIG welder ???? Little details like that Oregon gas or what other type of gas
Will a 3/4 frame wrap in rear with 3/16 be enough for three wheel in a g body? I'll be doing a bridge in rear also and 3/16th partial in front and 3/4 wrap on belly.
@@danhodgkiss9798 I got a few of them now. If you have any other questions that you dont see check out Russell Harris page also he has a lot of tech videos
Looking to do a standing 3 with my 93. Whats the minimum reinforcement you’d recommend? Basically plate everything with 3/16” that’s visible and I should be good? And a bridge.
@@MediocreMotorsports that's what I did the minimum I would do is the rear arches and a bridge you can watch the build of my Fleetwood if you havent already. I have a play list of it and show every reinforcement I did to it
Hey dan I've been watching your videos on reinforcing the big body frames i'm looking for someone who cut the templets for the caddy frames. Do you mail order big body frame reinforcement templets?
I miss that car so much

You can plate the pocket and add gussets it will help but best overall is to do a bridge or plate the perches when the frame is off the body
@@thecadillacdanshow8658 thanks 🙏 also did you ever do the video on the Cadillac slip joint I couldn’t find it

Did you lift the body off the frame to weld the tops of the side plates?
Not on this one that's why I did the plug welds
